Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Pushback: Racial quotas on corporate boards, imposed by California Democrats, struck down by court

The Democratic Party's long held support of racial hate
Segregation: The Democratic Party’s long held #1 goal,
then and now.

Pushback: A federal court has now struck down a 2020 law passed by the California legislature — run entirely by a Democratic Party super-majority — that required corporations to impose racial quotas on who they hired for their corporate boards.

In Alliance for Fair Board Recruitment v. Weber, [the court] struck down a state statute that required racial and gender-identity quotas for board members of publicly held corporations in California. The court ruled that this quota statute violates the U.S. Constitution as well as federal civil rights law.

The 2020 statute, AB 979, required California corporations to have as members on their board of directors individuals from supposedly “underrepresented groups,” including “an individual who identifies as Black, African American, Hispanic, Latino, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Native Hawaiian, or Alaska Native, [or] gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender.”

The number of directors needed to satisfy these quotas was determined by the size of the corporation, but a minimum of one to three members was required. This racist statute went so far as to impose fines ranging from $100,000 to $300,000 for noncompliance.

The law so obviously violated numerous Civil Rights laws and the Constitution that it illustrates profoundly the level of ignorance and racial hatred that consumes the Democrats who passed it.

This insane racial hatred was further illustrated by many different and absurd arguments California’s attorneys drummed up to try to keep this law valid, including a request that the court simply declare invalid the specific racial and sexual groups mentioned, so that the law’s quota system would simply only apply to unnamed “underrepresented groups”. Judge John Mendez laughed this idea out of court.

[H]e concluded that the Legislature “would not have adopted the remainder of AB 979 had it foreseen its partial invalidation.” Moreover, Judge Mendez said, removing those specific racial and ethnic categories “would adversely affect the coherence of the remaining provision.”

That was a polite way of saying it would provide the opportunity for blatant discrimination based on whatever definition that government bureaucrats — or employers — want to give “underrepresented groups.” [emphasis mine]

This law was blatantly discriminatory. It established in California a racial and sexual apartheid system, favoring minorities and advocates of the queer agenda. And the people who wrote it, passed it, and desperately worked to defend it were all members of the Democratic Party, the 21st century’s reincarnation of the Democratic Party of slavery, Jim Crow laws, segregation, and racial discrimination.

If you still vote Democrat then you are either appallingly and willingly ignorant, or you favor such policies. Either way, you are the equivalent of a “good German,” willing to look the other way when those in power use that power to oppress others unjustly.

The support of my readers through the years has given me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Four years ago, just before the 2020 election I wrote that Joe Biden's mental health was suspect. Only in this year has the propaganda mainstream media decided to recognize that basic fact.

Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Even today NASA and Congress refuse to recognize this reality.

In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.

Your help allows me to do this kind of intelligent analysis. I take no advertising or sponsors, so my reporting isn't influenced by donations by established space or drug companies. Instead, I rely entirely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, which gives me the freedom to write what I think, unencumbered by outside influences.

What we are all witness to are all of the highly educated elite young executives who are now well indoctrinated and installed within the corporate executive hierarchy within the corporate fabric of America exercising their power and subjective moral fiduciary responsibility as per their indoctrination.

The elite leftists who favored this idea later found out their own jobs were on the block and their own children were eventual victims.

But the thick among them still want to push these ideas of counter racism.

Its similar to the old union members sending their children to collage and eventually out of the state instead of trade school. Then crying about their area not having any skilled tradesmen or collage graduates to keep their own industries vibrant and alive.
Democrats then blamed industry for the loss.

Their own theories lead to their own downfall.

Its the same with the theory of reparations.
If you do not work hard and save or invest in every way possible, handing you cash will never help you in the end.
    As has been said.
If I hand three people 10 dollars this week one will have 1 dollar by the end of the week, One will still have 10 dollars and one will have 19.
Spenders savers and investors. What ever your doing now is what you will do with any amount of money in your hand.
And the chronically poor are which ones?

Democrats have done so much for blacks

1/31/1865: Congress passed the Thirteenth Amendment to abolish slavery barely overcoming Democratic Party line opposition

What a bunch of MAGA propaganda! The above post is very dangerous and is the foundation of a real threat to our country and Democracy. B. Obama: ‘THIS IS NOT WHO WE ARE!”.

(Or, some might call it history based in actual actions and evidence)

I give you, the real Democrat party: https://youtu.be/Z6R0NvVr164

Now I understand and see both political parties and the entity government that they seek to populate and control as an ongoing and every day threat to the freedom and self-determination of each and every one of the individual citizens of America. Every moment of every day and all the time.

And they (The political parties and the entity government) can be nothing other than that, it only remains to be seen to what degree they will abuse their acquired power. And that nature is exactly what the Constitution is designed to attempt to counterbalance. And that is exactly what you are witness to today.

  • Should not the California Assembly be required to have a racially-proportionate makeup? What about districts where Republicans have been ‘historically disadvantaged’?

No problem if they are required to buy the same number of shares as other members of the Board

    James Street,
    — You forgot the Trail Of Tears, which was ordered by the first Democrat president, Jackson.

    — Woodrow Wilson segregated the U.S. armed forces.

    — LBJ changed strategy of the Democratic Party when he realized that the party was on the wrong side of popularity with the Civil Rights Act, but he declared that his new strategies would “have those [ahem]s voting Democrat for two hundred years. So far, he was right. He made it look friendly to the black population, but it isn’t. For instance, the Democrats are bringing segregation back in fashion, but this time with black concurrance and enthusiasm.

Thanks Edward, I’ve updated my list.
