Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands. Instead, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

In reporting on climate change, ABC and CBS have excluded any commentary from any skeptical scientists for literally years.

In reporting on climate change, ABC and CBS have excluded all commentary from any skeptical scientists for literally years.

Neither CBS nor ABC have included a skeptical scientists in their news shows within the past 1,300 days, but both networks included alarmists within the past 160 days — CBS as recently as 22 days ago. When the networks did include other viewpoints, the experts were dismissed as “out of the scientific mainstream” or backed by “oil and coal companies.”

It is almost like these news organizations are closing their eyes and sticking their fingers in their ears and chanting, “La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la…” Not the kind of behavior you’d expect from a legitimate news organization.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Their argument is that because “global warming” or “climate change” what ever moniker it goes by at the moment, is something that transcends science or logic of evidence because its something that they intuitively KNOW is correct and because of that and the immensity of the subject there is no time left to deal with anything that might indicate something less.

They are dealing with the future and established measurement about the past do not indicate (in their minds) what similar conditions in the future will or may be. Thats the beauty of the whole thing, they are not burdened with extrapolating the known, they can deal in the unknown and anything is possible in that world.

Its perfect and hard to counter act. And I am not saying that humans should not be aware of what effects they have on their environment, they certainly should and they should constantly strive to mitigate any abuses (pollution).

Re: Not the kind of behavior you’d expect from a legitimate news organization – my problem is, ABC, NBC, See-BS, MSNBC, CNN, et al, stopped being legitimate news organizations a long time ago. I agree – no LEGITIMATE News org would do this – but they aren’t legitimate & haven’t been for many, many years now. They are more in the mold of the old Soviet gov’t-controlled propaganda mouthpieces, Tass & Pravda – only worse ! ! Worse, you say?? How so? Because at least most Soviet citizens were aware they were being fed propaganda & discounted much of it, but the majority of Americans are unaware that a supposedly “free and independent” media has a definite agenda & supports a particular (Socialist) viewpoint, and therefore, believe just about everything they’re told! When I’ve tried to point this out to some folks, they’re incredulous – “Why would they LIE?”. I find that to be FAR more dangerous than something generally known & recognized as propaganda. Hand in hand with this, many observers have correctly pointed out that the Environmental/Green/GloBULL Warming movement is, at its core, Socialist, anti-Capitalist, anti-religious, anti-human and anti-American…
