March 17, 2021 Zimmerman/Batchelor podcast
Embedded below the fold in four parts. This was my first appearance on the new John Batchelor Show for the CBS radio network. For those who used to listen to John on his old network, you will need to do some research to find his new radio locations.
Or you can listen to these podcasts here on Behind the Black, though they will usually get posted a day late.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Very little info on the internet where to find him, but I’ll find him. I get a little more info every day.
I listened to him every night as he had a variety of topics. If I did not like what he was discussing then I knew in 15 or 30 minutes it would change. Now for the past three nights they have been talking about Como every night. Enough already.
Thanks again.

Good to have you both on the air. Last week the station I normally listen to John Batchelor on was playing re-runs of his show. Luckily the station is a CBS radio affiliate and is playing his show in the normal time slot.
Jay, what is that station? Thanks.
Gary,
The station I listen to is KQQQ, it is on the air and on-line. Their website is: https://pullmanradio.com. The John Batchelor Show plays on 6pm Pacific Time.
Glad to have you both back Mr Z!
You were both missed on my late night commute home.
