Virgin Galactic has signed a deal with NBC to televise the first commercial flight of SpaceShipTwo.

I note that with this announcement Virgin Galactic has backed off from its previous schedule for launching this flight this year. They now say it will happen in 2014.

Oh great now all the self absorbed entertainers will be bidding each other up to be the first on TV in space.

Like a planet with them on it wasn’t enough now they want to go and infect space also.

  • Space is a great place for them if they’ll stay there.

  • Whatever you may think of Richard Branson, you have to respect someone who’ll put their butt where their mouth is and ride fire on the first commercial flight of SpaceShipTwo.
