Today’s blacklisted American: The FBI’s purge of conservatives forces one agent to sue
They’re coming for you next: The effort of the FBI’s management, led by FBI director Christopher Wray, to purge all conservative agents from the agency by using false charges of treason in connection to the January 6, 2021 protests has forced one agent to sue.
Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a lawsuit on behalf of FBI analyst Marcus Allen in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina against FBI Director Christopher Wray for violating Allen’s constitutional rights by falsely accusing him of holding “conspiratorial views,” stripping his security clearance, and suspending him from duty without pay. The FBI revoked his security clearance because apparently the FBI believes that any views contrary to its own regarding what occurred on January 6 constitutes disloyalty to the United States.

The FBI suspended Allen in January 2022, claiming in a one page letter [pdf] that:
The Security Division has learned you have espoused conspiratorial views both orally and in writing and promoted unreliable information which indicates support for the events of January 6th. These allegations raise sufficient concerns about your allegiance to the United States and your judgment to warrant a suspension of your clearance pending further investigation.
In other words, the FBI was accusing Allen of being a traitor, but it did so without citing any evidence. As Allen’s complaint notes,
[Allen’s] allegiance is to the United States, as he has demonstrated during his years of exemplary military and law enforcement service to his country. [Allen] was not involved in the events of January 6 and did not support them in any material way. The FBI has made no allegation or offered any evidence to the contrary. [Allen] has expressed no view that could be reasonably interpreted as personally expressing support or sympathy for any unlawful activity that occurred on January 6.
The FBI has not identified any specific statements or actions supporting its contention that Plaintiff has done otherwise. [emphasis mine]
The suspension, with no pay, also required Allen to get FBI permission before obtaining outside employment, or lose his standing with the agency.
Since that suspension in January 2022, however, the FBI has done nothing to move his case forward. It has held no hearings, refused to respond to any inquiries by Allen or his lawyers, and has refused his requests to sell a “prayer journal” in order to earn money. As his complaint notes,
Plaintiff is a father of three young children and sole income-earner for his family. His family has exhausted its savings and currently lives off withdrawals from a retirement account.
This vicious and vindictive action by Wray and the FBI is simply part of an ongoing campaign [pdf] to purge the agency of conservatives so that it can more aggressively serve as a Gestapo for the Democratic Party, without fear of discovery. This purge is also an extension of a similar purge that took place in the military during the Obama administration.
At this moment that purge is succeeding, based on the partisan attacks against Republicans by the federal intelligence agencies in the past six years. These agencies have harassed Republicans repeatedly. They have performed illegal house searches, confiscated cell phones for no cause, spied on Trump and others, and filed false charges against them, all as part of acting as the Democratic Party’s goon squad.
By suspending Allen and men like him, Wray and the leftist agents under him have been free to act aggressively for Democrats with no fear of consequences, and they have done so. Nor is this lawsuit likely to change things much. At best, it will clear Allen’s name and get him back pay. I suspect he will never be able to recover his job, even if the court orders the FBI to reinstate him. This Democratic Party goon squad might put him back on the payroll, but it will also likely ostracize him so that he is unable to report on their illegal actions.
A government house-cleaning now near impossible
The only solution is a full house-cleaning in the executive branch, but the opportunity to do that was from 2017 to 2021, when Trump was president. He didn’t do it, and the likelihood of another Republican president willing to act aggressively has vanished. Even if one such person could get nominated, the Democrats now control the election process nationwide, and will do any underhanded and illegal thing they can think of to guarantee their victory.
There remains one way — unlikely as it is — to clean up the FBI and the other corrupt executive agencies, and it lies in the power of the purse. Come January the Republicans will control the House of Representatives, and will thus be in a position to slash the budgets of these agencies. If those agencies don’t have money, they won’t have any power to abuse. They will be gone.
Of course, this route requires a Republican Party willing to fight, and that is something the Republican Party has been unwilling to do for decades. Since the 1980s it has been quite willing to sell the Democrats the rope that the left has been using hang conservatives. Expect more of the same.

If the House of Representatives fails to remove the budget from the FBI and CIA to serve as an example to the rest of the executive branch of what can happen when the deep state runs amok, there are only two remaining paths for the United States to follow:
1. The current path, which is a descent into leftist tyranny, following the well-worn examples of other countries in this hemisphere such as Venezuela and Argentina, with perhaps a civil war thrown in for good measure; or
2. The (I hope peaceful) dissolution of the Union into its constituent states, starting with Texas, and with the red states of the South quickly following.
I am hoping for #2, which will allow people to choose the form of government which they believe best suits their preferences, and does away with the non-responsive federal bureaucracy.

Unfortunately, there is little that can be done by using the power of the purse – they simply have to “regretfully” let the uncorrupted agents and staff go, and move their minions around to vacated places.
Nuke ’em (euphemistically, of course). Completely SHUT THEM DOWN.
Start new agencies, ruthlessly vetted to keep the weasels out. Those agencies should be MINIMAL – tech support for state/local police ONLY.
And, use the same methods of eliminating the traitors – suspend them without pay, force them to get permission for ANY paid activity, and forbid them to discuss any aspect of the cases with ANY media. Attorneys for those traitors to be held to the same standards – i.e., no leaking.
