I wonder where they stole that idea.
- On this day in 1969 Apollo 11 was launched
Armstrong and Aldrin would land on the Moon five days later.
- On this day in 1945 the U.S. detonated its first nuclear weapon near Alamogordo, New Mexico
Since the fall of the Soviet Unioni, people seem to forget that we are still living with the threat of nuclear war capable of destroying all life on Earth.
