Will the American Physical Society be the first major scientific institution to reject the global warming “consensus”?
The essentials: The APS has appointed three of the world’s most well known climate skeptics to its public affairs panel, almost guaranteeing that the organization will change its position from supporting the consensus to a more skeptical approach. Note also that this is the same organization that had one important scientist and a Nobel prize winner resign in disgust three years ago because of its insistence that the evidence of human-caused global warming was “incontrovertible.”
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Robert – that is news! Thanks for posting.
One has to wonder if APS has seen a decline of membership due to the politically correct dogma of global warming, if they are feeling any pain from this big lie, I myself have cancelled subscriptions to national geographic and discovery because they touted global warming, does this bother them?, I doubt it.
I cancelled a so-called science mag also for this reason, Joe.
Perhaps its getting hard to say with a straight face its all completely certain, when the warming is agreed to have stopped in the ’90’s in the face of soaring CO2 emissions?
Eiather way, Its another brick kicked out of the wall.
