Two SpaceX launches yesterday evening, on opposite coasts and only five hours apart
SpaceX yesterday completed two different Starlink launches, placing 46 satellites total into orbit from opposite coasts and only five hours apart.
First, at 7:05 pm (Eastern) a Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral, carrying 23 Starlink satellites, with its the first stage successfully completing its seventeenth flight.
Next, just over five hours later, a Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Vandenberg, carrying its own cargo of 23 Starlink satellites, with its first stage also completing its seventeenth flight.

It’s mid-March and there have been 46 launches already. That is an accomplishment. The more there are, the cheaper it should get.

Is it me, or did you post the same link for each launch?
wayne: My mistake. The first link is now fixed.
Worth noting they seem to be launching 23 per launch of Mini V2’s now, up from the original 21. That we are assuming involved optimizing the trajectory, barge placement, weight trimming the V2’s. They have a claim of aiming for up to 28 per launch. That is hard to imagine without serious weight loss on the satellites. Not sure the is almost 25% more performance in the booster to eke out.
