I heard this song on the radio and was astonished because it actually didn’t overload the sound with a typical rock instrumentation so that it was no longer a country tune but a simply rock song with the singer having a western accent. Instead it is simple and clear and a pleasure to listen to, partly because it doesn’t sound like every other pop song played these days.
It also makes a great song to start the weekend.

Your evening pause selections are all over the place (“diverse” has become a dirty word). I usually listen just to broaden my horizons. This time I was just surprised that you picked Zac Brown.
One problem with living in the middle of nowhere is that no one tours here (Sturgis Rally being the big exception). Back in CO, the bring-your-own-chair tickets at Fiddler’s Green are $64. That seems not-crazy. The actual seats are about the same as Puyallup, which I’d never heard of and keep reading as Pull y’all Up. That does seem a bit much. I prefer recordings, anyway. I’ve been to too many concerts where the people around me are more annoying than fun.
