My February birthday fund-raising campaign for this website, Behind the Black, is now over. Despite a relatively weak initial three weeks, the last week was spectacular, making this campaign the second best ever.

Thanks to every person who donated or subscribed. It continues to astonish me that people who can read my work for free like it enough to donate money voluntarily. Words cannot express my appreciation for that support, especially in these uncertain times.

If you have been a regular reader and a fan of my work and have not yet donated or subscribed, please consider doing so. I take no ads, I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands (most of the time). Thus, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

3. A Paypal Donation:

4. A Paypal subscription:

5. Donate by check, payable to Robert Zimmerman and mailed to

Today’s blacklisted American: Doctor fired for refusing vaccine

The modern dark age: Mollie James, an ICU doctor working jobs in hospitals in both St. Louis and New York, was forced to leave her hospital practices because she refused to get vaccinated against COVID because she already had natural immunity.

From the Nebraska AG report
The Nebraska AG’s doubts about remdesirvir.

In addition, James was also forced out because she researched the use of ivermectin, tried it on her patients, and found it beneficial. Her desire to prescribe it to her sick patients however was blocked by her hospitals, who insisted instead that she prescribe remdesivir, an anti-viral drug that the government pays a premium for hospitals to use, but has been shown to be of doubtful benefit [see screen capture to the right].

“When I was able to properly dose and use ivermectin in an ICU patient, I saw the fastest turnaround of any patient out of probably a couple thousand that I’ve treated,” James said. “When you have administrators telling physicians what medications they can prescribe, or how to counsel patients regarding interventions or telling them not to do something they believe is in the patient’s best interest, I think doctors have an obligation to leave those situations.”

Dr. Clay Dunagan, the head of the St. Louis Metropolitan Pandemic Task Force, looked into James’ claims but said there are better treatment options available. “It’s conceivable that ivermectin has some impact early in the disease but it’s not really something we should be using. We have other drugs that are more effective,” he said.

Dunagan said early data shows ivermectin doesn’t make much of a difference and he believes remdesivir, an anti-viral drug, along with other steroids benefit patients more.

James said the decision should be between a patient and their doctor.

The vaccine mandate, combined with the hospital administration’s requirements on what drugs she could or could not prescribe, forced her back into private practice, where she is now accepting patients nationwide by telecom.

First, that these hospitals now reject the greater strength of natural immunity suggests a complete ignorance of of centuries of medical research into infectious diseases. All research, including what has been done now with COVID-19, has shown repeatedly that if you get a disease and recover, your immune system is always going to protect you better than any artificially created vaccine. To not consider natural immunity as a form of protection is to reject more than three hundred years of scientific research.

I also think it important that my readers do a very close review of the Nebraska attorney general’s report on the use by doctors of ivermectin and other drugs. It is very detailed, well documented, and shows that the nonchalant rejection of ivermectin by most government health officials in the United States — such as by Dunagan above — is very close-minded and short-sighted.

In fact, their policies are so close-minded and short-sighted that these hospitals chose to terminate a doctor they had depended on reliably throughout the worst parts of the epidemic over the last 20 months, rather than reconsider those policies.

Do not be surprised if these health officials begin to wave talismans in the air to ward off evil spirits. Oh wait. They have already been doing that with masks!

The dark age is truly here.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Loyalty is a two-way street. The doctors and nurses showed loyalty to their hospitals when they risked life and health in treating patients during the uncertain times of the Wuhan flu, but now that we have (but fail to use) proven low-cost treatments (therapeutics) and apply a one-size-fits-all solution to Wuhan, the hospitals have shown a complete lack of loyalty to their doctors and nurses. Obamacare has turned out to be a complete cluster let’s (as in Let’s Go Brandon!). As feared, Obamacare is less interested in providing patient protection and affordable care but is more interested in being corrupted into a tool to enforce compliance to government policies, dictates, and decrees.

No wonder no one trusts the faux vaxxines or any government health advisory. The government has proved that it is not loyal to We the People. Our health does not matter to the government, only our obedience.

Welcome to Obama’s fundamentally transformed America, land of the formerly free.

Whenever government gets to mandate what is used, it leads to corruption of officials by business.

A friend’s in-laws both felt sick so they went to the hospital and tested positive for COVID. They gave them an IV and sent them home with some Tylenol. A week later his father-in-law was still sick so they sedated him and put him on a ventilator. A few days after that he was dead.

Think how many people the government/medical establishment have killed.

A shortcut to the Nebraska AG’s report on early Covid treatment (and the vilification thereof) is:

This letter should be widely distributed.

It illustrates how the media, pharma and government colluded in interfering with the doctor-patient relationship for their own selfish political, ideological and financial reasons.
