Boiling water on Mars
Scientists now think that the dark streaks they see seasonally develop on Martian slopes are caused when frozen underground water brine is exposed to the atmosphere so that the water boils off, leaving the salt.

It’s interesting that while some people do actual science to understand what’s going on, others just shout, “We said water first!”, as if making a statement about something that’s probable is the equivalent of scientific research.
