Indian Larry – Custom motorcycle builder
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News
Indian Larry: “Im gonna do what I wanna do, how I wanna do it, and when I wanna do it”.
He built his business and his life doing what inspired him as an individual and not asking anyone, especially the government, what any of it should be or should not be. And he managed to pay for it all.
And that IMO in a large sense describes what America is really all about, and there are people in this world who have a deep desire to destroy that individuality and freedom and control every aspect of everyone’s lives (D).

And what is a measure of that American individuality and success? Another American willing to pay over $200K for one of the two wheeled items of your passion.

Take a look at his obituary. (The only one I could find was in the New York Times.) Good friend of Robert Mapplethorpe……

Thats America, Wayne.
Trump knew Epstein. Al Gore roomed with Manson. Hillary sold Girl Scout cookies to Satan.
Sometimes you come across people in your life that are not the best that humanity has to offer, but that does not mean that you are what they are. (Except for Hillary of course :)
Indian Larry as a standalone is a model of the American dream and his ability in America to found and build his business and his life, on his terms, tattoos and all. That is America.
