Head of Swiss Space Systems attacked
Horror: The CEO of Swiss SpaceSystems (S3) was attacked and badly injured last week in an attack that was appears to be connected to a series of threats he had reported in the last several months.
Pascal Jaussi, 40, who heads Swiss Space Systems (S3), was beaten up and set on fire by two unknown perpetrators on August 26th in a forest in the canton of Fribourg, reported the Tribune de Genève on Monday. News of the attack was not released until his condition improved, said the paper. The CEO’s life is now out of danger but he remains in a serious condition in hospital, it said.
The entrepreneur was found near his vehicle and transported to Lausanne’s CHUV hospital with burns on 25 percent of his body. According to the paper’s sources, Jaussi was forced to drive his car into a forest, where he was doused in petrol and set on fire. He managed to get himself out of the vehicle and call a friend, who alerted emergency services.
This does not sound like a random attack, but something planned by someone who was trying to make a point. In that context, the threat and attack could be related to some personal issue of Jaussi’s that we are unaware, or it could be connected to his company, which if successful will challenge many other big aerospace players.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. "Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

No, this is everyday unsolved mass crime in Middle Eastern Europe of today. The justice systems of Europe have no chance to even start investigating a tenth of the run of the mill violent crimes like this anymore. The criminals focus on somewhat wealthy people for profit. They set an example and show that they get away with it 9 times out of 10, so that they can get more out of future extortions. Governments react by keep on cutting back on the police force and the military and lowering punishments. Western Europe is the new Middle East. Who runs a space company in violent islamic countries like Syria, Switzerland, Libya, Sweden or Iraq? Only irresponsible idiots who deny the obvious facts of their own lives. Pascal Jaussi was totally naive and stupid to think that he could make it without extensive life guard protection 24/7. It has nothing to do with space, other than that there cannot exist any kind of modern industry in an arabic country.
Localfluff: I agree, as European in similar situation! Who is responsible for that development? US geopolitical strategy? Failed, decadent Western liberalismus as such?
Alex– The United States is responsible for a lot of stuff, but not crime in Switzerland. (I must draw the line somewhere!)
Localfluff– There is something to be said for your broad generalization ( & delivered in your trademarked flair!) but that aside, I would point out a key factoid on “crime;”
–Forcing someone to drive their car into the boonies, and then torching them with gasoline, is an extremely up-close-and-personal type of criminal activity. The perpetrators had to spend a lot of time pulling this off, in close contact with the victim.
–There is definitely more to the story than what has been reported so far.
–Some sort of message is being sent to this guy. I can’t speculate as to whether it was personal, political, business, or a mixture of all 3, but it definitely wasn’t a “random-act-of-violence,” I’d bet money on that….
Wayne:
What is related to the story is arape related, not space related. Someone has something because he or she creates something valuable. Arapes attack and murder and steal and destroy it. That’s the only thing all arapes ever have done throughout their 1000+ years history going back to their own stone age, which they insist all human kind must succumb to. The single idea of islam. Now they are in Switzerland doing the same thing. This is not rocket science.
You wanna bet that Swedes committed this crime? How much do you wanna bet? Do you actually understand after all???
‘fluff-
I don’t know who actually pulled this off & I’m not pointing the finger at ordinary Swedes, just saying, “that is an up-close-and-personal type of crime.” It just doesn’t have the hallmark of a random-crime-of-opportunity.
I’m sure it will get more interesting as the facts are revealed.
hey…careful!… “I understand, all to clearly,”
{don’t make me fly over there and face-slap you, academically of course!}
:)
— I’m the one who publicly advocates we utilize our nuclear-weapons on the Middle East, kill huge (huge) numbers of jihad i’s, break all their stuff, irradiate all their oil, and make all their sand melt & glow. i.e. turn it all into Trinitite.
After that, you Europeans can do anything (and I do mean “anything”) you want to them, on your own soil & I won’t complain one bit.

I believe that localfluff is implying that this was an extortion enforcement action. A gang, quite possibly of ME origin, demands money from someone who has raised capital. When they don’t get that money, he is made an example of through this assault. Not at all a random crime. Very much a crime you might see in the back corners of the ME.
Localfluff: I need some clarity, as I really do not know what an “arape” is. I think you might mean “arab” but to do so I am making a leap. Please explain.
Tom Billings–
Point taken. Extortion, does make a lot of sense.
I was just editorializing on the manner of the crime, in contradiction to ‘fluff’s assertion of “everyday unsolved mass crime in Middle Eastern Europe of today.”
Count me down as someone who would like an update on this story, in the future.
An arape is a zombie pseudo human who rapes children, executes all LGBTQ and enslaves all women. Ans/or advocates that by proclaiming itself as a muslim arape. That’s an arape. A majpority of arapes have voted, actually being enforced from the Western World to vote, and they voted for raping children, executing all LBGTQ and enslaving all women in Gaza, in Algeria, in Egypt, In Iran, in Turkey (and essentially in Afghanistan and Iraq too). In the recent decade alone. If there are “peaceful muslims”, they certainly are a tiny minority. Read their stone age book, the only one ever written in arapic language, and you’ll understand why. Because it says so. That is ONLY cultural heritage of the arapes. They never learned anything in a 1000+ years. They never developed.
As an experiment: What have you ever bought which was manufactured in an arapic country?
What do you imagine that you would’ve benefitted from Alexandria, Persia, Egypt, Syria. All the flourishing cultures which the arapes invaded and occupied and totally destroyed. Setting back human civilization by a thousand years. As they are now invading and totally destroying Western Europe with their child rapes, their murder of everyone LGBTQ, enslavement of all women and total intolerance against any kind of science of cultural evolvement. Their wars and and terror and tyranny and backwardness. Do you think it is just a coincident that ALL arapic countries suffer from that? But almost no other countries in the world. Just a coincident, is it? Nothing to do with arapic stone age “culture”. Well…
I don’t know who tortured this particular CEO to death. But who dares to bet against me that it was a bunch of arapes? Who else would do such a thing?
Localfluff: Great, thank you. It seems that we both share same experiences! Nothing more to say! Who allowed or made the arape invasion of Western Europe possible or even enforced it?
Alex,
Stupid stupid Swedes and other western Europeans did, because we thought it was a kind thing to do. That’s how we spontaneously treat our loved ones and our friends and any stranger we encounter. Because we think we are God, immortals who can sacrifice ourselves endlessly without consequence. It is a collective mental illness, and it is called Christianity. Jesus destroyed us, as he himself failed by letting the state torture him to death.
