Unnamed healthcare officials admit that the Obama administration specifically wrote the Obamacare regulations so that millions would have to lose their healthcare plan.
He lied: Unnamed healthcare officials admit that the Obama administration specifically wrote the Obamacare regulations so that millions would have to lose their healthcare plan.
Buried in Obamacare regulations from July 2010 is an estimate that because of normal turnover in the individual insurance market, “40 to 67 percent” of customers will not be able to keep their policy. And because many policies will have been changed since the key date, “the percentage of individual market policies losing grandfather status in a given year exceeds the 40 to 67 percent range.”
That means the administration knew that more than 40 to 67 percent of those in the individual market would not be able to keep their plans, even if they liked them.
Yet President Obama, who had promised in 2009, “if you like your health plan, you will be able to keep your health plan,” was still saying in 2012, “If [you] already have health insurance, you will keep your health insurance.”
These regulations were written in the executive branch, which is the complete responsibility of Obama. So, the agency he controls wrote regulations they knew would force the cancellation of millions of healthcare plans, and Obama went around the country lying about it. It is as simple as that.
But remember! Obama and the Democrats forced a government shutdown so Obamacare would go into effect now. Shouldn’t we all be grateful?

Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. Your support allows me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.
In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.

Obama, please spare yourself and this country any further obfuscations and shell games….just rip un the Constitution, declare yourself Emperor and exclaim, “So it be written, so it be done.”
Poof..the total fundamental transformation of this country, sooner rather than later, thereby sparing us your tedious mental reservation, plausible deniability and blame.
It is not enough to impeach this president, he needs to resign! President Obama has subverted the intentional design of the constitution purposefully and has no respect for its intent, he said he was going to fundamentally change this country and he meant it.
We might wish him to resign, or be impeached, but those are fantasies. Neither is going to happen. Better that we focus on the next election where the voters can fire as many of the perpetrators of this healthcare law as possible. The more of these politicians who get thrown out, the less likely a real power grab will happen by those in power.
And we might get Obamacare repealed at that point. We also might get enough people in power who sincerely wish to cut government spending, not fake it like many present-day Republicans.
That would be great- but I fear many are still enamored of him, and would still vote to continue his policies through these extremist Democrats.
We needed a Carter to get a Reagan, but your guess is as good as mine on whom Obama will get us. The recent lineup of presidential candidates has not exactly been confidence-inspiring.
Yup.

This is a big story too. Why is the Obama administration manipulating the press, why does the press let Obama dictate what they can and cant print, and what did Obama offer or threaten in exchange for removing the story?
Whom ever communicates their belief in and philosophy in the Constitution. That is who it must be.
Your from Arizona, when are you and your fellow Arizonians going to retire J. McCain? He’s got to go.
“… but I fear many are still enamored of him, and would still vote to continue his policies through these extremist Democrats.”
This suggests that we need a fundamental transformation of the attitude of the American people. Right now we, as a collective, seem to be enamored with “free stuff” (including healthcare), even though we must remain poor in order to receive that free stuff (ironically, those on the receiving end are the same people who become jealous of those well-off enough to pay for that free stuff).
We need a return to a time when the American people’s attitude was that they deserved the stuff that they earned, not the stuff that other people earned. We need to return to a time when the American people could keep what they earned, including their healthcare plans.
It is through that earning that we become wealthy and prosperous, individually and as a nation.
Probably around the same time we retire Sheriff Joe Arpaio here in Phoenix. They stick around like Fidel Castro. Term limits really need to catch on more, and would certainly be a start to fixing our nation’s problems. They wouldn’t insure great replacements, but at least we wouldn’t be stuck hearing the same fools yammer daily for life. Just imagine, no more Pelosi, Reid, McConnell, or a slew of others who’ve been in office for decades!
