The Obama administration has issued an order forbidding Navy Seals from wearing the “Don’t Tread On Me” flag on their uniforms, something they have been doing for two centuries.
The Obama administration has issued an order forbidding Navy Seals from wearing on their uniforms the Navy Jack, which includes the words “Don’t Tread On Me”.
They’ve been wearing the Navy Jack for the last two centuries.
After reading the email, I first wondered, ‘why?’ (Actually, first I headed to the gym to take out my frustration and anger on some unsuspecting weights with the fury and intensity only a former Navy SEAL can exert.) Why would our leaders sell out our heritage? Why would they rob present and future sailors of our battle cry?
When a friend of mine asked his leadership the same question, he was told, “The Jack is too closely associated with radical groups.” We must assume that this thought policeman embedded in the SEAL community is speaking of the Tea Party, whose flag (which also dates from the American Revolution) depicts a snake with the same defiant slogan as The Navy Jack.
The Obama administration’s objection isn’t because the slogan is associated with “radical groups.” It’s because that slogan is now associated with their political opponents, who just happen to have more in common with this nation’s heritage that Obama and his ilk.
The support of my readers through the years has given me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Four years ago, just before the 2020 election I wrote that Joe Biden's mental health was suspect. Only in this year has the propaganda mainstream media decided to recognize that basic fact.
Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Even today NASA and Congress refuse to recognize this reality.
In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.

I fly my Navy Jack flag every day in front on my house below my lighted American flag. I alternate between the yellow Gadsden flag and the first Navy Jack flag to keep my neighbors guessing my mood.
Destroy moral, keep your enemy off balance, then they will be unable to be effective. This agenda is coming from the head of the American military service in order to weaken it. The enemy within.
This would make a great scenario for a movie, too bad its the American reality today. Imagine how the next 2 1/2 years will play out. Especially the last couple of weeks when all of the pardons are doled out and the final nails are hammered into what is intended to be the coffin of the former America.

I realize the significance of Obama’s minions not wanting to be associated with the first Navy Jack flag. So that you know, the Navy Jack has 13 red and white stripes with an uncoiled snake in the center and the saying, “Don’t tread on me” beneath. The Gadsden flag is the yellow fielded flag with the coiled snake and the same defiant saying underneath. It’s the yellow Gadsden flag which is associated with the Tea Party and not the Navy Jack, so why the interest in not allowing the Navy SEALS to wear this patch?
Well, I think it has something to due with a beautiful lady moored in Boston’s Charles River named the U.S.S Constitution. You see, the Navy Jack is the flag that is flown on the bow of a naval vessel just as it was on the U.S.S. Constitution and her six sister frigates as part of this country’s first navy authorized by the Congress in 1798. But what must make this particular flag such an annoyance is that it flew on our naval vessels off the coast of North Africa in the war against the Barbary (Muslim) pirates. The U.S.S Constitution kicked butt and helped to rescue over 100 hostage US sailors and officers and to end the tribute this nascent country was paying to the Muslin rulers of Tripoli. Yes, the Marine hymn even references just that feat in the line: “to the shores of Tripoli.”
Obama and his minions just got back from a PR stint in Boston, and I’m sure he seethes knowing that proud, beautiful vessel moored in Boston has the moniker of U.S.S Constitution, the oldest active commissioned naval vessel in the world and she flew that Navy Jack the SEALS want to wear.
Obama is a bastard!
Nothing is beneath them, but a far great matter is the purge going on within the military of commanders of the nation’s nuclear force, the purpose of which seems to be to embed the military with commanders who are loyal to the administration, and not necessarily to the Constitution. Notice that military firings are escalating, while no one — no one — has yet been fired for “Fast and Furious,” the IRS scandal, the NSA spying on Americans and, except for the one commander who resisted standing down during the Benghazi attack, no one responsible for that fiasco. It is time to begin talk of impeachment and not stop that talk until this traitor and his associates are removed from office.
Wow, Obama keeps surprising with new lows.
Along these lines, I just heard on the radio that two officer graduates of West Point will be married at West Point. Not that there’s anything “wrong” with that, but it seems to be a part of the continuing emasculation of the American military and the American male.
