Left wing activists demand but fail to prevent someone from videotaping an open public event they had scheduled at a college.
Fascists: Left wing activists demand but fail to prevent someone from videotaping an open public event they had scheduled at a college.
Watch the video below the fold. You will be amused when the leftists try to block the videographer’s camera and somehow think this prevents him from recording their actions. If anything, it allows him to document forcefully their lack of respect for free speech.

Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. Your support allows me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.
In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.
Your help allows me to do this kind of intelligent analysis. I take no advertising or sponsors, so my reporting isn't influenced by donations by established space or drug companies. Instead, I rely entirely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, which gives me the freedom to write what I think, unencumbered by outside influences.
You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are four ways of doing so:
1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.
2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.
3. A Paypal Donation or subscription:

What these socialists don’t understand is, there are party members, and then there are the rest of us, they do not believe that they will be included with us and that they will be of the privileged few. Educated people are the first ones to be disposed of.
From the link: “the irony of their choice of words being lost on them.”
Yeah, there is a lot of irony that they miss. Especially the irony that they complain that capitalism has failed, when in reality it is crony capitalism (essentially a form of fascism, which is a form of socialism that allows the population to own the means of production but over-regulation reduces the freedom of that production — the NAZIs were the Nationalist *Socialist* German Worker’s Party) that is failing in this country right now, not free market capitalism. Bush abandoned free market principles in order to save the free market, but the free market still has not returned. The failure of crony capitalism is why “the recovery” has been one fiscal quarter away for the past 21 quarters.
The 2009 stimulus was crony capitalism on steroids. The auto industry bailout was also crony capitalism, which resulted in both of the bailed out companies going bankrupt despite government bailouts and government management. Grants and loans to solar companies were crony capitalism.

“fas•cism
“noun
“1. ( sometimes initial capital letter ) a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.”
Seem familiar? The other part of fascism, the suppression of free speech and free expression, such as reporting on a fascist — er — Marxist meeting: how ironic that the Marxists were afraid that their words might make them seem like bad people. [Sarcasm alert!] I wonder why they would think that. (To paraphrase FDR: all they have to fear is transparency itself.)
Another irony: the videographer did not shut down the meeting, as he actually *wanted* them to hold it. It was the meeting organizers, who didn’t know what to do in the face of someone else’s free speech rights, who cancelled or postponed it. Theirs was the usual attitude of: “Free speech for me but not for thee,” as our host, Robert, often points out.
Finally, we have seen several examples of campus police preventing conservatives from exercising their fee speech rights; this time we see them protecting everyone’s free speech rights: kudos to them. (Is that also ironic, or is it just unusual? It is such a rare event that I can’t tell anymore.)
Kudos also go to the videographer, for not backing down and not being intimidated by the threatening, harassing, and unruly mob.
