Readers! A November fund-raising drive!

It is unfortunately time for another November fund-raising campaign to support my work here at Behind the Black. I really dislike doing these, but 2025 is so far turning out to be a very poor year for donations and subscriptions, the worst since 2020. I very much need your support for this webpage to survive.

And I think I provide real value. Fifteen years ago I said SLS was garbage and should be cancelled. Almost a decade ago I said Orion was a lie and a bad idea. As early as 1998, long before almost anyone else, I predicted in my first book, Genesis: The Story of Apollo 8, that private enterprise and freedom would conquer the solar system, not government. Very early in the COVID panic and continuing throughout I noted that every policy put forth by the government (masks, social distancing, lockdowns, jab mandates) was wrong, misguided, and did more harm than good. In planetary science, while everyone else in the media still thinks Mars has no water, I have been reporting the real results from the orbiters now for more than five years, that Mars is in fact a planet largely covered with ice.

I could continue with numerous other examples. If you want to know what others will discover a decade hence, read what I write here at Behind the Black. And if you read my most recent book, Conscious Choice, you will find out what is going to happen in space in the next century.

This last claim might sound like hubris on my part, but I base it on my overall track record.

So please consider donating or subscribing to Behind the Black, either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. I could really use the support at this time. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation. Takes about a 10% cut.

3. A Paypal Donation or subscription, which takes about a 15% cut:

4. Donate by check. I get whatever you donate. Make the check payable to Robert Zimmerman and mail it to

Black Lives Matter co-founder advocates black supremacy and genocide of whites

Apparently the co-founder of the Toronto chapter of Black Lives Matter has repeatedly advocated black supremacy and the genocide of whites.

One example at the link:

“[I]nfact, white skin is sub-humxn. [sic]” The post goes on to present a genetics-based argument centered on melanin and enzyme. “white ppl are recessive genetic defects. this is factual,” the post reads towards the end. “white ppl need white supremacy as a mechanism to protect their survival as a people because all they can do is produce themselves. black ppl simply through their dominant genes can literally wipe out the white race if we had the power to.”

Read the whole thing, including the comments that support this person’s position. The worse thing is that, despite the fact that this is not unusual rhetoric from the various black activists groups and that it doesn’t take much research to learn this, too many people refuse to recognize it. These people are not only violent and filled with hate, they are gathering together and gaining power. Nor does it take much thought to guess what they’d like to do with that power.

The problem is that you have to think about it.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The print edition can be purchased at Amazon or from any other book seller. If you want an autographed copy the price is $60 for the hardback and $45 for the paperback, plus $8 shipping for each. Go here for purchasing details. The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

White American should support political measures in order to avoid genocide of whites in USA. The most important taks of this century. Same is true in Europe.

We can’t forget the other phony radical ethnic front-group, The National Council of La Raza (The Race) and their “Reconquista” movement.

So much for the musings of the likes of the “Libertarians” like Andrew W that Black Lives Matters is not violent.

I still say its growing up upside down on the other side of the earth that creates the problem.

As an old white guy I’m hopeful because many black folks get it. I can trust my life in their hands.

Curios how the person claiming superiority is unable to spell or to use proper capitalization. Perhaps being correct is beneath her superhumanity.

I didn’t know Toronto had so many racial problems.

    Canadians are so nice.

I am starting to think that racial problems are mostly imagined and made up.

But I guess when your whole existence is wrapped up in your race you tend to think every offense is racial and depending on your own attitude is how intense the offense is perceived.

Sort of like race rage instead of road rage.

Correct, they have been flying under the radar lately, along with CAIR. These are all racial-arsonist organizations which thrive on outrage and hate while at the same time claiming to be the victims of hate…

I had a friend and former co-worker who is black who moved to Calif. a few years ago. We stayed in touch but during Obama’s second election he started to spout all of the “victimization” talking points and was so obnoxious about it that I finally had to block him. Prior to his move to the Left coast, he never had shown even a hint that he felt victimized in any way.

    Steve–
Yes– can’t forget CAIR. -They have infiltrated the State Department and remain to this day. Some are political appointee’s and the rest are Civil servants and can’t be fired. (Obama had 8 years to install these people.)
-Look up the “Holy land Foundation Trial;” CAIR was tagged as unindicted co-conspirators.
    It’s a Hamas front-group.
And let us not forget Huma Abedin Weiner– she’s completely Muslim Brotherhood up to her eyeballs.
