Pushback: Libs of TikTok threatens Twitter with lawsuit if banning continues
Twitter: Home for censorship.
Bring a gun to a knife fight: After getting suspended again by Twitter for merely proving that Boston Children’s Hospital was doing sex change operations on children, Libs of TikTok founder Chaya Raichik had her lawyers send the social media company a letter threatening a lawsuit if the suspension was not lifted immediately.
As she notes,
Last week, I was wrongfully suspended from Twitter for seven days after I exposed a hospital that admitted to performing gender-affirming hysterectomies on healthy minors. I say “wrongfully” because the reason given for my suspension was hateful conduct. I did not engage in hateful conduct. I accurately reported the truth
In their letter Raichik’s lawyers made it clear [pdf] that nothing she did was hateful. If anything, her actions caused others on Twitter to spew hate at her. As the lawyers noted also,
Despite the plain language of Twitter’s hateful conduct policy defining race and religious affiliation as protected categories, your company provides a platform for users to spread anti-white racism, e.g., Leilani (@Lalanee), Twitter (Aug. 30, 2022, 6:35 PM), https://bit.ly/3B4VpoU (“We shoulda just let these white devils succumb to scurvy and syphilis.”) and anti-Christian sentiment, e.g., bRational (@bRational2), Twitter (Aug. 28, 12:44 PM), https://twitter.com/Brational2/status/1563930517401391104 (“Christians are evil.”). Famously, America’s enemies like the Taliban and the Ayatollah Khomeini also have a voice on Twitter, while LOTT is currently silenced.
The lawyers then warned if the suspension wasn’t lifted immediately they would begin legal proceedings. Not surprisingly, Twitter immediately reinstated her account.
This is not the first time Twitter has attempted to blackball Libs of TikTok. In April Twitter suspended the account for twelve hours, again for the false slander of promoting “hateful conduct,” when all Raichik did was repost the actual words of leftists, mostly school teachers and officials explaining proudly how they pervert young children sexually without the knowledge of their parents.
Soon after that April suspension the CEO of the Babylon Bee satire site, Seth Dillon, worked out a deal with Raichik to make sure Libs of TikTok would not die.
Dillon announced the deal via a tweet thread, stating that the woman behind the “Libs of Tik Tok” account “won’t be cancelled from her job because this *is* her job now. I’ve worked out a deal with her that will turn her heroic, high-risk working into a career.”
Chava Raichik and Seth Dillon represent true fighters for freedom of speech. Not only do they expose the perverse nature of the left — using the left’s own words — neither is willing to run from a fight. If anything, both fight back even harder when the totalitarians of the left attack.
The battle of course is not over, especially when major leftist news outlets like NBC eagerly support the doxxing of Raichik and other conservatives. Show the slightest weakness to these jackbooted bullies, and they will come after you with knives.
Fortunately, to continue the metaphor first said by Obama, Raichik has come to this fight with a gun.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News
