Stephen Stills – Treetop Flyer
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News
I think the pilot may have actually got their wheels wet with the run starting at 3:00
Stephen is back on Spotify and why?? For the money of course!!! The three of them (CSN) are back on Spotify pledging to donate “a months worth of sales” to a COVID charity. How magnanimous of them.
I guess keeping the checks coming in will relieve one’s “conscience” of having to be down for the cause after the publicity dies off. And I used to look up to these clowns.
(Mr. Young .. phone your office!)
From NPR in February of 2022 – “Three more prominent musicians are following Neil Young’s lead in asking to have their work removed from the streaming giant Spotify: Young’s former bandmates David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash. They are doing so in protest of popular Spotify podcast host Joe Rogan, who they say has been spreading coronavirus misinformation.”
Tom—I never did look up to these clowns, but I have enjoyed their music and purchased an LP decades ago. The difference between leftists and us is we still can respect people for their redeeming qualities (if any). Financially supporting them, especially the old, rich loudmouths, is a different story however.
