Moderna CEO admits to past lies: “COVID is simply the flu, harmless to the healthy.”

On October 17, 2022 during a news conference, Stéphane Bancel, the CEO of the drug company Moderna, made the following statement about COVID, the so-called plague that allowed his company (and others) to make billions pushing their jabs on a terrified public:
“I think it’s going to be like the flu. If you’re a 25-year-old, do you need an annual booster every year if you’re healthy?
“You might want to… but I think it’s going to be similar to flu where it’s going to be people at high-risk, people above 50 years of age, people with comorbidities, people with cancer and other conditions, people with transplants.”
Gee, where I have heard these exact words for the past two-plus years? Could it have been on this very same webpage, said by me as well as numerous other cool-headed experts who — rather than panicking — looked at the actual data? From my first detailed post about COVID in March 2020, using all the early real data:
The death rate is mostly confined to the older population with already existing health issues, like the flu.
This early conclusion was later confirmed again and again in the months that followed. From September 2020, for example, in citing CDC data I wrote:
The Wuhan virus killed you only if you had an average of slightly less than three serious chronic health conditions. And generally you had to be elderly, with the average age of death 78 years old. Otherwise, just like the flu you might have been sick for a few days, but you would have recovered and been able to go on with your life as normal. This data once again demonstrates that the masks, the shut downs, and the economic disaster were all unnecessary.
I of course was hardly the loudest voice, or the only one. Many others with much greater expertise than I kept saying the same thing. All were pilloryed, doxed, blackballed, and censored for saying so. “How dare you? You are killing grampa by not panicking! You should be burned at the stake!”
Nor is Bancel the only drug company executive walking back the early claims. Watch this short video from European Parliament member Robert Roos. Pfizer executive Janine Small admits that the company never tested its jab to see if it could stop transmission. They had no idea if it could do this at all.
And yet, Pfizer teamed up with mostly Democratic Party politicians to claim for two years that the jab would protect you entirely from COVID, an utter lie. And the ugliness of this lie is made worse when you see the viciousness in which these people demanded everyone get jabbed. Consider this compilation of Joe Biden statements:

Not only do these people demand everyone get jabbed, they say so with an utter contempt and hate for anyone who dares disagrees with them. These bullies were so convinced that they were right, based on nothing, that they even made getting the jab mandatory, or you would lose your job.

Their lies caused the politicians to panic as well, imposing insane and useless lockdowns plus mask and social distancing mandates that accomplished nothing to stop the Wuhan flu but destroyed thousands of lives and businesses and careers.
And none of this includes the blacklisting that went on against anyone who raised reasonable questions about this panic.
These thugs did great harm. They should face some consequences for their immoral, irresponsible, and dishonest behavior. And if they do not, the harm to our civilization will be far more long-lasting and deep than any of the foolish specific policies and lies put forth during the Wuhan panic. It will be wounded at its very core, with no chance to heal.

What a weird statement. Science does not help understand what is taking place in the market. At best it could have been used to measure how the faux vaccines were working in the general population, but scientific studies were not performed, so science had nothing to do with the market.
Before it was released into the market, however, they performed some studies, but they were performed faster than the speed of science, and either these studies failed to show the adverse affects or the manufacturers refused to release that data. This data was crucial information for making informed decisions on getting the jab.
From the second video, and from Let’s Go Brandon’s own mouth: “Fully vaccinated people are at a very, very low risk of getting COVID19.”
This is the very same Brandon who caught Wuhan flu despite being a fully vaccinated person, and his wife caught it, too. Many of the jabbed people around me have tested positive. So much for low risk.
You may have thought that we didn’t trust government before, but we definitely don’t trust them anymore. Ten years after nationalizing heathcare (the activity, not the companies), government murdered tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) through their cluster fiasco reaction to the Wuhan flu, and it destroyed our economy and society.

This has all been such a SS. Another friend(the 5th one, my age) of mine just died and I am certain it was not a heart attack but clot shot since he had recently had the 4th “booster”. I took a lot of crap from him about masks and shots and held my ground. If I didn’t? I might have been burying my 22 yo son because he did have a heart issue before this “pandemic”. This is a wildly dishonest article. First, Stéphane Bancel did not say the words that the author put in quotation marks and attributed to him. He was talking about the rationale for getting, or not getting, a booster. He said it’s “a bit like the flu” in the following way: If you’re 25 and healthy, and you don’t get a flu shot, you’re “highly unlikely” to die if you get the flu. Covid is “similar to” flu in that way. If you’re young, healthy and unvaccinated and you get Covid, it isn’t likely to kill you.
But he also emphasizes that among those who get Covid, the unvaccinated are much more likely than the vaccinated to require hospitalization, and more likely to die. That is a fact confirmed by reams of statistical data from multiple countries.
In short, there is nothing new in this interview. He doe not “admit to past lies.” This is not an Emily Litella moment. And he clearly does not say that Covid is “simply the flu,” nor does he say that it is “harmless to the healthy.”

I have absolutely zero problems nationalizing Moderna and rendering Bancel offshore, so he can be interrogated for the rest of his life.
It is amazing that RZ calls the CEO a liar (which means he does not believe what he says, not that it may be wrong), but then misquotes him and clearly misrepresents what the CEO actually communicated.
I don’t think RZ is himself a liar, but on this subject of the original virus lethality his comments are often delusions. At the very least he should correct the misquote in the header and withdraw the liar comment unless RZ can specifically prove the incorrect statement and the CEO’s state of belief.
I just now saw a customer / friend that I have not seen since before the beginning of Covid, and he works for the U.N.
And of course we spoke about Covid and the goings on related to it, and he told me something I found very, very interesting.
The U.N. had *NO* “vaccine” mandate for their employees whatsoever. You could do as you pleased.
He chose to receive the shot plus boosters, but there was no apparent attempt by the U.N. to force anyone in that organization to have an experimental mRNA drug put in their bodies. They had CHOICE.
