An evening pause: A different way to enter the weekend. This speech by this comedian was given about a decade ago as part of a campaign to change British law to get the word ‘insulting’ removed from Section 5 of the Public Order Act, as part of the Crime and Courts Bill. The campaign succeeded, but it appears the modern police and governments (from both sides of the political spectrum) in Great Britain have recently decided to ignore it. If you are conservative and criticize illegal immigration or Islam, those governments have decided that this speech is now illegal. I like this quote most of all:
“For me, the best way to increase society’s resistance to insulting or offensive speech is to allow a lot more of it. As with childhood diseases you can better resist those germs to which you have been exposed.”
Too bad we appear to have decided to abandon this wise philosophy, not only in regards to speech, but to infectious diseases as well.

We HAVE come to fear the fear itself.
We have reached a point where too many people are too easily insulted or offended. Many are overly sensitive to any sort of criticism or challenge. On the other hand, many simply DESIRE to be insulted or offended, as such feelings allow them to blame others for their own life failures.

If the Leftists within were able to have their way in all things they are focused on there would be no call to touch the Constitution.
And there we can all se the reason that the Constitution is doing exactly what it was intended to accomplish, the counterbalance to the abuse of political power.
The Constitution is “outdated”?
The Constitution was built for what it is being put under today, treason and sedition by one political party in their pursuit to dominate the political landscape. and their response?
When they attain the political power embedded within the Constitution regarding the presidency? Flood the country with illegal aliens with no allegiance to the country but would have an allegiance to a political party that has allowed them in and enriched them in order to defeat the intent of the Constitution.
A rose by any other name would be treason!
And that is exactly what the radical Democrat party, the RINO’s, the leadership of the FBI and the CIA are clearly in league to accomplish. They seek unbridled political control without any hinderances that a populous that a Constitution empowers to direct their government may provide.
The Constitution structures an adversarial struggle I.E. political warfare.
