Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands. Instead, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

Remember Romney supporter and businessman Frank VanderSloot?

Remember Romney supporter and businessman Frank VanderSloot? First attacked by the Obama campaign, he was then subjected to two audits, from the IRS and Labor.

Gee, I wonder why?

And here’s a story describing five other examples of the IRS being used to punish opponents of the Democratic Party.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

The nature of man is to abuse power as it relates to one mans power over another man. JGL.

The counter balance to this nature?

    The Constitution.

I love how the MSM is trying to pass this of with the typical “Its happened before”excuse.

I’m just curious who else did it and what happened to them?

Just like Benghazi where no one was fired they were “disciplined”, which means that they were shuffled around to other high paying jobs for a good job done. Four men die apparently for political optics reasons during an election and no heads roll. There is no consequence for failure in our government, and this goes way beyond just failure this goes to politicians and the bureaucracy that they control being used as a weapon. This is by definition tyranny!

Its no longer about the people it is about the extention and preserving of what must be preserverd, government! This is abuse of power.

The beauty is the the founders understood the nature of man objectively and the counter balance that they designed to that nature still functions today. Brilliant!

It also points to some serious ethical problems at the IRS. If they are doing this for Obama, then there are probably numerous similar ethical violations not related to politics. Tempting to look at your neighbors tax returns isn’t it? Argue with another parent at a PTA meeting? That’s an audit.

The IRS will enforce Obamacare, think about that for a few minutes, see where you go with it.

Yes, but not if we allow the constitution to be considered a “living document” from which the Supreme Court can find it own meaning in the Constitution such as the “penumbra of emanations” for the right ro privacy wording of the majority opinion in Roe v. Wade.

If it is competley editable and plastic, the Constitution means nothing but what the ruling elite want it to mean at any given time in any given situation. Why even study the Law.

  • JGL

That is the difference between subjective and objective, the Constitution is objective, it is based in logic not emotion. Abuses occur when the Constitution is interpreted as a subjective document. When Obama says “because its the right thing to do”, for example, that is a subjective personal opinion. Who could argue with “the right thing to do”? These are word tricks played by mass manipulators. The Constitution does not breath, it contains the means to be adjusted as needed, but it does not breath.

  • The Constitution is not a living document, it was killed long ago, along with many of out liberties. What matters now, is what we Americans are going to do about it. These slime IRS folks need to do prison time.

  • They will be rewarded with more power.

  • D. K. Williams

Obama put people in positions of power based on ideology, not competence. And he continues down this path with his two latest nominees. If he has any sense, he’ll clean house starting with Holder. I’m not going to hold my breath.

    Excellent points.

The O will NEVER admit he made a mistake.

He will only go down swinging.
In the end it will all have been a conspiracy against him.If we get to the end.
