Oregon is a nice place to visit but if you go someplace that requires the purchase of a parking permit, do not delay in putting it on your car ASAP. Many places require long hikes from the parking lot to the pay station and parking enforcement is round the clock and they check cars frequently, so don’t be lazy.
Usually, when I go someplace that requires a parking permit, I just keep driving…
