Biden’s anti-Christian Easter proclamation means the Democrats believe their November victory is certain

The decision by the White House to declare Easter Sunday, the holiest day of the Christian religion, to instead be this year’s “Transgender Day of Visibility”, as shown by the screen capture of his declaration to the right, outraged and insulted millions of religious people throughout the country.
That outrage was further inflamed when the very next day Joe Biden boldly denied he had done any such thing, even though he had done it only one day previously.
“I didn’t do that,” Biden said when asked about proclaiming Easter Sunday ‘trans day of visibility.” Asked about Speaker Johnson’s claim otherwise, the president replied, “he’s thoroughly uninformed.”
Most political analysis of these events has focused on whether these actions suggest Biden is entirely incompetent, or whether it proves that others run things in the White House and that Biden is merely a puppet on a string. In either case, those analyses noted that these actions showed an amazing contempt for the religious community that could only hurt Biden in November.
I see this in an entirely different way. While the decision showed utter contempt of Christians, who consider the queer agenda to be deviant and sinful, it also showed us two things about the Democratic Party leadership, whether Biden or the puppet masters pulling his strings, that should truly terrify every single American who values our democratic republic, its Constitution, and its Bill of Rights.
First, the blatant scorn of the Christian voting block illustrated by Biden’s proclamation as well as his bland denial of it the very next day suggests the Democrats no longer care what Christians and other devoutly religious groups think of them. Traditionally, no matter what politicians truly believed, in the months leading up to a close election they would try very hard not to offend large voting blocks. In the past a candidate for office like Biden might express support for the homosexual and queer community, but that candidate would be very careful to do so in a way that would not offend others. On one day he would tell the world he loves queers for following their heart truthfully. On the next day he would say that he loves Christians for their noble and moral stance on the issues. Or to put it more another way, as a Mississippi legislator named Noah S. “Soggy” Sweat, Jr. said in April 1952:
You have asked me how I feel about whiskey. All right, here is how I feel about whiskey.
If when you say “whiskey” you mean the devil’s brew, the poison scourge, the bloody monster, that defiles innocence, dethrones reason, destroys the home, creates misery and poverty, yea, literally takes the bread from the mouths of little children; if you mean the evil drink that topples the Christian man and woman from the pinnacle of righteous, gracious living into the bottomless pit of degradation and despair and shame and helplessness and hopelessness, then certainly I am against it.
But if when you say “whiskey” you mean the oil of conversation, the philosophic wine, the ale that is consumed when good fellows get together, that puts a song in their hearts and laughter on their lips, and the warm glow of contentment in their eyes; if you mean Christmas cheer; if you mean the stimulating drink that puts the spring in the old gentleman’s step on a frosty, crispy morning; if you mean the drink which enables a man to magnify his joy, and his happiness, and to forget, if only for a little while, life’s great tragedies, and heartaches, and sorrows; if you mean that drink, the sale of which pours into our treasuries untold millions of dollars, which are used to provide tender care for our little crippled children, our blind, our deaf, our dumb, our pitiful aged and infirm, to build highways and hospitals and schools, then certainly I am for it.
This is my stand. I will not retreat from it. I will not compromise.
That’s how politicians have traditionally campaigned. Everyone has always understood it, and accepted this basic dishonesty because at least it tells us that politicians remain beholden to us, the voters, and have to please us to win office.
Biden’s insulting actions on Easter broke from this tradition. So did recent actions by Biden and Senator Charles Schumer (D-New York) in attacking Israel’s government for attempting to destroy the terrorist organization Hamas. In both cases these actions suggest that Democrats now believe they can offend both Christians and Jews as much as they want, because the votes of these groups no longer matter, no matter how many of them vote. The Democrats have now honed their vote tampering operations from 2020 and 2022 to a point where they are certain they can guarantee victory in November.
They no longer have to be beholden to large voting blocs, because they know how to cancel their votes.
Think about that.
Second — and even more frightening for those who believe old-fashioned morality matters — Biden’s proclamation favoring the queer agenda on Easter suggests that the Democrats sense the political make-up of the United States is now on their side. Even without their vote tampering operations, the Democrats now fully believe that a large plurality, even a majority, of Americans now favor the queer agenda over the Ten Commandments. Biden can give Christians the finger because the moral tenets of Judeo-Christian culture no longer dominate the moral framework of our country. Instead, Americans support the queer agenda, and are willing — even eager — to help keep it in power.
Persecuting Christians is about to become cool once again!
Think about that. Enough Americans today might actually endorse the mutilation and castration of little children, the blacklisting and censoring of conservative and religious individuals, and the imprisonment of political opponents, to make vote tampering irrelevant. The Democrats apparently think they can win November on this platform, because they are no longer advocating it discreetly. Instead, they are pushing it down the throats of those who oppose it, in the most disdainful way.
It is possible that neither of my suppositions above is true. Americans could still vote in large majorities against this Democratic Party’s queer agenda, and the vote tampering by Democrats might not as serious or as effective as I fear. It is also possible that the Democrats are entirely out of touch with reality, considering the political bubble they live in that has no contact with normal Americans, and that most of the country is equally appalled by this agenda as I am.
However, politicians live and die politically on their ability to read the population and its wishes. If the Democrats think they can smash their boot in the faces of Christians with such imprudence, it tells us that their reading of the situation is similar to mine.
And if they are right, then everyone — and the right and the left — should be very terrified by what may happen in November, because it will not be good for anyone.

The date of Easter changes yearly. This year Easter and this other holiday coincided. It was not anyone’s nefarious plan despite your desire to portray it as such.
It was not chosen in any way by Biden, you are projecting again.
Check your calendar for next year and see when Easter will be celebrated. You might as well start hyperventilating about it now and get ahead of the crowd.

I think the “KISS” theorem should be used on the proclamation. If Joe Biden did make it on Sunday, and then declared he did not on Monday, there are two possible explanations. He astutely realized to apply the “Soggy” dictum trying to keep favor with both groups, or this is hard evidence that Joe’s short-term memory is failing him. I don’t think Joe was using “Soggy” given the ever more accumulation of
cognitive missteps to date. How can world leaders believe what Joe says if he denies it the next day?
One of my thoughts is that the Democrats think they can change the vote count to whatever they want to gain the outcome they want in those “Purple” swing States. I would not be the least bit surprised if Trump were far ahead of the Democrat, that the vote count for Trump would not just level off but decrease markedly with a similar increase with the count for the Democrat and also probably a huge vote spike of unknown origin for the Democrat.
Alternatively, the Democrats have been talking about not certifying the Election should Trump win. They may be able to get enough anti-Trump Republicans to vote with them to do that unless the Democrats have a majority in Congress then it is easy-peasy. But I don’t see how that works out because it caused the Election to go to a vote by States. The Democrats would have to have assurance that the majority of States Congressional delegations are anti-Trump.
As Robert has said, they might assassinate Trump. They would then say that the Democrats came in second and since the winner is dead they are now the winner. Such a scenario would fit with the Democrats’ twisted thinking.
Finally, their bravado has already lead the Democrats along with the Deep State to plan a coup if Trump wins. There are a number of ways they can execute that.
But, whatever happens, I think Civil War is what will happen.
The radical operatives who run the president had him sign a proclamation specifically on Easter Sunday in order to make a very specific political statement.
I think because of the coincidence of Easter falling on the same day that Transfiguration day he should have made a decision to sign the proclamation after the Easter Sunday date OR he should have waited until next year after his reelection to do so.
But he and they very specifically did not do that.

We really need to realize that fair elections are a thing of the past. The “Red Wave” was squashed as was the election of Trump in 2020. They fully realize that they can get away with anything. Sadly, it has not gotten bad enough yet. When Biden and his ilk are in office 4 more years, it could possibly get to the point where real change will take place. If there is anything left to change!
As noted by Bosco Bob Easter is a moveable feast. That said the Trans Day of Visibility is ~14 years old. Depending on how pedantically you count the setting of the date for Easter was either established by Pope Gregory the XIII as part of the Gregorian calendar in 1582 or was established at the time of the resurrection shortly after the commemoration of the Passover some time between 30-40 CE. To the best of my knowledge there were NO proclamations for Easter or Good Friday (the date when Joe Biden or whoever is running the joint issued the TDOV proclamation) as has been traditional in the past. So I see four major possibilities here
1) Those responsible for the proclamation are totally clueless behaving as Pauline Kael did with respect to Nixon. Here they didn’t know when Easter was or know anyone that actually celebrated Easter other than its cultural Easter Bunny version. Given who they’re hiring for positions such as Press Secretary, this is a maybe
2) They are (as commenter Naybor suggested) trying to shore up their base and make sure it turns out as they sense parts of it are defecting. This seems a stretch as it will only shore up a tiny part of their coalition and not a part that seems to be particularly likely to defect.
3) This is an intentional distraction in the Obama “Flood the Zone” style. Not sure what they are trying to distract us from, and announcing it on a Friday is a classic “Nobody will notice this move”
4) This is as Mr Zimmerman suggests an intentional stick in the eye of the religious Christian Base, basically saying “We are going to push this hunk of protoplasm and his VP past the finish line again in November and there is bugger all (somewhat literally) you can do about it”. But that ACTIVATES the Christian base even more the goal ought to be to try to exaggerate Trump’s assorted peccadilloes (sexual and otherwise) to suppress the Christian Base turnout.
None of these seem valid, oddly the first favored by Hanlons Razor (Do not ascribe to malice that which can be more easily explained by ignorance and stupidity) seems strongest and yet also most implausible as even a planarian (which would take the current Press Secretary 9 falls out of 10 in a battle of wits) could not be that ignorant. None of this makes sense at any level which suggests I am missing something very obvious.

But I have to give Creepy Joe some cover here as this Transgender Day of Visibility has been around since 2009 and always on March 31st though I can’t recall ever hearing about this previously.
To have Creepy Joe (or, most likely, his enabling cohorts) tout this day on Easter Sunday is just plain in-your-face arrogance and the proof of their positions as being 100% “Down for the Cause” and damn the consequences.

I am not impressed with arguments that somehow these two holidays coincided and therefore persons of faith are overreacting.
The Executive branch intentionally proclaimed March 31, Easter Sunday, as a day which commemorates visibility for a favored demographic which demographic is often openly hostile to Christians. Those are facts.
And the message is clear. The Administration is openly and unapologetically hostile to Christianity.
In no possible manner is it accurate to argue that the Democrats are forwarding this narrative in Good Faith.
