Now pipeline explosions with clathrate hydrates may seem of little import to SS/SH because that’s supposed to be pure methane.
But how pure is “pure?”
Could gas-gas engines open themselves up to another failure mode not found outside methalox rockets?
How much water vapor might be in those methane tanks?
