My February birthday fund-raising campaign for this website, Behind the Black, is now over. Despite a relatively weak initial three weeks, the last week was spectacular, making this campaign the second best ever.

Thanks to every person who donated or subscribed. It continues to astonish me that people who can read my work for free like it enough to donate money voluntarily. Words cannot express my appreciation for that support, especially in these uncertain times.

If you have been a regular reader and a fan of my work and have not yet donated or subscribed, please consider doing so. I take no ads, I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands (most of the time). Thus, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

3. A Paypal Donation:

4. A Paypal subscription:

5. Donate by check, payable to Robert Zimmerman and mailed to

Today’s blacklisted American: January 6th rally attendee commits suicide

Mark Aungst, murdered by the Biden Administration
Mark Aungst, murdered by the Biden Administration

Blacklists are back and the Democrats have got ’em: Mark Aungst, a Pennsylvania man who attended the January 6th 2021 election rally in Washington DC and had been prosecuted by the Biden administration for “demonstrating or parading in a restricted building,” committed suicide on July 20, 2022, shortly before his sentencing.

And what was Angst’s horrible crime of insurrection on January 6th for which he was forced to plead guilty and which he was to be sentenced in September to as much as six months in prison and as much as $5,000?

Assistant U.S. Attorney Mona Furst said the prosecution had evidence showing Aungst and Bronsburg entering the Capitol through the Senate fire door by the parliamentarian’s office approximately 2:45 p.m. and leaving 30 seconds later. Twenty minutes later they re-entered the building through the Senate wing door, and took photos and videos on their cell phones as they walked through the Capitol and into Senate Room 145.

Bronsburg later posted a video she took in the Capitol on Facebook and when Aungst returned to the bus he showed others his pictures, said Furst.

Neither assaulted a police officer nor stole or damaged government property, the prosecutor had said at a previous court proceeding.

My god, what horrors! This guy walked into the Capitol (the doors being opened by security), took some pictures, and had the temerity to show those pictures to others! Clearly he was part of a coup. That he could only be sentenced to six months in jail was certainly insufficient. Democrats nationwide can now celebrate that this evil insurrectionist is now dead.

Moreover, Democrats must be further heartened because this is the second January 6th protester to commit suicide because of their persecution.

I found these paragraphs from his obituary especially heart-breaking:

Mark was a gas field well service technician in the area. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. A loyal and dedicated man, Mark showed tremendous pride for God and his country. Above all else, Mark loved his daughter and any time they spent together, as she was truly his world.

Mark leaves behind his beloved daughter, Megan A. Aungst (Garrett Gleckl) of Newberry and a granddaughter, Aria on the way; siblings, Ami Packer (Ken) of Williamsport, Luther Aungst III (Laurie) of Elmira, and Heidi Lorson (Bern) of Williamsport; his mother, Cheryl Aungst; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Of course, we do not know the whole story. Nonetheless, I am certain that Aungst had become depressed by the federal government’s persecution of him, merely because he attended a political rally. That action proved that Aungst no longer lived in the free America he was born in. Instead, this country, led by Democrats, had become an oppressive authoritarian nightmare where politicians had the ability to destroy you if you expressed an opinion publicly.

But go ahead Democrats, vote for more such oppression. It will only show us what thugs you really are.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

    What I want to SAY…..

    Is Not Publishable…….

My family is a bunch of loony leftists. Last December 7 I was at my sister’s house and her husband said “Today is the day that will live in infamy”. My sister said “January 6th is another day that will live in infamy”.

A large percentage of the American people that get their information from the evening news really believe that, and they do celebrate that Mark Aungst committed suicide for his “insurrection”.

The “Jan 6 Insurrectionists” have been held in solitary confinement, not allowed visitors, held without charges, beaten by guards, given inadequate food, and none of them have been charged with “insurrection”. The charges have been things like “assaulting an officer” and “obstructing an official proceeding of Congress.” Mark Aungst had pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor of parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.

Trump has 80 million faithful followers, most armed. If Trump wanted to start an insurrection he could just give the word. Then the Democrats wouldn’t have to parse adjectives to try and find insurrection.

How sad. Of course there were likely other issues at play, and I firmly believe it is every person’s unalienable right to leave when they’ve had enough… but that our government exacerbated this situation is absolutely repugnant. Shame on them for this hyper-partisan political persecution.

    Oy.

How do we fight political warfare in America? Lawyers, Courts and Money!

Politics in other words. Jan 6th “Investigation”? POLITICS.

And what you propose would play right into the Democrats agenda.

They must be thoroughly beat into submission at the polls and then the pressure of the revealing of their in many instances of criminal and corrupt attempt at retaining their political power shown to all.

How do some attempt to fight the political warfare in America, if they can get away with it?

Los Angeles Registrar’s Office regarding the Gascon recall: “[A] reference to monitors/observers in the presidential election is not an accurate comparison as an election does allow for public observation, and Los Angeles County does have an Election Observer Program where members of the public get to watch election-related activities,” Registrar spokesman Michael Sanchez told the Washington Examiner. “However, a recall attempt and its verification/certification activities are not the same.”

In the everyday man and womans Pedestrian Realm perspective it is assumed that through honesty and fair play that any vote would be cast honestly and counted honestly. But that is a subjective false reality assumption on the part of those in the Pedestrian Realm. It is incorrect, it is delusional.

Why is it incorrect and delusional? Because those who seek political power in the Political Realm will pervert both the manner in which the votes are cast and the manner in which they are counted. Period! Two totally different realities where the one assumes that their reality of fairness and justice prevails, and that is incorrect. These are the two conversations that occur in politics.

“S.O.M. CONCLUSION: The public lives and operates under a subjective moral code or within a “Pedestrian Realm” perspective which they assume their leadership which exists within the “Political Realm” is constrained by. This is a subjective false perspective conclusion on the part of the public. Leadership at its existential core is not about morality, truth and honesty. Leadership is about the fundamental exercise of power and “its” survival.”

By any means necessary literally means, by any means necessary, up to and including murder if necessary.

Q: Why would anyone in the position of authority within the Political Realm so overtly create some degree of doubt in any election or in this case a recall referendum that would recall “One Of Them”?

A: Because they technically and legally can. (If they can get away with it)

And so, in this recall election and in the coming midterm elections and beyond, let there be MASSIVE and overwhelming turn out and numbers that cannot be manipulated, hid or denied.

And that is how we fight political warfare in America, that is the only way.

“The USPS has just created a division of NALC employees exclusively to handle mail-in voting, just in time for the mid-term election.”

    92% Democrat affiliated.

What happened to that case where Long Island Postal driver who testified that he delivered 280,00 prepared ballots from Long Island to Pennsylvania?

Trump had to go and has to stay gone in order that the Globalist Socialist W.E.F. “In the future you will own nothing, and you will be happy” agenda (D).

You’re a Democrat? Its all right in front of everyone’s eyeballs. What are you going to do about it?

  • Cotour

WHY ALL OF THE INSANITY AND DESTRUCTION FROM THE DEMOCRATS? (Copy and share)

Simple, desperation. The Democrats are desperate and understand that they are going to lose political power in the midterm elections because the numbers against them will be massive and they will not be able to massage them to their advantage.

And they are doing as much damage to the economy and the country installing the Globalist / World Economic Forum / “Progressive” / Liberal / Leftist agenda as they possibly can in order that their agenda not be able to be undone any time soon.

All paid for by YOU. The Democrats have arranged that you will pay for the destruction of your own country for their political power benefit.

And that is just how simple all this insanity in economics, inflation and threats to the country like the flooding of the borders with millions of illegals in order to fill the cities with newly minted voters (D) over time. Cynical?

No, reality. The Democrat party machine will do ANYTHING in order to acquire or retain their political power, Satan would be proud.

CORY BOOKER, OBAMA ALL BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY………..

    Worth listening to:

Booker and Obama paid for by Right wing Republicans (RINO’s IMO) and corporate entities !?:

    https://lawanddisorder.org/glen-ford/

I found this speech by Glen Ford (No not that Glen Ford) very interesting in bringing out how our politics is run, bought and paid for by those in the corporate world and those in the Political Realm essentially are owned by them and their think tanks. A perverse mutually parasitic symbiotic relationship.

This is the nature of the acquisition of and the retention of power.

The Constitution structures our system of governance, and we embrace the power that Capitalism can bring to the individual and their freedom. But there are costs, nothing is perfect. The Constitution attempts to control and regulate the corporate world and their influence in politics and the perversion that can and will arrive if it is not in some way shape or form “properly” regulated by the Congress and the Senate.

Who by the way are also bought and paid for in many instances by those very same corporate entities and think tanks. OY!

It’s not perfect but it’s still the best system IMO as perverted and corrupt as it can, will and has been. You must embrace that truth and deal with it and not turn away from it and think that there is some better way. There is not IMO. And when you think in those absolute Pedestrian Realm terms the only thing that can come of it is the total compliance and regulation of one’s life to the government. They win.

When powerful concepts of man are made manifest you must at some point attempt to deal with the perversions and corruptions that come to exist in some degree in that reality. And this is the challenge that the Constitution attempts to in some manner deal with and to shine the light of some degree of truth upon the abuse of power cancer so that the people can attempt to counterbalance and disinfect that cancer that is the abuse of power.

What is the nature of man related to power? It will be abused, and that is one truth, one absolute that will live forever and will never be solved or counter balanced when the individual becomes totally subservient to the entity government and who traditionally owns and runs it.

The Constitution structures political warfare, political warfare that must be fought every day. Be smarter.
