Treason: Documents now released from 2016, just after Trump’s election victory, prove without doubt that Obama and his top intelligence officials conspired to create Russian collusion hoax, despite having assessments by their intelligence agencies declaring Russian actions did not include Trump and had no impact at all on the 2016 election.
That assessment is nicely summarized by the screen capture to the right.
We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.
After getting that negative assessment, Obama immediately called a meeting to rewrite the conclusions, in order to create a fake political issue aimed directly at destroying Trump’s presidency.
The following day, Dec. 9, 2016, a meeting convened in the White House Situation Room, with the subject line starting: “Summary of Conclusions for PC Meeting on a Sensitive Topic (REDACTED.)” The meeting included top officials in the National Security Council, [National Intellitence director James] Clapper, then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-National Security Advisor Susan Rice, then-Secretary of State John Kerry, then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, among others, to discuss Russia.
The declassified meeting record, obtained by Fox News Digital, revealed that principals “agreed to recommend sanctioning of certain members of the Russian military intelligence and foreign intelligence chains of command responsible for cyber operations as a response to cyber activity that attempted to influence or interfere with U.S. elections.”
…After the meeting, according to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Clapper’s executive assistant emailed intelligence community leaders tasking them to create a new intelligence community assessment “per the president’s request,” that detailed the “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.”
“ODNI will lead this effort with participation from CIA, FBI, NSA, and DHS,” the record states. Later, Obama officials “leaked false statements to media outlets” claiming that “Russia has attempted through cyber means to interfere in, if not actively influence, the outcome of an election.”
By Jan. 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released that, according to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, “directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months.” [emphasis mine]
The result was a four-year-long witch hunt against Trump, including the investigation of special council Robert Mueller that in the end found nothing, but made believe something might still be there.
These revelations are not really news, as ample evidence has existed since 2020 of this coup attempt, further documented by the Durham report released in 2023. What is different now is that Trump’s director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, now has access to the files from that time, and has released those documents publicly, providing us actionable legal and unequivocal evidence of treasonous actions by these officials, including Obama.
Will Obama, Clapper, Brennan, Rice, Kerry, Lynch, and McCabe ever face charges for their actions? At the moment it appears that Brennan might, along with former FBI head James Comey, based on a criminal investigation recently launched by the Trump administration at the FBI. It was Comey’s FBI that pushed back the most against that initial negative assessment, making up the Russian collusion hoax out of nothing.

What should infuriate every ordinary American is that the Russia and Trump collusion accusation was clearly utter garbage and unbelievable from day one. I noted this fact in 2017, stating that “on its face it is absurd. As noted repeatedly by even Trump’s critics, there is no evidence of any illegal acts by anyone.”
An intelligent press that was at least attempting to cover the news objectively should have seen through this tissue of lies immediately, and at a minimum ignored it. Instead, our propaganda press not only never questioned its absurdity, it piled on, spending years ginning up this fake crime for partisan reasons expressly designed to help the Democratic Party and hurt Donald Trump.
A free society cannot function when all its news sources are corrupt in this way. Fortunately, our free society has a solution, in that its laws require freedom of speech. The result is the springing up in the past decade of an alternative press, all far more willing to report the news instead of being dumb mouthpieces for the Democratic Party.
This is why Trump won in November. It is why his budget cuts will go forward in some manner, because the incessant pro-government propaganda from the propaganda press no longer controls the narrative. People can now see through it, and because of this, progress can finally be made to change things in Washington.

Here’s the real question: if Obama instructed otherwise agnostic intel agencies to fabricate Russian interference and Trump collusion with it… why? Trump was just a rich guy who unexpectedly won – why not let him stumble around while you build mansions?
More to the point, what was Obama afraid Trump would uncover that was bad enough to risk destroying his two just completed Presidencies? Vengeance for Hillary… ha?! And why did a bunch of Intel guys go along with it, instead of laying low and then trying to curry favor with the new guy?

My memory of that time includes various talking heads on TV bantering about a treason conviction AND execution, making it in my mind a murder conspiracy.
Ray Van Dune: There is logic to your speculation. I suspect however the real reason why Obama and this crowd ginned up this hoax was simply hubris. They were so used to getting favorable press coverage and were so used to ruling unopposed that they thought they could get away with it.
And for almost a decade they did, and even now might still get away with it without consequences.
What saved us is simply the law, and freedom. These goons thought Mueller would be able to manufacture charges that could be used to get enough RINOS on board to remove Trump, and even put him in prison. The new alternative press made that impossible, combined with the realization that it was impossible to do such a thing and get our legal system to go along blindly.
Whether that legal system will administer justice to these thugs is not clear. I am not sure I want that. Better that we look forward, remove all the worst players from the government, and move on. Retribution is generally not a good thing in politics, as it always leads to counter-revenge and a fear by both sides that if they don’t literally destroy their opponents they themselves will be destroyed.

It is quite possible that Dems will regain control of one or both houses of Congress in the upcoming midterm election. I am afraid that if so, we will find out that impeachment has already become a “normal” political move – without the Republicans ever having indulged in it!
That’s why arguments urging “restraint” are foolish. With Dems, restraint is for losers, and they would rather rule over a pile of ashes than lose!
Ray Van Dune: Sadly I think you are right. The Democrats have succeeded in utterly destroying the concept of comity that used to exist between the two parties, allowing opposition without hate. That is gone.
Whether the Republicans have the will to fight back as you wish however is quite unclear. A weak counter-attack will be worse than no counter-attack at all.
So, to come full circle, if we agree that comity is gone, is that sufficient to explain why Obama decided to try to destroy Trump, and was able to enlist help widely within the bureaucracy?
I do not believe so. Rather, I believe it was the reverse – that comity had to go in order to hide a terrible secret that Obama had to protect! Wouldn’t be surprised if it involved John Kerry, who after all introduced Obama to us! Is there perhaps yet a lamppost with Kerry’s name on it?!

These hubris-filled individuals know no other way to live, other than the status quo that has been fed to them all their lives … and they really think that someone implementing an alternative will lead to the ruin of America. They fail to perceive, in their hubris, that we are already on the road to ruin because of their rule-of-the-few that unplugs most of the distributed intellect in our nation.
And … those who are part of the societal and/or political elites are all-in invested in their elite status – financially, professionally, politically, even in terms of reputation and their own self-esteem. They have built their ENTIRE lives around being perceived as the elite, for it is what gives them the acceptance they desire; that they are Smart/Nice/Important People™.
But the perceived value of their status depends upon their relevance to our lives … how much we need, and therefore defer to, them and their “superior” guidance. Hence the motivation to encourage its imposition as The One True Way in every area, through both social pressure and in some cases the coercive force of law.
Donald Trump, in word and in policy, dissents from that paradigm. His policies instead expand respect for and protection of individual liberty – including the liberty to stop being victim, take responsibility for our decision-making, and depart from that One True Way when it doesn’t work for us as individuals.
That erodes the perceived value of elite status in this society. Irrelevance has become a primal fear in their psyche.
These two reasons are why the elites were motivated to the point of collusion, to tear him down.

The intelligence agencies are a particularly nasty part of the swamp. Through bribes and blackmail they run a lot of the country and the world. That’s why Chuck Schumer said in 2017 “Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday to get back at you” when Trump said he was going to take them on in the Russia collusion lie.
Most people doubted Tulsi Gabbard would have the wisdom and courage to take on the intelligence agencies when Trump appointed her Director of National Intelligence, a position that gives her insight into all intelligence agencies. She’s done a courageous and outstanding job even though the intelligence agencies have tried to destroy her and her credibility, and will now ramp up their attacks.

Of course they thought that they could get away with their hoax. Obama told his followers to punish the Democrats’ enemies and reward their friends, and starting in 2010 he got the expected stochastic favoritism from several Democrat-leaning government employees. There was barely any consequence for any government official who favored Democrats and punished non-Democrats, and never a reported scandal. Obama was even able to proclaim his own administration scandal-free, because the press barely covered the biased actions of government officials or employees. Rather than be neutral, as required by the Hatch Act, for fifteen years governments throughout America choose sides in politics — and always the Democrats’ side.
Government entities that have taken sides in American politics:
IRS: Lois Lerner, et al, refusing tax-free status for certain groups, based upon suspected political leanings;
FBI: Using political opposition dossier as an excuse to spy on a political opponent. Entrapping innocent people into pondering kidnapping the Michigan Governor. Investigating parents as terrorists at school board meetings. Michael Flynning General Michael Flynn. Warning news media and social media that any suspicion of Hunter Biden is untrue despite knowing that it was true.
DOJ (Department of (In)Justice): Selectively prosecuting Republicans and not Democrats (e.g. prosecuting Trump for non-crimes yet not prosecuting Hillary Clinton despite listing multiple federal felonies).
Homeland Security: Telling social media and press what is “true” to report and what is false to stifle. Publicly abortive attempt to create a Disinformation Governance Board. (If there is Official Disinformation, there must necessarily exist Official Truths.)
National security agencies (all): spying on President Trump.
Marines: literally backing up Biden as he accuses Republicans of being fascists during Independence Hall speech with a NAZI-like red & black backdrop.
Congressional Police: Inviting Trump supporters into the Capitol Building for tours just so that the same police can then use them for target practice, then arresting the survivors for trespassing, parading, or other minor offenses that they didn’t do.
FAA, FCC, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (Department of Interior): Hampering SpaceX from testing Starship in order to punish the Democrats’ political foe, Elon Musk.
FEMA: Refusing to help people who show signs of belonging to the “wrong” political party.
New York State: Prosecuting Trump for crimes not committed
Georgia State: Prosecuting Trump for crimes not committed
The hoax may be what they have scandalous evidence for, but the Democrats have been doing this kind of thing for a decade and a half.

Justice is not retribution. If we cannot administer justice for wrongs committed by people in government, then we shall end up with tyranny by people who know they can do anything with impunity*. Literally.
Worry about counter-revenge? Rather than prosecute Clinton for multiple serious national security felonies, as described by the FBI, Trump let her walk free, specifically for fear of counter-revenge after counter-revenge. But the Democrats went for the counter-revenge anyway, the Democrats committing injustices against Trump for revenges he never went after. The last two items in my list above are persecutions from two state governments for actions that Trump didn’t do. In one trial, the Judge told the jury that they could merely assume that Trump was guilty of any one of three crimes he was never convicted of, tried for, or even charged with. The Democrats went for impeachments for non-high crimes or non-misdemeanors but for the regular actions of a president — even the Democrats in the Senate had admitted that the House Democrats had sent an impeachment that lacked any evidence of wrongdoing and demanded a second investigation just so they could have some sort of evidence to hang on Trump.
No, we are already down the rabbit hole of counter-revenge, and it is all on the Democrats.
We the People are now looking for justice for Hatch Act crimes and other crimes committed by people in government. Letting them get away with employing the power and resources of government to punish one party’s enemies and favor the favorite party sets a precedence that we have already seen has led to a decade or more of the same.

Edward, they see this as the normal order of things, for they view themselves as a Righteous Normal. In their thinking, all dissent from their One True Way can only be the result of ignorance or evil – and therefore dissenters deserve no respect; they are an Evil Other whose suppression by the Righteous Normal is “justified” to preserve their social order.

As I said, if we let them get away with this behavior, we will only get more of it. The tyranny has started, we need to end it. We have a legal system that can do so, but only if it works correctly, not like in New York and Georgia.
In addition, either the Democrats have to return to The American Way, or they have to go the way of the Federalist Party. America cannot survive with the way the Democrats are now. Just look at California*, New York City, and Detroit**, among other American examples of Democrat disaster areas.

If there was justice, quite a few prominent Dems would be ending their days at the ends of ropes in the federal death house at Ft. Leavenworth. But I suspect we will not see even preliminary moves to seek that sort of justice. The legal process would be lengthy – far outlasting the Trump administration – and many of the worst offenders are old enough they would likely expire of natural causes before any resolution of their cases could be achieved.
So I am okay with satisfice, given that actual satisfaction seems precluded by the laws of both man and physics. The destruction of all, or at least the worst, of the edifice of tyranny and corruption the Democrats and other leftists have built over the past century-plus will do, adequately, in place of notional bodies dangling from gibbets. The Trump administration appears to be doing yeoman work toward this end with rogue elements of the judiciary who tried to block this initially now pretty much steamrollered flat by SCOTUS. May it continue for the remainder of the Trump administration and beyond.
