IG had recommended criminal prosecution of Comey
The law is only for little people: In testimony today before Congress, Justice Department inspector general Michael Horowitz revealed that he had recommended criminal prosecution earlier this year against former FBI director James Comey.
The Justice Department however declined to follow through, essentially letting Comey off the hook.
In the past few weeks there have been many rumors about more criminal referrals by Horowitz in connection with his investigation into the illegal use of the FISA court by the FBI and Obama Justice Department to initiate spying operations on Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign. The conservative press has made much of those rumors.
To my mind, the rumors mean squat, just as Horowitz’s recommendation here against Comey. Until these corrupt officials are actually indicted, the IG can say whatever he wants, but nothing has been accomplished, and future federal employees will know that they can attempt a coup against legally elected lawmakers and face no consequences.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

TODAY ON VETERANS DAY 2019
Inpector General Horowitz will soon issue a previously unidentified report specifically on St. James Comey and the FBI’s use of known fraudulent information (From Christopher Steele) and the using of that “information” to acquire FISA warrants that allowed them to spy on the Trump organization and the presidential campaign. And Comey and the FBI, DOJ and the CIA knew all about it and knew where it all came from, the Hillary Clinton organization. Which by their own testimony most all supported for president.

This report will be seperate from the FISA report and seperate from the Durham now criminal investigation into the “Russia Collusion” investgation of the investigators. (The FBI, DOJ and CIA leadership)
I think I can predict what the main topic of conversation for many will be around the Thanksgiving table this year. I myself will just be listening. Why? Because most of the people that I know are totally unaware of any of what is actually going on, their souces of news are not covering most of it from what I can detect. And so I will listen.
And now we better understand what the Democrat leadership is all about when they strategically file impeachment charges against Trump for a phone call from one president to another president related to corruption in Ukraine. And I think it is reasonable to expect that it will be forcefully demonstrated that Joe Biden and his son Hunter are going to be at the core of much of this impeachment discussion ultimately. Which will more than likely eliminate Joe Biden from the 2020 presidential race.
Joe Biden will soon feel the compelling need to spend some quality time with his grand children. And the Democrats will be left with Elizabeth Warren, Oy, and Michael Bloomberg, double Oy. They really have no one else.
Ultimately whether you be politcailly Left or Right oriented this is exactly what must happen and in the end this will be very good for the country. It may take a while to shake out but this is how things should be. And if a majority of this investigation is somehow short circuted and swept under the rug for political reasons then we are all in big trouble.
Let the cleasing light shine on the darkest places within our government, for all government anywhere on the planet from its inception can be only one thing, and that is corrupt and self interested. And that is the foundation of abuse of power. Its just a matter of degree.
And this is where when corruption does happen and the necessity to cover it up and protect the agencies and bureaucracy becomes absolute, that is the exact moment in time that the cleansing light must be shone on those agencies and actors and be revealed and dealt appropriately with.
