March 19, 2021 Zimmerman/Batchelor podcast
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

The John Batchelor Show – originally from WABC – left the air / live streamcasting earlier this month. Talkers
http://www.talkers.com/2021/03/10/wednesday-march-10-2021/
reports that CBS News now syndicates him, but I can’t find any live streamcast sources. If you would, let us know the latest JBS situation – where / how to hear JBS live, etc.
Thank you!
Tom Williams: I posted this repeatedly: His show is now networked on the CBS radio network. Should be easy to do some DuckDuckGo searches and find the nearest live affiliate.
If none are available to you, you can always listen to his podcasts at his audio boom site.
However, I can’t imagine in this day and age you won’t be able find any radio stations that also live stream their feed on the web.
I think the deal right now is all of John’s old affiliates were connected to his Westwood One deal. It appears that his show is trying to market to affiliates through the CBS group and it make take a while to sell to new stations. In the meantime, the podcasts are appearing daily and provide the same content as before.
I like Jim Bohannon
Gary,
You are right. I thought the station I was listening to had his new show, but the Wednesday show was his old last Azerbaijan trip.
I need to call up and bother my local station to carry his new show. I was happy when they dropped Michael Savage for John Batchelor.
