Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Maricopa County election board defies state subpoenas

And they expect the public to trust them? The election board of Maricopa County has decided to defy the subpoenas issued by the state’s legislature for getting a full audit of its election results, and will instead file a lawsuit against those legislators.

It seems to me that if there was nothing wrong with the Dominion tabulators and the count, than the board would welcome this audit. That they are stonewalling it is if anything evidence that there is likely something they are hiding.

We have now reached the Rubicon. Are our elected officials truly in charge, or are they to be ordered around by unelected bureaucrats like mere serfs? If the state legislature and the governor does not act here, then they are no more than figureheads, and we are now ruled by fiat, by the bureaucracy. Arizona does not have a democracy ruled by law any longer.

Your support allows me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.

In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.

Your help allows me to do this kind of intelligent analysis. I take no advertising or sponsors, so my reporting isn't influenced by donations by established space or drug companies. The legislators need to beat the crap out of the Maricopa election board till they cough up the evidence of fraud…and blood.

  • Steve

Without the Rule of Law we revert to a State of Nature where we all decide right and wrong ourselves and proceed accordingly. Politicians and Bereaucrats better hope not, for their sakes.

  • tommylotto

The GOP dominated AZ legislature merely has to notify the election board that if they do not comply immediately, the legislature will take back its constitutional prerogative to allocate AZ’s electors and award them to Trump. It is not difficult unless you are unwilling to exercise the power delegated to you by the Constitution.

  • Georg Felis

You know, if they’re trying to look like they’re not perpetuating a fraud, they might try… Oh, I don’t know… Not acting like it?

  • Elina Sorjan

Whatever was on those machines has long been replaced with something innocuous — and this is just another ruse to keep the chaos going long enough and when forced to hand over the items and nothing is found, to crow about it.

No-one will remember the refusal, and even if they do, nothing was found, mmkay?

You should learn how to spell “Then”.

  • Bob Dobbs: Thank you for noting the typo. Fixed.

    Elina Sorjan:

I will assume that if the machines are “adjusted” after the fact that that would be able to be clearly seen.

And in doing so would indicate that what was being looked for was removed and there in is a criminal act and evidence of fraud and manipulation of the vote. No?

  • It makes you wonder who the state police work for. Apparently NOBODY works for “The Prople”

  • pzatchok

The only way a computer can remember if it was manipulated is if is programed to remember that action.
    Like a key stroke program.
If I could get into the software, which is easy once I have access to the actual machine, then I can even change the ‘memory’ software to tell you anything,

The only way to keep an unalterable bit if memory would be to make a physical add on that records everything on its own and can then only be read by a special reader that was only available to the state audit board.

  • I certainly hope that the next time someone in Maricopa County is charged with a crime, they ignore the warrant, and sue law enforcement. Is that the message here, or am I missing something?

  • gmmay70

Come on, folks. It’s totally natural for people to cover up their innocence.

Elina Sorjan You maybe right but this delay might indicate that work is yet to be done. Chain of custody is broken is my bet. In order to tamper now, my bet is there is an Epstein like event to happen.

How many names are on the flights to Epstein’s island? Will we ever know?

A little waterboarding would reveal everything.

If these people are appointed, name them. Then we can show up at their homes, offices, etc. And shame them forever. If the left can get away doing this to the average citizen then it is time for we of Arizona to stand up for what is right.

Also, list them and make it known that no AZ business will serve them. See how long the last. They can move to California.

    https://www.factcheck.org/2020/12/audit-in-michigan-county-refutes-dominion-conspiracy-theory/

“Duncan Buell, a professor of computer science and engineering at the University of South Carolina, said the report seemed eager to conclude fraud. He said Dominion’s software isn’t perfect, but that isn’t the same as a company creating software to commit fraud.

“When I read this report what I see … is that every time there is a problem referenced in the software, the report instantly jumps to malice and intent,” Buell said.

He said that the existence of the hand-marked, paper ballots allowed for confidence in the results.

“The audit of the human-marked paper is going to be the best record we have of what the voters intended,” he said.

And, as we said, the audit has now affirmed that the systems used didn’t change the outcome.”

  • Cotour

There should be NO issue if a voting machine, by either party or candidate in any municipality is requested to be examined. Period.

The only thing that the powers that be in Michigan is running out the clock. Period.

And they appear to be in the process of hiding evidence that these machines have indeed been used to perpetrate a fraud. Period.

As a matter of act, if there are electronic voting systems in place they should by law ALL be examined yearly and they should comply with the federal standard for such, 1 adjudicated vote per every 250,000 votes. A 68% rate of adjudicated votes is in a word concerning.

And if that standard can not be practically met then other means of voting need to be devised and implemented.

  • Jeff Fauva

    Cotour:

There are hand recounts to verify the machine counts. That’s what was done. What’s the problem?

  • Cotour

What is the problem with allowing a third party to examine the machines?

    No harm, no foul.

The ONLY reason to not allow it and obstruct it is why in your opinion?

  • Cotour

    Hello?

    Jeff F?

Why must the machines not be examined?

    Why is that so important?

  • Edward

Ah, there is the leftist, Jeff Fauva, knowing that the election was stolen but saying, ‘neener, neener, you can’t prove it because no one will let you, so there!’

  • Jeff Fauva

The problem with examining all of the machines is that there is no evidence good enough for the Dominion truthers. The further the truthers are indulged in their conspiracy, the further entrenched their views become.

We saw this play-out with the Obama birth certificate. At first, Obama did not want to engage in order to avoid feeding the conspiracists. When the birthers reached a fever pitch, he reluctantly released the short-form certificate. Not good enough! He released the long-form certificate – KERNING! FORGERY! Still not good enough. In truth, there will never be enough to convince the hard-core birthers. Similarly, there will never be enough evidence to convince the Dominion truthers that Trump lost, despite hand recounts, 1-60 record in court etc. etc..

If they are not convinced by now, it ain’t ever gonna happen.

  • Cotour

    Incorrect.

A static machine that is driven by digital programs that can be dissected and forensically understood in detail, is not a 50 year old document that may or may not be authentic. (As an aside, Barack Obama himself promoted that he was born in Kenya in his well known literary promotional materials. Water under the bridge)

There has been compiled an ever growing case file in the several municipalities where the blatant fraud has taken place in the form of affidavits, videos, statistical analysis, photographs, in person testimony, and the list continues to grow. And dismissing of it all and your inability or refusal to objectively recognize that is a choice on your part. It is not about truth for you, that is abundantly clear.

So where does that leave us?

It leaves us at the door of the Congress on Jan 6th and what will be recognized as evidence or not recognized as evidence of fraud by the known to always have to cheat, the Democrats.

There is a lot riding here and by the Democrats own mantra, “By Any Means Necessary”. And the democrats literally mean just that. All is fair in love and war, and this is without doubt war.

  • Cotour

Point: Your characterizing anyone who might recognize when they are being peed on and calling them, “Truthers”, is a Leftist / Democrat technique of distraction and an attempt to delegitimize anyone who would dare look there.

A very transparent move, just one more fraud.

Do you really believe this stuff that you pump out?

  • Jeff Fauva

    Cotour

The evidence you refer to is a hodge-podge of smokescreen that does not stand-up to scrutiny. I’m giving you hand recounts and court cases – such as today’s Arizona ruling. https://twitter.com/marceelias/status/1341418908700520448?s=20

It’s over and has been over for some time. I’m just stating the obvious.

  • Cotour

The Congress and the senate will ultimately be the judge here.

Your not just selling a hand count here, your selling another kind of hand activity. A specialty of the Left.

It keeps piling up in spite of your preferred reality.

  • Jeff Fauva

    Cotour

Pick your very best evidence about election fraud and let’s examine it.

  • Jeff Fauva: I will make one attempt, vain though it really is. If you come here regularly, then you must have seen my post earlier today from Georgia:

Georgia state senate: Election “untrustworthy” and should be decertified

I provide a link to their own very detailed report [pdf]

It isn’t difficult reading, and as I note in my post,

The report itself lists in detail all the documented allegations, either from witness affidavits or testimony or from actual videos showing corruption, misbehavior, or very suspicious behavior. It is important to note that we are not talking about one or two allegations by only a few witnesses. We are talking of a giant stack, in the hundreds, many backed up by video evidence.

    .

Of course, since the Republicans put it together, you will ignore it or dismiss it. Or if you do surprise me and actually read it, you will either not comment or will say it doesn’t matter.

All this will mean is that you condone voter fraud and tampering. You are quite willing to let it happen, if it means your guy wins. Who cares that millions of Americans were disenfranchised and our entire election system has been permanently debased? Trump is gone! The Democrats are in charge!

As I said previously, you remind me of those Germans in the 1930s that refused to believe genocide was occurring in their country, no matter what evidence was presented to them.

  • Edward

Jeff Fauva wrote: “The problem with examining all of the machines is that there is no evidence good enough for the Dominion truthers. The further the truthers are indulged in their conspiracy, the further entrenched their views become.

Ah, more of the neener neener. The problem with examining all of the machines is that there is no evidence good enough for the leftists, the election truthers.

The evidence you refer to is a hodge-podge of smokescreen that does not stand-up to scrutiny.

See what I mean? Give any evidence at all, and the election truthers pooh pooh it in that neener neener way.

The history files have been erased, which should not be possible, but Dominion made it so. What we saw and what is testified to is perfectly normal in any Democrat-run election. Sending the poll watchers home while votes are counted is not suspicious at all, because the watchers are there not to ensure a fair election but just to ogle the female workers. Everyone knows that!

We saw this play-out with the Obama birth certificate.

Which came from Hillary Clinton’s campaign, not Trump. In fact, it was Trump who finally said that it was time for Obama to end Hillary’s lie. Yet Jeff does not have sense enough to be embarrassed at how he turns out to always be so terribly wrong.

  • Cotour

“The Congress and the senate will ultimately be the judge here.”

And that is what all this will come down to as far as evidence and who will prevail, by design.

    Its their job.

  • Cotour

    And PS:

To argue that there is no evidence of fraud, collusion and chicanery in this election specifically by the Democrats is just not real. You might argue that there is not enough to effect the result, but there was without doubt cheating done in an organized manner specifically by the Democrat party machine.

And to deny that fact is foolish and dishonest.

  • Jeff Fauva

    Robert:

Thanks for the link. This is nothing but a sloppy recounting of unproven or useless oral testimony. Notice that the report goes from “Section III – Oral Testimony” directly to “Section V – Conclusion”. Perhaps Section IV is where the hard evidence was. One is reminded of Sidney Powell’s sloppy “kraken” pleadings, such as the recent Freudian submission where the stock phrase “under penalty of perjury” was written as, “under plenty of perjury”.

This report amounts to a “Chewbacca defense” where so many issues are thrown-in that the jury gets confused and throws the whole thing out. Am I supposed to address the Dominion allegations, or the “they were mean to me” complaints? Can you narrow it down to one issue of most concern?

  • Cotour

“To argue that there is no evidence of fraud, collusion and chicanery in this election specifically by the Democrats is just not real. ”

You are either willfully unconscious or you are just an operative selling a position to protect where your bread is buttered.

IMO: Just selling whores and heroin on the corner, a typical Democrat party hack.

  • Jeff Fauva

Cotour: Quote some real evidence rather than yourself.

  • Cotour

The real evidence will be examined by those who will have the last say here, the Congress and the Senate. And that will tale place soon enough. The Constitution is structured to take care of business here. Once again the Founders reveal their brilliance and vision related to counter balancing the nature of man related to the abuse of power.

I am not going to hash out what is and what is not the “evidence” here with you. That would be all for naught, a waste of time.

If you want to contend that there is not enough cheating in this election to effect the result, then that would be reasonable.

However, to claim, like you claim, that there is no evidence of cheating specifically by the Democrats and their minions in the 2020 presidential election despite all the evidence that continues to pile up in all of the forms that it has been documented, then THAT is unreasonable and clearly a false narrative and a chosen reality.

Choose one. Your dishonesty here indicates to me that you are sent here to throw a monkey wrench in this forum that chases the truth no matter what. You sir are fraudulent.

  • As I said, it is like talking to a wall.

  • Cotour

Jeff F and many others do not understand the fundamentals of the structure of the Constitution and what it intends.

And there in they think they can choose their own “Constitutional” reality and call it good. They either are confused because they just do not properly understand what they are commenting on, OR they do understand.

The Constitution is built for battle and these kinds of individuals who will attack it.

PS: Why would you insult walls? At least walls serve a useful purpose.

  • Jeff Fauva

    Robert and Cotour

The reason these pleadings are so slapdash is because they are propaganda meant for your consumption rather than any serious legal proceedings. That’s also why they are made public as soon as they are filed. No good litigator wants to litigate in public – unless publicity is the real goal.

Since you are soooo sure of yourselves and soooo sure that I’m the one who doesn’t understand anything, I will offer you a $750 bet to go to the charity of your choice that these claims go nowhere, and Biden is president come 1/21/2021. Should be easy money because I’m a wall and you’re Constitutional and election law scholars

    Put up or shut up.

  • Jeff Fauva

Robert: “It’s like talking to a wall”

    Also Robert:

“I predict less than 61,000 deaths by the time covid is over”

Did you ever reflect on how wrong you were? How irresponsible all of your bad takes have been? Perhaps this site as irresponsible and consequence-free as the media you ingest?

  • Cotour

I NEVER bet on politics, do you know why?

BECAUSE THERE IS THE HIGH LIKELYHOOD THAT CHEATING WILL BE INVOLVED!

And again you misunderstand the Constitution. The Constitution only lays out the rules and the mechanisms by which government is to be administered, and the end goal is to counter act the nature of man related to the abuse of power. It does not guarantee that those rules and those mechanisms of good governance will absolutely be adhered to.

I refer you to the nature of man.

  • JeffFauva

    Cotour

So we are to go by Trump sycophants and you and your small corner of the internet that thinks they know better than courts?

  • Edward

Jeff Fauva wrote: “This is nothing but a sloppy recounting of unproven or useless oral testimony.

See what I mean? Give any evidence at all, and the election truthers pooh pooh it in that neener neener way.

Jeff Fauva is the very definition of a bigot.

The reason these pleadings are so slapdash is because they are propaganda meant for your consumption rather than any serious legal proceedings.

From the great legal expert, Jeff Fauva. He has proved that he knows of which he speaks, so we should all blindly follow his blind loyalty to his stupid sources — who are also legal giants,

I will offer you a $750 bet to go to the charity of your choice that these claims go nowhere, and Biden is president come 1/21/2021. Should be easy money because I’m a wall and you’re Constitutional and election law scholars. Put up or shut up.

Ah, the legal powerhouse among us has no concept of what a stolen election is or means. What a phony legal scholar he turned out to be. .

Also Robert: ‘I predict less than 61,000 deaths by the time covid is over’ Did you ever reflect on how wrong you were?

How would Jeff know that there were even as many as 60,000 deaths due to Wuhan, when the data has been so badly corrupted by all the regular deaths due to regular flu and pneumonia? Worse, the financial incentives to report suspected or assumed Wuhan Deaths further contaminates the data. Jeff would not recognize corrupted data if it came up to him, introduced itself, then kicked him in the teeth. The ignoramus, Jeff, has no idea that there have been virtually no reports of deaths due to pneumonia or regular flus since early spring. This is why deaths are “attributed” to Wuhan, not “due to” Wuhan.

Instead he blindly believes his fearful leaders, comes here, and tries to spread his own fear onto us.,

And rubs our noses into the fact that too few of our leaders are brave enough to make a difference, to stand up to the evil, riotous left, which stole our election, our liberty, and our lives. How evil of him is that?

  • Edward: As much as I agree with your analysis of Jeff Fauva’s willful blindness and ignorance, I think you have better tone down the name-calling. Saying he is ignorant is not the same as calling him an “ignoramus.” The first is pointing out the weakness of his position. The second is merely name-calling, and serves no purpose other than to discredit you and what you write.

It is also getting to the point where you are breaking my commenting rules. If you don’t ease up, I will have to suspend you for a week. Consider this a warning.
