Biden abandons Israel to appease student rioters and help Hamas survive

Joe Biden, allied with Hamas
Joe Biden, appeaser to Hamas and student rioters

The mask is off: President Joe Biden has now made it clear that if Israel moves into the southern Gazan city of Rafah in order to destroy Hamas’s last batallion of soldiers as well as its leadership, he will stop sending Israel major shipments of ammunition and bombs.

President Joe Biden said for the first time Wednesday he would halt some shipments of American weapons to Israel – which he acknowledged have been used to kill civilians in Gaza – if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders a major invasion of the city of Rafah. “Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers,” Biden told CNN’s Erin Burnett in an exclusive interview on “Erin Burnett OutFront,” referring to 2,000-pound bombs that Biden paused shipments of last week.

“I made it clear that if they go into Rafah – they haven’t gone in Rafah yet – if they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities – that deal with that problem,” Biden said.

Let’s distill the real significance of Biden’s decision:

First, this action proves that Biden has never really wanted Hamas destroyed. Though he has appeared to support Israel from the beginning of this war, he has also been somewhat two-faced about that support. Throughout the war, beginning almost immediately after October 7th, he has continually applied pressure on Israel to slow or even stop its effort, while in the background he has continued to funnel money and aid to Hamas.

Now he is made blatantly obvious his alliance with Israel is only skin deep. As far as he is concerned it is perfectly okay to have a new Nazi regime established next door to Israel, flinging rockets and mobs of terrorists into its territory to kill Jews, even as that new Nazi regime indoctrinates more Arabs to its cause.

Second, by this decision Biden is meekly appeasing the student pro-Hamas rioters on college campuses. They want Hamas saved and Israel destroyed, and have been protesting violently in order to influence Biden and the Democrats to apply pressure on Israel to stop its offensive. Biden has now bowed to that pressure.

Expect those riots to not only continue, but to escalate. You appease bullies and that only encourages them to be bigger bullies.

Third, Biden has now demonstrated that he — and the Democrats — have a very distorted view of the public’s opinion of this war. The public remains horrified to its core with what Hamas did on October 7th, and supports unwaveringly Israel’s effort to destroy it. By allowing the pressure from the U.S. Muslim community and the radical academic community to influence him, Biden is falling into a trap of his own making.

The Arab community and academia comprise a very small faction of the Democratic Party total voting base, and more important, there is little chance the Democrats will lose those votes come November. Biden’s actions here to placate those voters however are certainly going to lose him votes from the many more moderate Democrats that exist, most of whom have up until now been unaware of the radical Marxist, anti-Semitic strains that dominate the Democratic Party. Biden is now helping to open their eyes.

Pro-Hamas as well
Pro-Hamas as well

To sum up: Biden has now shown us that he and the Democratic Party he represents have no problem with killing Jews. Nor have they any problem with riots on American streets. As one Democrat politician once said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” Such ugliness furthers their agenda, to fundamentally transform America from a capitalist, free, constitutional republic ruled by law to a Marxist bankrupt race-based authoritarian state, ruled by men with unbridled power. Without Hamas, student rioters, and other Arab terrorist entities (such as Iran), those crises would end, and that’s the last thing these Democrats want.

Are these the people you want in power?

Meanwhile in Gaza, I guarantee that Israel will fight on. After October 7th, it has no choice. To allow Hamas to survive after that atrocity would be equivalent to endorsing it, and to encourage more of the same, something Israel cannot tolerate.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

I would write my opinion of Bidumb, but Bob would banish me forever for my choice of words.

Bob, you forgot the moustache on the photo of our Loser in Chief

First, I wish for wide-scale broadcasting of the videos with the atrocities that Hamas had committed on October 7th. Include also the heroes welcomes many of them received from the so-called “civilians” in Gaza. Let it be known far and wide just how evil the terrorists are.

Second, Biden, Blinken, and other advisors have no doubt seen such videos themselves. Their support for Hamas, which was obvious from the start with various State Department tweets, shows that we have an Enemy Administration in charge in Washington, one with no appreciation for our democratic allies or our founding principles.

They are stopping the shipping of airdropped 2,000lb bunker-buster bombs. used to destroy deep underground tunnels.
    Just to be an appeaser.

Its not like Israel absolutely needs those now. They are going to be moving in block by block and just need to move in artillery mortars and tanks to do the jobs above ground. And that is not even counting infantry deployed RPG.s.
Once they find a tunnel they will just drop in 500 pounds of explosives to close it off.
Plus there are other just as deadly ways to close off the tunnels once found. Natural gas or some kind of fuel to burn it out.

The busters just make the job easier and safer for Israel.
They could also just make their own similar bombs for the future.

The people who are happy he did this are idiots and clueless.

    Fallow the money!

The Nazis had great wealth all stolen from the Jews!

Ted Bundy was not much better than Hamas

  • Ray Van Dune

I expect him to take credit for “standing by Israel” if Hamas is successfully dealt with… or even if they aren’t! Dems love their three-letter handles… FDR, JFK, LBJ, and now FJB!

Biden doesn’t even know where he is. He is just a figurehead. Perfect symbolism for a post-Constitutional republic. One of my pet peeves has become when people blame Biden for what the american government is doing. The american government is so large with so much funding, you can’t even count it – much less control it.

It’s not simply that Biden is a jew-hating, corrupt, racist.
He’s always been one and this is nothing new.

It’s the fact that obama, who is also a jew-hating corrupt racist, and notorious dog-eater, that is actually running the Country.
None of this ever ends as long as obama is alive.

    John,

While it is true that the American government is overly large, the president DOES have the ability to affect its actions. Biden is just a figurehead because he has allowed himself to become one. He has willfully chosen a platform favored by Bernie Sanders, and he has allowed radically Left-leaning people around him, many of whom are Obama holdovers, to determine policy.

The trouble is, few people are able and willing to point to the fact that the many policy disasters since Biden took office are not simply Biden’s fault, but actually reflect the Democrat Party’s harmful positions on nearly every issue. We would have had the same disaster with any other Democrat in the White House.

@F This is largely correct. The current administration is run by committee and so it cannot make hard decisions. This is why the constitution called for a single person to be the executive, rather than a group like the Supreme Court.

  • F …

… unless the current Pseudodent assumes room temperature, Kamalalalala, Gavin the Worst, and any other Dem should not get their hopes up about moving into the White House.

Any attempt by the Dems to shuffle the current Pseudodent off the national stage is an admission that they either were too ignorant – or more likely, too greedy for power – to care about putting a garden-variety politician well past his prime into the Oval Office.

And reinforces the idea that they will continue to jam the idiocies promoted by their current figurehead down our throats, no matter who ends up behind the Resolute Desk.

We and the general public need to insure that the news always includes:
10 Americans were slaughtered in the initial attack
5 Americans are still being held (this was 6, I don’t know the fate of the sixth

This needs to mantra on every show and every network
