The real pushback against Disney, ABC, and Kimmel continues

slandering half the nation. Click for original video.
Not surprisingly, the leftist Disney corporation that owns ABC backed down yesterday from its suspension of Jimmy Kimmel, posting a pandering explanation for why it no longer considers it a problem that Kimmel spouted a blatant lie about the leftist killer of Charlie Kirk.
“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country. It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive,” Disney said in a statement Monday. “We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.” [emphasis mine]
Kimmel’s comments weren’t “ill-timed” or “insensitive.” What Kimmel said was an outright slander of every person who voted for Donald Trump by claiming it was one of them that killed Kirk.
The pushback against Disney and ABC over Kimmel however has not diminished. The independent companies Nexstar and Sinclair, which own 30 and 40 affiliate television stations that are presently part of ABC’s network, have not backed down. Both have announced they will continue to refuse to air Kimmel’s show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! Sinclair has further said that it won’t change its position until Kimmel apologizes to Kirk’s family and makes a “meaningful personal donation” to them and Turning Point USA.
Sinclair has additional personal reasons for standing up to Disney, ABC, and the terrorist left. It had planned to air a tribute to Charlie Kirk, but decided to cancel it because of multiple violent threats from the left to is local stations.
In the days that followed, Sinclair executives grew increasingly concerned that airing the Kirk tribute would potentially inspire copycat crimes similar to the shooting in Sacramento, according to the source, who asked not to be identified. Sinclair notified both law enforcement and private security firms regarding the threats, the source said.
Without those 70 stations, the ABC network will take a major hit. In fact, this action raises the possibility that the entire network might even break up. Why should any decent company want to associate with ABC and Disney, which apparently has no problem defaming conservatives. Disney itself in the past few years has demonstrated its ugly face, promoting the queer agenda repeatedly in its childrens movies.
A lot of course will depend on what Kimmel does this evening upon his return. He has made it clear that he has no intention of apologizing, and in fact intends to “double down” on his false statements from last week. If he does this tonight, it will do great harm to ABC’s network and Disney, especially if they shrug and let him do it.
If Kimmel fakes it and acts contrite, the network might recover. But no one in their right mind should be fooled. Any apology put forth by this hate-monger should not be trusted. Remember, he celebrated the censoring of Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson, while routinely ridiculing conservatives almost exclusively. And during the COVID panic he wished death on those who refused the jab.
I must emphasize that I am not calling for censorship. Kimmel can spout his hate wherever he wants. Such hate — and the willingness to lie and slander those he disagrees with — however disqualifies him from being the host of a major media show. Let him climb on a soapbox in a park somewhere and screech his hate and lies to the pigeons. The nation should not be subjected to it on national television.
Let me leave you with one more tidbit that shows the left’s hateful and often violent behavior is not new. Below is a video from journalist Andy Ngo, who once considered himself a liberal Democrat. When he started to cover Antifa rallies and riots, documenting accurately their violence, they made it a point to attack him physically, more than once. The video below documents one such attack in 2021, in which one of the antifa protester saying they’ll kill him if they get their hands on him.
And all Ngo was doing was filming Antifa’s actions, like any good journalist. And I can promise you, he no longer considers himself a liberal Democrat.
On May 28, 2021, I ran for my life through the streets of downtown Portland, Ore.
Antifa had discovered me working undercover after one of their members, John Hacker, exposed me to the mob.
I screamed for help as I fled, but drivers and pedestrians looked away. The businesses… pic.twitter.com/kX7PKoIm8a

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The print edition can be purchased at Amazon or from any other book seller. If you want an autographed copy the price is $60 for the hardback and $45 for the paperback, plus $8 shipping for each. Go here for purchasing details. The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News
Every time I hear or read about a “special deal” to subscribe to Disney, I cringe at what they have become. We grew up with the Sunday evening Wonderful World of Disney.
Re: “”Let him [ Kimmel ] climb on a soapbox in a park somewhere and screech his hate and lies to the pigeons””
I would classify that as cruel and unusual punishment to the pigeons. SPCA may have to put sanctions on such behavior.
Do you mean Andy Ngo? (penultimate paragraph)
I hope that he does, in fact, double down on his show tonight.
As time has passed, many on the Left have come to realize that Charlie Kirk was NOT the evil person the sickest of their ilk would have us believe. Van Jones’ recent comments about Kirk’s reaching out to him with an invitation to have a genuine and respectful dialogue have resonated. More reasonable Democrats have seen the reaction to the assassination on the Right, one of peace and prayer, not one of violence and protest.
Let Kimmel expose himself for what he is.
Andi: Yes. Thank you. Fixed.
