On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Today’s blacklisted American: Biden’s Justice Dept prosecutes doctor who blew the whistle on child mutilation at hospital

They’re coming for you next: This story provides possibly the best illustratration of the barbarism of the Democratic Party and the Biden administration. Rather than celebrate the courage of Ethan Haim, the doctor who in 2023 blew the whistle on the continuing secret sex change operations being performed on children as young as 11 at Texas Children’s Hospital, the Biden Justice Department this week indicted that doctor on four felony charges.

On the morning in June 2023 that Haim was to graduate from Texas Children Hospital’s residency program, federal agents knocked on his door. They had identified him as a potential “leaker,” presumably through forensic examination of the hospital’s computer systems. Shortly thereafter, Assistant U.S. Attorney Tina Ansari began threatening Haim with prosecution.

Now, Ansari has made good on those threats. Earlier this week, U.S. marshals appeared at Haim’s home and summoned him to court to face an indictment on four felony counts of violating HIPAA. His initial appearance is next Monday [June 10th], where he will learn more about the charges against him.

Haim should be proud. He has now joined Donald Trump as one of the many innocent Americans being persecuted by the weaponized lawfare of the Democrats and the Biden administration because they simply disagree with its policies.

The facts of the case prove the political nature of the charges.. First, Christopher Rufo, who broke Haim story at the City Journal, makes it very clear that Haim was very careful to violate no HIPPAA rules.

I can confirm that nothing in the information provided to me identified any individual; all the documents were, in fact, carefully redacted.

Second, when officials at Texas Children’s Hospital claimed in the spring of 2022 that it was halting all such castration and mutilation procedures on little kids, they were lying, and Haim’s actions in 2023 exposed those lies, showing that the hospital’s doctors continued those procedures thought 2022 and 2023. Note too that these procedures were made illegal by the Texas legislature in May of 2023, which means the hospital was covertly breaking the law after that date.

Third, it is sickening that this issue is open to any debate at all. These treatments on young children are abusive, immoral, and utterly despicable. Children are not capable of making such life-changing medical decisions, and no adult should make such decisions for them. For parents or doctors to brainwash a little kid into thinking he or she must be castrated or mutilated medically because he or she is confused about sex is child abuse of the worst kind. People who do such things — not those who uncover the abuse — should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

A civilized society would honor Haim for his willingness to expose Texas Children’s Hospital’s continuing child abuse. The Biden administration and the Democrats who run it and control the Justice Department however think such procedures are right and proper. How dare Haim stop doctors from castrating little kids! He must be punished.

Haim’s life has practically been destroyed by these indictments.

We spent the entirety of our retirement, investments, savings, and almost all of our disposable income to pay the legal bills to keep the case alive. My name was also leaked to left-wing activists who have viciously defamed me online and threatened my reputation as a physician.

In January Haim started a GiveSendGo fundraiser to help pay his legal bills, which since then has raised almost $350K, with the money going entirely to pay legal bills.

Haim also makes clear on this fundraiser page that he is in this fight, to the end.

We see this as … a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stand up for what is right and against those who abuse their authority to silence those who speak the truth. In this way the costs are miniscule. Whatever we have paid – whether financial, emotional, or career-wise – has been well worth it.

Even if he wins big in court, we won’t really have a victory until every single politician and health official who advocates these sick “trans-gender-affirming” procedures is out of power. And that will take a lot more action than this single court fight.

Your support allows me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.

In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.

  • I WRITE ABOUT TRUMP, ITS REALLY ABOUT BIDEN

“I write about my opinions and interpretations regarding the Constitution, politics, the media and other things that interest me or make me laugh. And when I am writing about Trump and todays politics I am actually writing about Joe Biden and the perversions and corruptions that the desperate Democrat party machine is today in the process of perpetrating in America.”

I think he’ll win this case in the end, But as we keep saying here, the process is the punishment.

    What a tragedy!

To think that so much money needs to be collected, in a country where the government is tasked with protecting the citizens, to protect a citizen from that very same government.

I pray that Haim wins the case, and wins big.

It is just embarrassing, not to mention that it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!

Exactly what the Constitution is designed to counterbalance.

I want to find out exactly where Tina Ansari lives, then go to her house & protest, very loudly to let her know she can‘t get away with this! Make her the focus of attention, with ready-made press releases telling the whole story & paid protesters at her door 24×7! Let these federal crooks know they can‘t hide from the public! Tina Ansari is a federal crook and a traitor to her nation!

The sheer magnitude of evil displayed here by the illegitimate Biden/DOJ criminal cabal in persecuting an honest physician is almost beyond comprehension.

The fact that Texas Childrens is engaging in unethical, and apparently illegal, behavior is no secret to anyone who has endured any interactions with them for at least the past 10-15 years.

  • 370H55V I/me/mine

Well, at least his trial will be in Texas, where he might get a fair shake, unlike Trump in Manhattan or DC.

  • Seawriter

I think you might be able to charge the prosecutor under Texas law with conspiracy to abet and aid child abuse due to this charge. After all, the prosecutor is participating in an attempt to aid a cover-up of child abuse under state law. Should not matter that he is employed by the Justice Department.

Don’t know what legs the charge would have, but even if dismissed it would serve as a warning against future abuse.

  • Seawriter: Now THAT is a great idea, and entirely within the law. Ken Paxton should do it, yesterday.

  • Doubting Thomas

370 – Depends on where the trial is in Texas. If in Austin or Houston the odds for the poor Doctor are only a somewhat better than if in DC or NYC.

Seawriter – What a GREAT idea!! As a citizen of Texas, I sent an email to AG Paxton’s office and used your words. Suggest any readers here that are Texans do the same. E-bomb the Governor and the Lt Gov too.

Sadly, the process is often the punishment and these evil people know it and use that to suppress what should be free speech and righteous actions.

As has been said, do not believe that the Founders thought that legal process should be a form of punishment. This probably should be addressed in a constitutional convention under Article 5. However as John Adams observed, our freedom depends more on a preponderance of civic virtue among the people than the Constitution which can always be perverted by fast talkers and grifters.

  • Doubting Thomas

Robert – My apologies but I am going to pipe up one more time.

After posting, I went on the link provided to Dr Haim’s Give-Send-Go account to provide a small donation towards his legal fees. I looked at his story on the site and read the letter that his attorney’s had provided to Rep Chip Roy of Texas that detailed the actions of the DoJ prosecutor.

The letter revealed that, once again, the prosecutor threatened not only Dr. Haim but in an oblique, underhanded way, Haim’s wife, who as an attorney had simply counseled her husband to decline interaction with DoJ / FBI until he had retained counsel and it was present. Again the process is the punishment.

I urge readers to follow the link to Give Send Go and if nothing else read the details of the story.

  • Doubting Thomas: No apologies necessary. You are doing exactly what these comments are really for, adding value to what I post. I had not realized that DOJ threatened his wife as well, for merely giving legal advice.
