If this is so, we are really in trouble, especially since there presently is no other realistic option on the table.

Actually supporters have stayed the same, opponents are growing slightly, and half of folks aer neiather.
On the good news side – when folks actually hear what the plan is, he can turn them into supporters quickly. The problem is most folks don’t know what it is – and adamantly appose it for things tyhey incorrectly think it does.
Obama BS and mudslinging rather than getting to work on it doesn’t help. Republican candidates who are equally clueless as the voters doesn’t help either.
