Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands. Instead, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

3. A Paypal Donation:

4. A Paypal subscription:

5. Donate by check, payable to Robert Zimmerman and mailed to

The woman who had been in charge of the IRS office when targeted conservatives beginning in 2010 now heads the IRS office that will enforce Obamacare.

O goody: The woman who had been in charge of the IRS office when it targeted conservatives beginning in 2010 now heads the IRS office that will enforce Obamacare.

Her name is Sarah Hall Ingram. Remember it, you will hear that name again. Meanwhile, the man who announced his resignation from the IRS today, Joseph Grant, had been her deputy until 2012. He only took over her office after that date, which means most of the scandal occurred during her tenure.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Oh great, medical care based upon weather or not you are a democra or a republican, or upon ideology.

I get all tingly just thinking about this.

And they are protected by union rules. In effect they can’t be fired by the IRS itself but by a union appointed greivance panel that makes firing an IRS employee literally like pulling teeth. The process can be drawn out over several years all the while receiving full pay. Welcome to the tyranny of the bureaucracy.

This is how your medical care will be run, how your education will be run, how your carreer will be run. This is how your life will be run by nameless, faceless bureaucrats.

Your life will be controlled by political bureaucrats.

Your life will be controlled by others.

    Your life will be controlled.

Welcome to the fundamental transformation of this country.

    Welcome to statism.

Welcome to the state being the individual.

Welcome to the state being you and you being the state.

    Welcome to the Borg.

Except that this can all be shut down, and quickly. It requires the GOP leadership in the House, each of them, to grow a pair and cut the funding out from under the IRS. Then let them continue to work if they want, but they will not be paid. Same with the new crop designated to run Obamacare. No money, no programs, and there is nothing (legal, that is) the White House can do about it. No more time for half-hearted measures and idle threats. The future of the country is at stake.

I left the Rebublican Party this year having first voted for Ronald Reagan for his second term after being sicked by the moderate RINO establishment Republicans i.e Dole, McCain and anymore Bushes.

I am a libertarian-conservative and former US Air Force Reservist who loves this country more than any party, any generational identity or any religious identity.

FACT: We are at war with domestic leftists the likes of Bill Ayers and his 1960’s and 70’s ilk.

Either our elected statesmen and stateswomen stand up and risk all, regardless of their political fortunes, and decent hard-working Americans wake up, or this country will be seriously and irreparablly harmed.

    Well said.

We will only get rid of federal unions when someone like Ronald Reagan becomes president and just plain fires them all for not doing their duty.
    And sticks to it.
