June 18, 2021 Zimmerman/Batchelor podcast
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Bob,
I cannot figure out WHERE we go to see the pictures John Bachelor is always OOOing and AAAAing about!!! I always want to go to your website and view them, Please help. Thank you!
Long time listener,
Dave Wier
Dave Wier: I am baffled by your question. All you have to do is go to Behind the Black’s main page:
https://behindtheblack.com/
You can also reach that url by simply clicking on the banner image at the top of every post or by clicking on the menu at the top of the page and clicking on “Home,” things you do on almost all websites.
You then simply scroll down. I guarantee you will see everything.
I should add that you can also use the search box on the webpage (located in the right column at both the top and bottom) to search for “cool image.” That’ll get you a lot, right off the bat.
SN-15 & 16 on each side of the front gate or on each side of the Starbase sign. Keep them shiny & they will dazzle all visitors.
Bob, all the cool kids are waiting for you to create a video channel of your posts on Rumble. And you don’t even have to shoot video. You could just use the pictures from your post and do a voice over. You could string together 3 existing posts of cool Mars pictures for example. That way you could make some extra cash, and we could share posts with our nieces and nephews who mainly look at video news on their phones. Yes I know it’s sad the youngsters don’t want to go to a website and actually read. But it is the way of the world now. Remember, RUMBLE wants you! (And they won’t censor you)
Mark: Thank you for the kind words and encouragement. Doing what you suggest however would be far more work than I presently have time for, as much as I might want to do it.
