The IRS goes after Breitbart
Working for the Democratic Party: The IRS has targeted conservative outlet Breitbart News for an audit.
Though of course this audit could have been randomly picked by the IRS, if you believe that I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you. This is obviously an attempt by the Obama administration and its flunkies working at the IRS to harass another one of their opponents. For example, the audit notice demanded
a litany of documents, including logs of its receipts and expenses, but also its partnership agreement and a “written narrative” of the business.
From this statement by Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) it turns out the IRS has also requested “personal income tax returns for each member of the company.” Consider that for a moment. Such a request suggests a fishing expedition by the IRS which will be followed by further audits of these individuals.

Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. Your support allows me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.
In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.
Your help allows me to do this kind of intelligent analysis. I take no advertising or sponsors, so my reporting isn't influenced by donations by established space or drug companies. Instead, I rely entirely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, which gives me the freedom to write what I think, unencumbered by outside influences.
You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are four ways of doing so:
1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.
2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

Disgusting – you’d think after already having been caught in the current ORS scandal targeting Conservative non-profits, they’d have learned their lesson & back off. Obviously, they think they’re entirely justified in doing this. Shameful, disgraceful, abhorrent, disgusting – I always seem to run out of adjectives to adequately describe this loathsome Regime…
OOPs – meant “IRS scandal” – obviously…
Why doesn’t the House suspend funding for the entire IRS? This would be an huge wake-up call to everyone working there that their paychecks may be endangered. Nothing like taking away money from someone to make them behave lawfully.
I’m still waiting for IRS personnel to go to jail. No, I’m not holding my breath!
Criminal organizations (D) do not behave lawfully. They coordinate to do unlawful things. This is war, but only one side is fighting. The other side occasionally notices but then ‘gives benefit of doubt’ where there is no doubt.
Meanwhile we pretend that voting matters.
I don’t think back off is in their dictionary considering Lerner was colluding with the DOJ to imprison people after the IG report, that the actions against the victims are still on going, and that the DOJ is coordinating document leaks and political attacks with congressional Democrats.
I don’t think back off is in their dictionary…
Good point!

Good idea ! ! Probably couldn’t be done for one (silly) reason or another – but I like the concept…
