Climate scientists have been forced to revise their climate models due to the unexpected refusal of the climate to warm since the late 1990s.
The uncertainty of science: Climate scientists have been forced to revise their climate models due to the unexpected refusal of the climate to warm since the late 1990s.
In related news, the certainty of some ignorant politicians: A Democratic senator used the Oklahoma tornado to rant against Republicans who have expressed skepticism about human-caused global warming. Update: Senator Barbara Boxer (D-California) followed up by blaming the tornado on global warming while pushing her carbon tax bill today.
The first story attempts very hard to keep the narrative alive that we are all going to die from global warming, even though the gist is that the warming has stopped and all the predictions of global warming scientists have been wrong. The second story illustrates the typically close-minded attitude of liberal politicians. The senator not only refuses to recognize the new data showing that warming has stopped, he has accepted the global warming narrative completely, including the entirely false claim that extreme weather is rising because of global warming.

Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. Your support allows me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.
In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.
Your help allows me to do this kind of intelligent analysis. I take no advertising or sponsors, so my reporting isn't influenced by donations by established space or drug companies. I found reading the BBC article produced cognitive dissonance. They say the recent cooling suggests a lower rate of warming than previously predicted would occur, but then keep to their dogma of saying warming will occur and it is a threat. What happens if the next decade shows cooling like the last decade? I suspect they’ll be revising their projections downward to the point where no global warming is demonstrated.
Global warming based on fossil fuels talks all around the causes of warming and climate change but only assigns an extremely small of warming due to changes in the Sun.
To most critical thinkers, it’s obvious computer weather forecasts are unreliable beyond 2-4 days, and downright laughable beyond a week or two. Why should we trusts these human designed climate models when they are not only flawed, but designed to produce a political outcome. Scientific observation, not computer predictions cooked up by biased scientists are what is needed. Sadly, this science has taken a credibility hit, rather than improve.
