Conscious Choice cover

From the press release: In this ground-breaking new history of early America, historian Robert Zimmerman not only exposes the lie behind The New York Times 1619 Project that falsely claims slavery is central to the history of the United States, he also provides profound lessons about the nature of human societies, lessons important for Americans today as well as for all future settlers on Mars and elsewhere in space.

Conscious Choice: The origins of slavery in America and why it matters today and for our future in outer space, is a riveting page-turning story that documents how slavery slowly became pervasive in the southern British colonies of North America, colonies founded by a people and culture that not only did not allow slavery but in every way were hostile to the practice.
Conscious Choice does more however. In telling the tragic history of the Virginia colony and the rise of slavery there, Zimmerman lays out the proper path for creating healthy societies in places like the Moon and Mars.

“Zimmerman’s ground-breaking history provides every future generation the basic framework for establishing new societies on other worlds. We would be wise to heed what he says.” —Robert Zubrin, founder of founder of the Mars Society.

Millions have gotten COVID, almost none have died

In questioning Health & Human Services (HSS) secretary Xavier Becerra during Senate hearings last week, Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) made a comment whose significance has largely gone unnoticed. In challenging the Biden administration’s vaccine mandates that demand everyone get vaccinated, even those who have gotten the Wuhan flu and thus have a natural immunity far better than any of the vaccines, Rand said the following to Becerra:

You presume somehow to tell over 100 million Americans who have survived COVID that we have no right to determine our own medical care?” Paul asked. “You alone are on high, and you’ve made these decisions? A lawyer with no scientific background, no medical degree. This is an arrogance coupled with an authoritarianism that is unseemly and unAmerican. You, sir, are the one ignoring the science.[emphasis mine]

Most of the reporting of this hearing and Paul’s questioning of Becerra has focused on the vaccine mandate and the obvious absurdity of forcing everyone to get it, even when there is no need.

The highlighted words however are far more important. This supposedly “deadly” disease, as it is almost always described in mainstream news reports, kills almost no one! Moreover, Paul’s statistic is likely less than the true total, as this was the number of people estimated to have survived COVID at the end of 2020, ten months ago. Since then it is certain that this number has risen considerably, and could easily now include half the population of the United States.

Let me repeat that: At the end of 2020 almost one third of the population of the U.S. had survived the Wuhan flu, with the number of excess deaths only slightly greater than some of the worst flu seasons. As I noted in an essay in April 2021:

When compared to the entire population, [the number of COVID deaths] is a pinprick. There are presently about 330 million people alive in the U.S. Eighty-three thousands deaths equals a death rate of 0.00025, which means 99.975% of the population survived during that first week of January. Even more revealing, had the number of deaths been what the CDC expected, about 60,000, then 99.982% of the population would have survived instead, a difference of .007%, a percentage difference so small that scientists would normal consider it what they call an insignificant number. [emphasis added]

Thus, almost every single person who has gotten COVID since the start of this epidemic has survived it. Though the virus does appear to be somewhat more difficult to deal with than the flu, and it does also appear somewhat more deadly to the elderly and the sick, it still in general mimics the flu in its potency. Just like the flu it passes through most of the population with relatively little harm.

We need to stop cowering in fear over this virus. We need to do what Norway, Sweden, and Denmark have done, and lift all mandates and restrictions and begin to once again live like adults, unafraid of our shadows.

Most of all, we need to recognize that the Wuhan virus is not the killer it has been sold as. It is a respiratory disease that must be treated if you get it, but in most cases it will do little harm, and you will return to normal shortly thereafter.

‪In addition to what Bob posted, I wanted to point out that the‬ overwhelming majority of Covid-related deaths had serious conditions like heart disease, diabetes & cancer; and that the average age of death was basically equal to life expectancy (78-82).

‪Also although we have Senators starting to ask pointed questions of the Lying Liars of the Overstate such as Fauci and this clown ‬Xavier Becerra, as ‪citizens we need to confront and get in the stinking face of Covidstan.‬

‪In my opinion we need to start openly mocking our public health officials, politicians, and even our own doctors, if they act like ‘See no evil, hear no evil’ flying monkey of the current corrupt system. ‬

‪For example, we can mock them by pointing out that after all this time we have access to no inexpensive treatments for the WUHAN FLU. Yes there are the monoclonal antibody treatments at a thousand bucks a pop, and Merck’s proposed magic bullet pills for $70 a pill, ‬and $700 per 10-pill course. ‪But nothing else is allowed in the US – what a cruel joke! Even HBOs ‬Bill Maher is asking ‘Where are the treatments’ and admonishing his audience to ‘Root For’ cheap and effective drugs.

‪All these elites are horridly self serving and I no longer consider it rude to get in their face. RAIN TRUTH BOMBS & MOCK THEM MERCILESSLY!‬
‪When Truth hits home, things can change – for example ‬today is Francis Collins’ final day at NIH, which is probably connected to the stories of NIH’s involvement with the Wuhan Institute of Virology. This is somewhat sad because Collins was an accomplished scientist before joining the Overstate through the NIH. Perhaps he was just a pawn sacrifice as the Overstate grinds onwards.

  • Jester Naybor: Your paraphrase of Churchill sent chills down my spine. I pray you are right.

  • We are already seeing the pushback beginning … in Tallahassee, in Austin, and from the grassroots in Southlake, TX, with respect to CRT.

And they’re not the only ones. Here’s a link to a graphic (from a few weeks ago) documenting the states suing the Pseudodent over his threatened nationwide vaccine mandate … with the Churchill paraphrase above added (by me).

Even Ohio’s Mike Dewine – a darling of the mask Karens – is opposing the vaccine mandate.

Southlake is particularly interesting to me, as I am somewhat familiar with the makeup of that community and the good reputation of the school district there … it is a community full of people who have succeeded on their merits in big ways, and they are not about to let a school district with almost no evidence of racial disparity be used to tell their kids that it is skin color – not the content of their character – that is determinative of their worth, and that both white and “of color” should simply submit to the socialism behind CRT.

And of course, we are seeing it in our college-football stadia, as unmaksed people let the world know what they think of Pseudodent “Brandon”.

Up here in the Vampire State, it’s not reached those levels of pushback yet, though Comrade DiBlasio and Pope Kathy-Vax I are doing their best to invite it. Restaurants in NYC are hurting again because of proof-of-vaccination mandates, and one health-care conglomerate up here fired 1400 employees for lack of vaccination this week … a small portion of their total rolls, but that’s still a lot of people.

Jestor – like others here I applaud how you applied Winston Churchill’s rallying speech to our current fight against COVIDSTAN. Perhaps another reader of BehindtheBlack can apply parts of Churchill”s Iron Curtain Speech to today’s systemic election fraud and Corrupt One Party Democrat or Uni-Party control of this country’s political system. Here is an excerpt of that Iron Curtain Speech.

“From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, an iron curtain has descended across the Continent. Behind that line lie all the capitals of the ancient states of central and eastern Europe. Warsaw, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Bucharest and Sofia, all these famous cities and the populations around them lie in the Soviet sphere and all are subject in one form or another, not only to Soviet influence but to a very high and increasing measure of control from Moscow. Athens alone, with its immortal glories, is free to decide its future at an election under British, American and French observation. The Russian dominated Polish government has been encouraged to make enormous and wrongful inroads upon Germany, and mass expulsions of millions of Germans on a scale grievous and undreamed of are now taking place. The Communist parties, which were very small in all these eastern states of Europe, have been raised to pre-eminence and power far beyond their numbers and are seeking everywhere to obtain totalitarian control. Police governments are prevailing in nearly every case, and so …..”

Understand something, people. This attack on the American people is bipartisan.

The “loser pays” idea would hurt those who would sue WokeCo. for justice…try to use eminent domain to put China bought farms back in American hands? Kilo vs New London. No right to repair! The left is going so bonkers that they slime the populists like me who understand our vote in gov’t is all that stands in the way of Mammon Mitt and Shkreli who don’t want you to have cheap meds-as punishment for NAFTA’s overturn. Libertarianism is Luciferianism. China masks is how they punished us for Trump! reports mask microplastics are getting into the water. Talib admitted she only wears a mask because she is being watched.

Oh…one more reason Space Force MUST come to ‘Bama? Townhall just reported that the Colorado Hospital System denied organ transplants to those who will not cede bodily control and take whatever is in a syringe they shove in your face.
My state, not Colorado, is a free state and deserves defending.

  • Jeff, it is bipartisan, but not in the nefarious ways you think. Never ascribe to malice what can be explained by a short-sighted desire to “help” you.

We have put men and women on pedestals of government position, forgetting that they are quite subject to the limits of human perception and insight that we all operate under, with both they and us believing that they can solve all our problems FOR us …

… from making meds cheap (in the face of the expressions of the zero-risk mindset known as FDA bureaucrats and Lawsuit Lottery).

… to fostering “economic development” (that leads to the utilitarian misuse of eminent domain we saw with Kelo).

… to saving us from COVID (by Draconian double standards that bring to mind the Vietnam-era phrase “we have to burn down the village to save it.”)

… to compelling businesses to treat us like we want to be treated (and in the process, burden honest businesses with rules to “assure” this).

… all happening with little/zero effort from – and zero risk to – us ordinary folks. Which is a populist way of thinking.

We have centralized decision-making by an elite few, who have come to believe – along with millions of our neighbors – that faceless, industrial approaches and economies of scale can be applied to solve problems with up to 330 million living, breathing INDIVIDUAL variables in this nation alone.

You want to solve the problems you perceive? Getting ordinary people to QUESTION the world around them, then build trust in their own insights and NOT delegate their decisions to others – even if that looks like more risk and effort for them – is essential to diminish the power of The Pedestaled and engage that distributed intellect.

But that means that some of your populist expedience will not be realized – for populism can lead to the same top-down interventions by a myopic government that the Progressives seek to impose.

While I have little use for Libertarian politicians, the principles of small-l libertarian thinking are far closer to what we need, than they are to Lucifer.

I understand your point, which I consider extremely valid, that COVID is not the “killer” it is being sold as. However, to be fair, comparing the number of people whose deaths have been attributed to the virus against those who have contracted the virus is more meaningful than diluting the number by comparing COVID deaths vs total population. Anyone who has not contracted the virus should not be used in an honest calculation of “survival rate”.

“A while ago didn’t the CDC admit that only 6 to 7% of the Covid deaths were from Covid itself and not with Covid but from mainly other causes?”

  • Cliff Henkel

    Dear Robert,

I am confused by the data being discussed. Senator Paul Rand states that 100 million Americans have survived COVID. That figure does not match the total cases recorded since January 03, 2020. Worldometer states, as of October 08 2021, total cases as 45.016 million, deaths 730,155, and recovered as 34.47 million. The last figure I find hard to understand in that there are approximately 10 million people who are still recovering within the last 21 months?

So in reality, where does Dr. (Senator) Rand get his 100 million figure? Irrespective, the statistics are not pandemic proportions; of the population; of the population – deaths = 0.22% of the population have died from COVID, take out 70% CDC figure with comorbidity, 0.066% deaths. Of cases (45 million), deaths = 1.62% of cases, survival rate = 98.38%, and if deduct 70% CDC figures for comorbidity; 0.486% deaths of cases, survival = 99.51%.

It is not a pandemic. It is a bad flu.

I am an Australian, a Conservative, and 73 years old. The World has to wake up and get back to living.

  • Cotour

Many people early on in 2020 and in 2021 in America have had Covid and they did not realize they had it and non of them are officially counted because they never went to the hospital or saw a doctor. Not counted.

I recently had it and I did not see a doctor or go to a hospital. Not counted.

I spoke to a woman today and her husband, herself and her two kids all had Covid. She told me that her husband also got extreme stomach pains and he thought that he might have appendicitice. She would not let him go to the hospital because it was jammed with Covid patients and she was afraid he would die there, alone. Not counted. He recovered.

And most of her friends and their families have had it. Many not counted.

A significant number of people in America have had Covid and they survived and they were not counted. I am sure that there is a statistical calculation that establishes a significant number have had it and were not counted.

Cliff, what is going on in Australia today? I see some crazy video’s of police beating people down if they dare protest being locked down for so long.

What is Australia’s exit strategy? You have been isolated from the world and Covid moving through your population. There is only one way to get out of this and that is to go through it as best prepared as you can be. You can not vaccinate your way around it.

Ah, the road that is paved with good intentions.

We have put men and women on pedestals of government position, forgetting that they are quite subject to the limits of human perception and insight that we all operate under, with both they and us believing that they can solve all our problems FOR us …

The problem solving began under FDR with his New (Raw) Deal, except that the solution actually exacerbated the problem. Then LBJ came along and added more problem solving, such as the war on poverty, and later the war on drugs was added. Neither was solved, but pretty soon the government was at war with many of America’s problems, again not solving them. Now the government is merely at war with its citizens. All the wrong decisions are being made, such as firing healthcare workers when they are needed most. What the hell are these government morons thinking?

Cliff Henkel asked: “where does Dr. (Senator) Rand get his 100 million figure?

From the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) itself. Note that this report is from April 2021:

From February 2020 to March 2021, the CDC estimates 114.6 million Americans were infected with COVID-19, 97.1 million had symptomatic illnesses and 5.6 million were hospitalized with COVID-19.

  • Cliff Henkel: There is a second link in my post to a report earlier this year that documented the 100 million number, through the end of 2020. I suspect that is Paul’s source. I noted that 10 months have passed since then, guaranteeing that it is probably now much higher, possible as much as 180 million (though not confirmed).

  • Gary H

Btw..stating the obvious..comparing deaths to population is the only valid measure available when many Covid infections are without sufficient symptoms to motivate people to get tested.

Also, we all know that Covid deaths come in two flavors, death by Covid and death due to Covid. So, Covid deaths by population provides an inflated result.

There are also a small segment of Covid positives that suffer from long term Covid related symptoms.

  • Edward

    Gary H,
There are even more flavors than that. You need to include death with Wuhan flu (tested positive but died of other cause(s), such as traffic accident — which have on multiple occasions been reported as Wuhan deaths for the federal money that the hospital gets for a Wuhan death), death suspected to be Wuhan (but not confirmed — federal money is an incentive to suspect Wuhan), and death assumed to be Wuhan (again, federal money is an incentive to assume Wuhan).

As you pointed out, the reported number Wuhan deaths in the United States has been corrupted by these kinds of incentives to associate any death with Wuhan, which is why death by regular flu and by pneumonia have dropped to near zero. If our methods to protect against Wuhan had successfully protected us from flu and pneumonia as well as Wuhan, then we wouldn’t have had such a high number of positive tests for Wuhan.

For some reason, the number of deaths reported by the press is higher than the number reported by the CDC, which is the tabulator of the data. To complete your thought, whenever we use the number of deaths in the U.S. in our calculations and arguments, we must keep in mind that this is an inflated and corrupted value. We know that Wuhan flu is not this bad (the U.S. death rate per million people being higher than any other country’s reoprted rate), but because of the nature of the corruption, we cannot calculate, deduce, derive, or find the correct or accurate value.

Which means that even fewer than “almost none” have died from Wuhan flu.

Statistician William Briggs has noted that science in general is becoming increasingly corrupted. It is not just the Wuhan flu or global warming (AKA the coming ice age). Experts have told “noble lies” in order to get us to wear useless masks (breathing in whatever germs were on the many surfaces we laid them onto while we were not wearing them), lock ourselves into our houses (the reason winter is flu season in most states and why Wuhan flu increases during the hot, air-conditioning months in the southern states), and take unapproved vaccines (which have been shown to be deadly).

You won’t find a better example of the hubris of Experts than this. When asked if had any medical or science training to back his false assertions, Becerra replied, “I’ve worked over thirty years on health policy.”

That is the Expertocracy speaking. Memorize this.

Experts do not believe the Argument from Authority is a fallacy. It is instead their mantra. Do you think Becerra will acknowledge this mistakes after this dressing down?

No. He will insist he is right because he has Authority. His will is de facto law. All the proof he needs.

    [emphasis in original]

If we allow the “experts” to tell us “noble lies” in order to get us to do the “right thing” rather than tell us the truth in order to do the right thing, then how do we know that what we do is right? In the case of Wuhan, the lies caused us to do things that were counterproductive to a healthy society, and the lie about how many people died from Wuhan flu was part of what convinced us to do things that caused even more deaths — Wuhan should not have been as bad in the U.S. as it was. In the case of global warming, we are not doing enough, but our lack of action has resulted in no difference. What temperature increase and ocean rise did they say would happen between 2000 and 2100, and now that we are 1/5th of the way to the end of the century, are we 1/5th of the way to these increases?

Their “noble lies” try to get us to do as the experts wish, but it turns out that their wishes either make no difference or are worse than useless. Our experts do not have our best interests in mind but instead have their own.

  • Andrew_W

Edward: the U.S. death rate per million people being higher than any other country’s reoprted rate

I’m not sure if you mean per million of population or per million cases, but either way that claim is wrong, many countries have higher Covid death rates than the US.

Once A.I. gains more and more influence in lets say how votes are counted, and who controls it (If it is in fact controllable), life as we all understand it and freedom are all over.

This is the moment in time when things have the potential to turn on a dime. For the good or the bad remains to be seen.

  • Cotour

Where is there hope? Where is there sanity? Where is their freedom? Who is leading the way in America?

Dave has the brilliant comedy mind, freedom and “Phornicate you” kind of money to take the lead in the “Politically correct” Hollywood media and on this subject.

(PS: Don’t tell anyone but, Dave is black. What will the “Progressive” and “politically correct” Liberal / Leftists do with that?)

Life is funny, the universe and by extension, God has a funny and ironic sense of humor.

    One more: (White Canadian)

All said and summed up in 30 seconds, that is what all of this boils down to.

  • Andrew_W

Questioner: you have a good knowledge of this stuff. Is this information correct and also today valid?

What makes Flat Earth conspiracy theories ridiculous is not just that the science is so well established, it’s that millions of people around the world would need to be in on – and fail to expose – the conspiracy.
    The same applies to this:
The use of PCR tests for covid illness diagnosis is a global scientific fraud, since no PCR instrument can produce quantitative results that might indicate a specific viral load.
To be believed requires a belief that millions of people are in on the deception.

Here’s an explanation of the methodology we use here:

In NZ we’ve done 3.6 million tests with just a few thousand positive, PCR has been used extensively cross the whole country with positive results happening in clusters, mostly in Auckland, and with detectable chains of transmission between those clusters, people within those clusters are the only people having clinical covid symptoms (NZ and Australia, like many other countries, have had influenza eliminated as a by-product of strategies to fight covid), if PCR was not giving reliable results, false positive test results would be popping up randomly throughout the country, not sticking to a tiny fraction of the population in a few suburbs including people who have had contact with those associations at known locations, with only occasional cases outside of those suburbs. Those other cases also explainable because individuals with subsequent positive PCR results (and who are usually later symptomatic) have been traced in their journeys.

The NZ experience with PCR is basically the same as that of many other countries.

The rate of false positive testing has been very low, it would require a massive conspiracy for the bits to fit together if things were otherwise, and the NZ government just isn’t that clever, apparently some think that the US government is.

How about the BBC, Andrew W?

How much “Conspiracy” must exist for Dr. John Campbell to be set off? Even Dr. Campbell sees it, that is how overt and blatant it has become in their desperation.

Government agencies, specifically in America, as well as big pharma, as well as big tech, who is now the ultimate arbiter of what anyone can see, hear, say and do have mislead and at times lied to the public. That is my conclusion based on what I have seen all throughout this pandemic event.

At some level they are all misleading or without doubt lying. And they are doing so in pursuit of a generally agreed upon agenda. That is also my conclusion.

Remember, there are no conspiracies, and there are no coincidences.

  • Cotour, it is relatively easy for our elite to enter into a “generally agreed upon agenda” … and for millions to check their brains at the door and accept it … if it gets framed in the proper terms.

Such as “if it saves one life” … or “why are you against science” … or “why do you hate the (insert designated victim here)?”

Our emotional aversion to finding ourselves on the wrong side of these assertions, opens the door to destructive agendas.

  • Andrew_W

Cotour, there no doubt are real conspiracies, there are also absurd conspiracy theories, absurd because they require massive numbers of people to cooperate for the conspiracy to work, and usually the purpose of the supposed conspiracy is obscure.
The Earth is an oblate spheroid,
NASA did land 12 astronauts on the moon,
Al Qaeda conspired to crash 4 passenger aircraft into the WTC the Pentagon and another building – George Bush junior and the US military were not participants.

However, I hear good things about Bob Woodward’s latest book ‘Peril’.

  • Cotour

I believe Woodward wrote it himself.

Lets define what we are speaking of: Conspiracy a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful.

Clearly, there is a Left leaning agenda being executed in an organized manner based in politics and the interests of a group of people, organizations in the private sector and in government to reorganize the world and how it operates and who dominates it. Would you agree with that statement?

  • Andrew_W

there is a Left leaning agenda being executed in an organized manner based in politics and the interests of a group of people, organizations in the private sector and in government to reorganize the world and how it operates and who dominates it. Would you agree with that statement?

No. There are billions of people acting individually to their own ends, some of those people are politically minded and they often join political parties and push for the changes that in their eyes would make the world a better place. Some of those people are left of center politically, others are right of center.

  • Questioner

The Austrian Chancellor Kurz has resigned. The first of these installed puppets is gone (Kurz was also in the Young Global Leaders program of the World Economic Forum as so many).

  • Cotour

Sir, you are not paying attention.

I would make a modification to the definition of “Conspiracy”.

This is not a secret conspiracy, this conspiracy is right in front of all our eyeballs, they actually tell you what they intend. Do you not believe them?

And “them” are the Leftists throughout all governments, those who belong to the World Economic Forum, those who attend Davos, those who inhabit big tech and who are now the arbiter of what can be known and shared, etc, etc.

“They” made a little commercial for you to watch to understand what they intend for not you, but those who will come after you and I.

Do you not believe them when they tell you in there own words?

  • Cotour

Chancellor Kurz is gone, and in time there will be someone to take his place.

These true believers are moving the Globalist ball forward.

Time passes and they move the ball forward again. And again.

Would you consider the flooding of the U.S.’s Southern border a conspiracy? It is being executed from Washington D.C. and facilitated by Leftist NGO’s in order to secure the Democrat numbers and votes in perpetuity.

Conspiracy? Policy? Sounds like they are synonyms to me. When policy is executed that is clearly against the interests of the country and its sovereignty, is that policy or conspiracy?

  • Andrew_W

This is not a secret conspiracy, this conspiracy is right in front of all our eyeballs, they actually tell you what they intend.

    Then it’s not a conspiracy.
There is no Left leaning agenda being executed in an organized manner as I interpret your meaning of “organized”, which is that it’s somehow a more organized movement than is typical of others on the political spectrum.

  • Andrew_W

The drift to the left, as left is usually defined, has been going on for hundreds of years and is explained by Wagner’s law, as we become wealthier there’s less resistance to do-goodism and government growth, it’s in our nature as social animals, so the trends we see are not top down, they’re bottom up.

  • Cotour

Your right, there is no conspiracy:

You had just better have the correct political alignment and say and do the correct things that it mandates.

Your right, there is no conspiracy.

There is no conspiracy, there is no conspiracy,……………….there is NO conspiracy.

You can call it what ever you like.

  • Andrew_W

    From your link:
“[The site] cancelled my campaign because they are weak, afraid to push back, and are unwilling to reach out to the very people running campaigns they shut down because of hysterical Chardonnay Antifa or the Loudoun Schools Equity Committee,” Mineo told the Daily Caller.

That’s about right, there’s undoubtedly a young leftist woke section of US society that has more influence than their numbers warrant. Squeeky wheel and all that, I think there’s currently a faddish element about it that’ll see their cause weaken over the next few years, especially outside of the US where people are generally more sane.

  • Cotour

Do you understand how key it is to have a strong United States in the world Andrew W?

We may appear insane now and then, no doubt. But the world without a strong America, what exactly is that world like in your estimation?

Better? Worse? More hopeful? Less hopeful? More fair and equal? less fair and equal? And believe me I can go through the many instances where morality has been throw out the window in the interests of the most powerful in our government and their agenda. And still, what would the world be without that dominance?

Who would you prefer? The U.N.? Communist China? Russia? The E.U.? I can only imagine. All even more corrupt the we are.

There is without doubt a concerted effort by a powerful segment of the most powerful on the planet to remove the U.S.A from the dominant position in the world. You may call that what ever you like.

But like you say, there is no conspiracy.

  • Andrew_W

You appear to be projecting onto me beliefs and opinions that I do not hold. The US exists and that’s great.
There is without doubt a concerted effort by a powerful segment of the most powerful on the planet to remove the U.S.A from the dominant position in the world.

How powerful a country is is largely predicated on the size of its population times it’s economic output. China is certainly trying to increase its economic out put, and has a large population. The French and Germans appear to be trying to turn the EU into a country, which would have a larger population and similar economic size to the US, many LDC’s are growing their populations and economics faster than the US. As a result the US contribution to global GDP has declined from a third to a fifth over the last 60 years, so certainly we’re seeing a decline of the US global hegemony.

Is that what you’re referring to? That’s not a conspiracy against the US.

  • Cotour

My belief is that their is an “Open” conspiracy on the Left that usurps the Democratic process.

But this is political warfare and it is to be expected.

But lets not deny that it is underway and or being attempted.

  • Cotour

    To my point:

“That COVID-19 escaped from the Wuhan lab went from a “fringeconspiracy theory” to one of the leading explanations for the pandemic in record time. Every couple of weeks it seems that there’s a new piece of evidence supporting the theory, and Dr. Stephen Quay laid out the case in his explosive but underreported Wall Street Journal article titled “Science Closes in on Covid’s Origins,” while arguing that a virus far more dangerous may be in that lab.”

Not every fringe conspiracy theory is fringe.

    It is what it is.

    Its all related.

  • Andrew_W

It’s possible that the virus escaped from the lab. That China and others lied, that’s not a global conspiracy requiring the involvement of millions, so it’s plausible.

  • Cotour

Here is another example of the Lefts non conspiracy / conspiracies:

“NYC policy to not prosecute shoplifters leaves drug store shelves empty at CVS, Duane Reade and Walgreens”

Leftists installed by people like Soros in the many prosecutor and mayoral positions throughout the country who amazingly do not prosecute crimes. Does that happen through coincidence? From Seattle to Portland to San Francisco, to Chicago, to St. Louis, to New York.

You must however recognize their organization and commitment though.

Coincidence? Or an organized movement intended to destabilize in the name of “Equality”.

Is what it appears to be, because that is what it is. And anyone who chooses not to see it for what it is is willfully ignorant and a danger to themselves and others.

  • wayne

    “Let’s Go Brandon!”
(and, the horse he road in on…)

  • Andrew_W

The trend to not prosecute “minor” crimes is not a conspiracy, it’s laziness, it’s the lack of glory in getting a conviction, it’s the increasing cost of prosecution and the excuses created in the legal system that are used to aquit or make evidence inadmissible, it’s the increasingly forgiving attitude of many people towards criminals, that they’re supposedly victims as well.
Once thieves had their hands removed to dissuade them from thieving, we don’t do that anymore because there’s no stomach for it among the general public.

  • Questioner

    Cotour and Andrew_W:

Here is some material to think about. Question: Why does Elon Musk want to expand this broken society to a large deadly rock (called Mars)?

“Money – Decadence: The Meaninglessness of Modern Life”

Six part television documentary series commissioned by SBS Independent and produced by Fork Films (2001).
The series examines the decadence and meaninglessness of modern, western life.
The series is hosted by Pria Viswalingam,

Money – Decadence: The Meaninglessness of Modern Life
God – Decadence: The Meaninglessness of Modern Life
Education – Decadence: The Meaninglessness of Modern Life
Democracy – Decadence: The Meaninglessness of Modern Life
Family – Decadence: The Meaninglessness of Modern Life
Sex – Decadence: The Meaninglessness of Modern Life

  • The trend to not prosecute “minor” crimes is not a conspiracy, it’s laziness, it’s the lack of glory in getting a conviction, it’s the increasing cost of prosecution and the excuses created in the legal system that are used to aquit or make evidence inadmissible, it’s the increasingly forgiving attitude of many people towards criminals, that they’re supposedly victims as well.

Andrew, that is also based in the hubris of our elite few, that personal responsibility – like societal authority – is a function of pocket depth and/or height of position, where designated victims should get a pass on the former … but only the elite few should be “burdened” with the latter.

And not just in terms of crime … this hubris is a driver in issue after issue, from the welfare state to the Climate Change Cult to the idea that parents should not have the primary voice regarding their children’s education.

The root of nearly all flavors of “conspiracy” today is that hubris, that leads the elite few to believe that, in the name of their definition of the “common good” and the perception of their superiority to everyone else, have the justification to lord it over everyone else … and that belief, as C. S. Lewis noted in his oft-quoted take on busybodies, is resistant to checks and balances because consciences are numbed to their offense to others by the appearance of doing good for others.

But the actual, intentional, directed collusion in these conspiracies is very limited in its scope and power – until it reaches into our culture, both popular and institutional.

There, that hubris acts much like the neutron source used in a nuclear weapon … it initiates a societal chain reaction that reinforces both the hubris and the derivative decisions, by leveraging the (often, unearned) respect we extend to the Pedestaled Elite – and the human desire to dissuade others from thinking badly of us – to get everyone else “on the same page” on an issue, even if it is a page unworthy of crayon application by a toddler.

These conspiracies are far smaller than they appear … it is the chain reaction among people who short-sell their own common sense, that turns them into gigantic lemming parades. Without that short-selling, these conspiracies would die in the atmosphere of individual liberty.

Our leaders, and our problems, are a reflection of US and our own lack of confidence in our insights and common sense, as ordinary people.

As Pogo put it long ago, we have met the enemy, and he is us.

  • Cotour

“The trend to not prosecute “minor” crimes is not a conspiracy, it’s laziness, ”

It is clearly an agreed upon Leftist agenda that is promoted by the Sorosian’s put in their positions by Soros and his funds and it is supposed to be rectifying the fact that there are more black young men in jail than white. They are there to do a job.

The only thing that this agenda has accomplished? It has caused the massive amount of shootings and deaths in all major Democrat controlled cities in the country. Well done.–~D

I clearly point this entire growing Leftist agenda several years ago upon watching a documentary called: “Seattle Is Dying”.

Go to Youtube and spend the time and watch it, it is disturbing, soak it in and properly understand what you are commenting on.

This goes directly to my point:

    Conspiracy? You tell me.

“George Soros funding a new wave of radically lenient district attorneys across America to remake its justice system at the county level sounds like a right-wing conspiracy theory, but it’s true. He explained why he was going to do it in his recent book In Defense of Open Society. His commitment to the program was announced by the ACLU in 2015. And the financial record of the endeavor has been tracked by dozens of news outlets over the past several years.”

I predicted when these “Vaccines” were first rolled out so quickly and untested to not be so eager to take credit for them. And that was directed at Trump directly. Is this failure in CDC / FDA fiduciary responsibilities going to be used against Trump if he runs once again for president? Bet on it.
