Celtic Woman – Faith’s Song
Celtic Woman – A Spaceman Came Travelling
Celtic Woman – Westering Home
An evening pause: As Diane and I drive south from Glacier National Park, heading to Capital Reef, this travel song somehow seems appropriate.
Hat tip Tim Vogel, who adds that the hat tip should really go “to my mother who keeps playing this for my young kids.”
Celtic Woman – Isle of Inisfree
An evening pause: Written by Dirk Farrelly in 1950 while on a bus heading to Dublin, the song invokes the longing of an immigrant far from home.
And when the moonlight peeps across the rooftops,
Of this great city, wondrous though it be,
I scarcely feel its wonder or its laughter…
I’m once again back home in Inisfree.
Hat tip Edward Thelen.
