“International press coverage has become a morality play starring a familiar villain.”
Guess who that “familiar villain” happens to be. It shouldn’t surprise you, though it horrifies me that this is happening again, in the west, in civilized society, and among the so-called intellectual elites of the U.S. and Europe.
If you are really serious about understanding what has been going on in the Middle East these past few months, make sure you read the entire article, carefully, and slowly. The conclusion will tell you a great deal about what is going to happen in the coming years. The fact that most intellectuals in the West will be caught with their pants down when it does happen can best be summed up by how that conclusion begins:
Because a gap has opened here between the way things are and the way they are described, opinions are wrong and policies are wrong, and observers are regularly blindsided by events. Such things have happened before. In the years leading to the breakdown of Soviet Communism in 1991, as the Russia expert Leon Aron wrote in a 2011 essay for Foreign Policy, “virtually no Western expert, scholar, official, or politician foresaw the impending collapse of the Soviet Union.” The empire had been rotting for years and the signs were there, but the people who were supposed to be seeing and reporting them failed and when the superpower imploded everyone was surprised.

Your support allows me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.
In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.

After reading this article the phrase, “Don’t let them immanentize the eschaton” immediately came to mind. When all is said and done, blaming the Jews is just the excuse to start the fire. Afterall, what a convenient scapegoat they always make. But the final goal isn’t about Israel. Their jihadist final solution is found in the crucible eventually turns all of Western Civilization into charcoal. That is their eschaton, and that is the meme reporters, intellectuals, and trendy elitist miss to everyone’s detriment.
They, and by they, I mean the elitest In Washington, hate western society for the prosperity that comes with a productive society, they feel guilty over the poverty of Africa and society’s like it, they hate the west for its governence, and prosperity!
First they killed the Jews for their religion, then the reason they killed them was for being a people and now it is about being a nation. Hater’s will always find a reason it’s just that they don’t win until the dominant prevailing thought is, this time it’s different.
For many on the Left equality over all else is more important then truth and when truth is no longer valued the world descends into chaos and violence.
