Update on SLS preparations for next dress rehearsal countdown
Link here. Essentially, engineering teams are going through all the equipment that had problems during the first dress rehearsal that prevented its completion, and are fixing each.
Though NASA officials are targeting June for the next dress rehearsal, no date has been set yet. The agency is first waiting for this work on SLS to be completed.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

I’ll reiterate my prior speculation, “this thing is going to explode, during launch.”
A question:
How many of the SLS’s parts (and/or software) were manufactured in China?
Tesla plants are in China to be fair. RS-25 is all American as Shuttle thank you very much.
Jeff–
As far as tesla is concerned, I don’t care where they are manufactured, as long as they pay a 200% tariff if they are sold into the US market. (and we need to cancel any subsidies and/or tax-credits for the purchase thereof.)
[been a free-trader all my life, but I’m sick of it now. Besides, we’ll need all our electricity to mass produce nuclear weapons, ya know, cuz’ of the War were in with russia right now.]
Ref the Space Shuttle– how many of those parts were manufactured off-shore?
