The hate grows: Several suspicious packages, mailed to important Democrats, have been intercepted and are now being investigated by FBI.
The packages were mailed in manila envelopes with bubble wrap interior. The packages were affixed with computer-printed address labels and six Forever stamps. All packages had a return address of “DEBBIE WASSERMAN SHULTZ” [sic] in Florida. Packages identified to date were addressed to:
- George Soros
- Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
- Former President Barack Obama
- Former CIA Director John Brennan, care of CNN
- Former Attorney General Eric Holder
The package addressed to former Attorney General Holder did not reach its intended destination, but was rerouted to the return address in Florida.
The FBI also notes that additional packages may have been mailed as well.
Now that Democrats are being threatened with violence, the press — and the Democrats — are going to go nuts about the lack of civility in our society, having ignored and sometimes even encouraged the same kind of incivility and violence against conservatives for the past two years. No matter. Actions like this against anyone are vile and criminal, and should be condemned and stopped at every opportunity. One cannot have a civilized society where people are threatened with violence merely for expressing dissenting views.

Given the history of the dems and the fact that they are losing ground, I would not put it past some of them to be the perpetrators.
However, under the current administration, my expectation is for a thorough investigation. There some very unstable people out there and the current rhetoric on both side could set off one such mentally ill person.
I applaud Trump’s denunciation! I wish the dems would denunciation those harassing the conservative, but I see they are encouraging it! Maine Waters being very aggressive at this.
I know of a few stanch conservative who register as democrats or independents to avoid the harassment.
Any conservative would not engage in this because they know the effect the dem’s harassment of Kavanuagh had on their own popularity. It would not make sense.

Hmmm . . . the package sent to Soros’ house was opened by a staff member and then taken to a yard and it did not go off. Also, if you look at the picture the postage stamps have not been canceled by USPS meaning they didn’t go through the mail. The x-ray of one of the devices looks absurd. The timing of this event is also very suspect.
Every strategy that the Democrats have attempted, like the Kavanaugh strategy has failed very badly. Is this an attempt to tamp down the growing Red tide that grows in America by a leftist operative or is it an extreme zealot of the Right? Either are possible.
Lets see how long it takes to find the knucklehead genius that sent them and who or what they are aligned with.

I don’t think this was some kind of false flag. All of the coup leaders were targeted along with Democrat leaders who have been cheering on the militant activists in their efforts to beat people in streets and engage in targeted direct action harassment of political opponents. But none of us will know for sure until the perpetrator is caught and questioned.
The media is acting like this is something new, and it is because the Democrats were the targets but it also isn’t because Republicans have been under sustained assault all across the country since the 2016 election primary season. Democrats attempted to assassinate dozens of representatives and senators and other Republicans running for office have been the target of violent attacks that didn’t even get the minor coverage that the mass assassination attempt did. The attacks on non-Democrat civilians have received zero coverage in the mainstream DNC media. When attacks on civilians were covered, it was with a slant of they deserved it or blaming the victims.
Just a few weeks ago, Republicans were sent letters with ricin. This chemical weapon attack barely rated a mention in the mainstream DNC media.
Now that Democrats are experiencing some small part of what Republicans have been going through for almost three years, will they look at how their rhetoric and direct action militant protesting tactics are causing violence in our country? From the statements of the DNC media so far, it looks like they still view Democrat violence as legitimate and mandatory.
All of the violence is horrible. It needs to stop. And just like solution to stopping violence when people are practicing their free speech is to get Democrats to stop attacking people, the solution here is for Democrats to stop the violence, calls to violence, and celebration of violence. There would be no revenge attacks if there was nothing to revenge.
Also, it would help if the people breaking the law were held accountable and I hope the person who delivered these packages is caught, tried, and sentenced to the fullest extent of the law and then Democrats will not only stop organizing and funding their militant activists but support the full extent of the law applied to Democrats who engage in this type of behavior.
I think that what has to be seriously thought about is: If the Democrats are unable to reacquire any power in either the Congress or the Senate, which IMO is highly likely, what will they tend to do from there on?
Civility? Civility will be a second thought, I can not imagine the lengths that they will go to as they are further forced to face the reality of the predicament that they have manifested for themselves in the country. They will be able to justify just about anything in order to “make things right”.
After the midterms, depending on the results is when we will all see the lengths and level of depravity the Democrats will be able to justify in going. This will be never before seen in modern times, I can not imagine the logic and contortions they will be willing and by necessity required to go. They will never face the fact that they have been rejected by the populous.
Be afraid, but be strong.

Some time ago, I have indicated that I thought the dems would come up with something at about this time frame.
Catching the perp is utmost importance but if it is a dem, you can guess what their reaction will be.
At this late date, I have my doubts that the perp can be identified, but hopefully, justice will prevail!

I have been informed that current forensic techniques and data bases may make the apprehension of the perpetrator(s) more rapid than I have thought. Experience in solving other bombings has provided researchers with some pretty amazing tools. There are markers tabulated in data bases which make identifying where hardware was bought. Personality profiling techniques have been honed to levels we can only imagine. This includes personal traits such as handedness are somewhat routine. The scope of the terror acts could help in that there will be witnesses to some acts which may seem odd when looked in hindsight.
The current administration must act with the greatest urgency as copy-cats make the complete political sphere rather volatile. The crudeness of the devises leads some to think this was entry level terrorism or the intent was for the devises not to go off.
The public may know much more in a shorter time than we think.
Another weird thing they did was use a computer printer for the labels. All printers for a very long time have utilized an invisible string of yellow dots that identify the make, model, and serial # of the device used.
The first thought I had was similar to some previously posted. Is there a bomb maker that constructs bombs, delivers them, and then NONE get detonated? And all of those recipients have heavy security details, especially OBama, Clinton, and Soros. What bomb maker is there that does not make absolutely sure the package gets delivered?
In my opinion, these were a set-up, not meant to get to anyone, or even be detonated. I do not think that a far right nut group would be that ineffective, if one was stupid enough to want to do such a thing.
This smells like a set-up.
Now, we know the bombs were hoaxes. Whether or not it was a false flag remains to be seen. We need the person/people responsible arrested asap.
The misspellings and the get er done sticker come off as an over the top attempt at portraying what a lefty thinks of someone on the right rather than how someone on the right would actually act.

Trump’s denunciation of these acts could also be referring to the “caravan” and the harassment of the conservatives: and should. He is really a bright fellow whom no one should underestimate. Using the full might of the justice system to find and prosecute the perp(s) is exactly the thing which can return peace to an Obama divided country.

Trump is just getting in the president Of The United States roll groove, if you notice he is really handling much of this, besides his occasional reversion to the sixth grade, in a very confident and competent manner that further solidifies as the pressure increases, which is typical stress performance characteristics of some people.
Some people who are put under pressure fall apart and then there are others who are built for it, that is Trump. One story I read, the media was invited to take pictures without the bomb squad disabling it first. Apparently they did not feel it was a threat. A plastic pipe bomb with an as yet unknown powder and broken glass with wires poking out leading to a six dollar clock from Walmart that has no alarm function… No way to send out electrical signal for detonation. A normal package bomb goes off when the person triggers a mechanism when opening it. The exact time the package gets delivered is uncertain, so a timer is window dressing.
Fake bombs so the fake media could immediately blame Trump as if “everyone knows that he created them himself”. Ridiculous!
Trump took the high road on this one. He better not trust the FBI, leave the investigation to the local folks.
The sale of several timers can be inventory traced and the card/video footage on the time stamp will reveal the buyer. Florida for the packages mailed, we will know tomorrow.

wayne: Don’t you know that we now live under two sets of laws? One set says that you cannot not threaten or even criticize liberals. If your actions are criminal, you will be caught instantly and end up in prison quickly.
The other set of laws applies to the right. Criticizing conservatives is okay. Threatening them is merely a form of criticism. Violent attacks, such as shooting a group of Republican Congressmen during a baseball practice, is merely a freak incident. Other violent attacks, such as kicking them, chasing them down the street, or beating them up with bats, is merely free speech.
