Still asleep, and tragically, too many refuse to wake up.
They’re coming for you next: A private Christian school in Loveland, Colorado, is planning to sue the local health department because it demanded their students wear masks or else the school would be shut down.
Parents at Resurrection Christian School in Loveland, Colorado, were told on Sept. 15 that all persons entering school buildings the next day must wear a mask, by order of the Larimer County Health Department, or their school would be closed. The order allowed for medical exemptions but made no distinction in regards to vaccination status or acquired immunity.
The same evening, school Superintendent Jerry Eshleman vowed in a video message to parents and staff to fight the health department’s edict in court. He urged parents to comply with the public health order for the time being, so that the students wouldn’t have their school year disrupted by a forced school closure while the case was being fought.
Based on the article, it appears that many parents are trying to get medical exemptions for their children, with some succeeding.
Regardless, forcing kids to put on masks is the height of stupidity. The data has unequivocally found that children are almost completely immune from COVID. Unless they are seriously ill from some other deadly disease, it does them no harm. They often get it and don’t even show symptoms. Moreover, the data strongly suggests they are not very contagious and do not pass it on to adults easily.
Masks themselves can be harmful if worn incorrectly, which I guarantee every single one of those kids at this school will be doing. Very quickly, as they get dirty and are handled repeatedly by the children they become pathogen bombs, carrying disease at the very place the kids breath. At the same time they restrict oxygen while forcing the children to inhale too much carbon dioxide.
That this health department is imposing this mandate merely proves that it is not interested in protecting these kids, but is instead gleefully finding an excuse to exert its bureaucratic power, just for the fun of it. You are going to do what we say, or we will destroy you! Very disgusting.
Moreover, it is using the CDC guidelines as its justification, though those guidelines do not rely on any real data and are based merely on the fear-driven feelings of corrupt CDC officials. According to the health department’s spokesperson Kori Wilford,
Wilford said that when it was determined that all grade levels at RCS met the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s standard of “outbreak” status, it was time to act decisively and impose a mask mandate on the school. An outbreak is defined as five or more cases in a class or school. “We do not want to be the Big, Bad Wolf, but we have a duty under the Colorado Revised Statutes and Regulations to not let the outbreak continue,” she said.
That there is zero evidence that mask mandates worldwide have done anything to prevent outbreaks is irrelevant to the CDC or this health department. They must do something, and masks are a good “feel-good” gesture they can claim. Soon they will demand vaccines, then isolation, then imprisonment for any dissenters. Be prepared. Power corrupts, and they’ve got it.
I hope the school wins in court, but it is perfectly reasonable in today’s America to be pessimistic about this. The courts have repeatedly (though not consistently) shown that they are all-in with the rise of government power and its desire to oppress. The school will simply have to be lucky with the judges that get assigned to its case.
