Larkin Poe – Mad As A Hatter
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Very nice.. thanks!
Yes, very nice. Well done.
The “illness” is real and affecting us all.
Beautiful voices and nice playing. It might be me or my audio but the words weren’t easy to understand.

Even before i lost my high frequency hearing i could hardly ever understand the words, the singing was just another instrument to me.
i really like lap steel guitar, but when she started talking about her grandfather they had me, i think i cried the whole way through. My wife’s father had Alzheimer’s, it’s very sad and difficult.
OTOH, my great aunt Viva lost her short term memory, at her 102 birthday party she asked me who my cousin’s five year old daughter was about every five minutes, but she was always happy and content, and could tell stories from when she was very young. She lived by herself, in the house her family moved into when she was five, until she was 101.
She gets some very interesting sounds out of that guitar.
Very nice selection. Thank you.
Interesting tidbit:
