The arguments for converting the U.S. economy to wind, solar and biomass energy have collapsed. The date of depletion of fossil fuels has been pushed back into the future by centuries — or millennia. Once again we’re forced to invest resources in the form of money, land, and labor on liberal pipe dreams that a lot of people had serious reservations about decades ago. Given the progressive record on, oh, just about everything, and the fact that they represent a minority viewpoint in American society, when are people going to stop listening to them?
i’ve been saying I think if we fully funded development of every type of energy resource (wind, hydro, nuclear, fossil fuels, solar) we will still not have enough energy to meet rapidly increasing demand. The United States and Canada can be huge players in the future global energy market
