Blacklists are back and the Democrats have got ’em: According to numerous whistleblowers talking to the office of Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the FBI has been aggressively blacklisting any employee who happens to express any conservative opinions at all.
Jordan detailed the most recent actions in a June 7th letter [pdf] to Chris Wray, director of the FBI, which was also a follow-up on another such letter sent in May.
We continue to investigate allegations that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is retaliating against FBI employees for engaging in disfavored political speech. On May 6, 2022, we sent you a letter that detailed examples of the FBI suspending the security clearances of FBI employees for their participation in protected First Amendment activity.1 To date, you have failed to acknowledge our letter or begin to arrange for the requested briefing. Since our May 6 letter, we have received new protected whistleblower disclosures that suggest the FBI’s actions are far more pervasive than previously known. Multiple whistleblowers have called it a “purge” of FBI employees holding conservative views. [emphasis mine]
The earlier May 6th letter [pdf] was even more blunt:
Even more insulting is that the FBI would openly question the patriotism of long-time FBI employees, including at least one veteran, because they exercised their First Amendment rights on their personal time without breaking any laws.
According to Jordan, at least six FBI agents have come forward as whistleblowers, with two describing FBI blacklisting in connection with statements made by agents to a local school board. The other four agents were either suspended or had their security clearance removed because they raised questions about the Democrats’ narrative concerning the January 6, 2021 protests.
In every case, it appears the agents broke no laws and violated no federal policy. Though agents — like all federal employees — are not allowed to participate in partisan politics, such as campaigning for specific candidates, they are not forbidden from publicly expressing their first amendment rights, including attending demonstrations.
Apparently, the management of the FBI under Wray, in league with the Democrats running the Biden administration, have decided that conservative agents should not have these rights, and are acting to punish any that dare exercise them.
None of this should be a surprise. The Democrats have made it clear now for more than a decade that they do not believe in the Bill of Rights or the First Amendment. They have even moved to repeal large portions of both. Now that they control the executive branch, they have been moving to either eliminate those rights, as fast as possible, for anyone in government who has the courage to challenge their positions. And if that doesn’t work, to purge the government of such dissenters, so there will be no one left to challenge the illegal abuses of power by these Democrats.

“The FBI originated from a force of Special Agents created July 26, 1908 by Attorney General Charles Bonaparte during the Presidency of Theodore Roosevelt.
When Roosevelt became President of the United States in 1901, he appointed Bonaparte to be Attorney General. In 1908, Bonaparte applied their Progressive philosophy to the Department of Justice by creating a corps of Special Agents. It had neither a name nor an officially designated leader other than the Attorney General.
During the Progressive Era, from approximately 1900 to 1918. The Progressive generation believed that government intervention was necessary to produce justice in an industrial society. Moreover, it looked to “experts” in all phases of industry and government to produce that just society.
President Roosevelt personified Progressivism at the national level. The first major expansion in Bureau jurisdiction came in June 1910 when the Mann (“White Slave”) Act was passed, making it a crime to transport women over state lines for immoral purposes. It also provided a tool by which the federal government could investigate criminals who evaded state laws but had no other federal violations.
With the April 1917 entry of the United States into World War I during Woodrow Wilson’s administration, the Bureau’s work was increased again. As a result of the war, the Bureau acquired responsibility for the Espionage, Selective Service, and Sabotage Acts
Prohibition created a new federal medium for fighting crime, but the Department of the Treasury, not the Department of Justice, had jurisdiction for these violations.
Attacking crimes that were federal in scope but local in jurisdiction called for creative solutions. The Bureau of Investigation had limited success using its narrow jurisdiction to investigate some of the criminals of “the gangster era.” For example, it investigated Al Capone as a “fugitive federal witness.”
After President Harding died in 1923, his successor, Calvin Coolidge, appointed replacements for Harding’s cronies in the Cabinet. For the new Attorney General, Coolidge appointed attorney Harlan Fiske Stone who, on May 10, 1924, selected Hoover to head the Bureau of Investigation. By inclination and training, Hoover embodied the Progressive tradition.

George Soros bought Up $80 million dollars worth of Spanish radio stations in hopes of reversing the Latino migration to the Republican party, but he may not have known what he was getting into, although he should have guessed. A large portion of the Latinos in Florida comes from socialistic dictatorships such as Cuba. They know what happens when the two combine and they hate it as much as Democrats hate honest politicians.

Why is anybody surprised, let alone upset, about this behavior? This is what the Left AND Right are preaching and practicing. Both sides are each cheering their champions of this behavior: on the Left, they cheer Biden, and on the Right, they cheer DeSantis.
Both declare the State must not “subsidize” (as DeSantis explicitly put it), “political” speech and action which the State “disfavors”. Providing State employment is one of the greatest “subsidies” by the State one could grant to people holding ideas which the State does NOT approve. Thus, according to the principle preached and practiced by Left AND Right alike, the State MUST *refuse* to grant such financial support and succor TO these State *disapproved* thoughts and behaviors.
The ONLY thing which should surprise anyone is that they haven’t expanded it to EVERY form of State “subsidy” which is given to its citizens. For instance, everyone’s travel on roads is an *enormous* subsidy to people. As such, if people dare to stray from State *approved* thought, then the State should STOP them from using any and all government owned roads. After all, the Left and Right’s SHARED principle is that NO such “subsidies” should be given to ideas and actions which are NOT *favored* by the State.
Of course, it’s only a matter of time before BOTH sides start to *consistently* practice their SHARED principle across the board – ie its only a matter of time before BOTH sides *consistently* REJECT the *exercise* of the right of Free Speech (along with so many other rights).
