At the moment our modern Nazi movement appears to be winning

Chamberlain in 1938
In 1938 Chamberlain thought he could negotiate
with Hitler. Today American politicians think
they can negotiate with Hamas.

Now that we have clear evidence that the left is nothing more than a revised but reborn Nazi movement — allied with murderous Islamic groups like Hamas, it is imperative we track whether the good people in the world are willing to fight it, or appease it as was done so stupidly in the 1930s when Hitler first began his march for world domination and the extermination of the Jews.

In the past week, it seems more and more that appeasement is the watchword of the day.

First, Israel has repeatedly delayed its invasion into Gaza, mostly because of demands from western leaders, led by Democrat Joe Biden, to hold off so that negotiations can continue to get the hostages released. A news report today further reiterated that Israel has agreed to hold off, pending these negotiations.

The reasoning from Israel is the hope that Hamas will release a “big number” of hostages quickly, such as all women and children. Getting one or two hostages released on a weekly basis — which is what Hamas is presently doing — is not considered acceptable to Israel. At that pace it will take more than two years to get all released, and based on how the news cycle goes, after a few more months Israel will have lost its military initiative and Hamas will likely stop releasing any hostages.

The reasoning from western leaders and their allies in the Arab world is likely to stall the invasion long enough that they can rally protests and opposition to it so as to entirely block it. Biden officials will deny this, but they will be lying when they do. Right now the only bigotry and hate the Biden administration can see is “islamophobia,” a problem that hardly exists, though maybe considering the recent actions of Muslims supporting Hamas’s torturing and murder of women and little children it might be time to see it grow. And even as that administration mouths weak platitudes of support for Israel, it appoints a Muslim to an important position, a Muslim who called for the extermination of Israel and all Jews living there.

Meanwhile in the House of Representatives the Republicans are rallying around the only candidate for speaker, Tom Emmer, who is not only liked by the Democrats but has also refused to consider election reform. Of all the Republicans who threw their hat in the ring in this present round of voting, Emmer is the only one who refused to recognize any evidence of election tampering in 2020, even though that evidence was extensive and disturbing. To him, all was hunky-dory, and anyone who even raised questions about that election was an “election denier.” Moreover, Trump doesn’t want him, and Trump is almost certainly going to be the Republican presidential candidate. By picking Emmer the Republicans are essentially telling us that they wish to form an alliance with the Democrats against Trump. Do not be surprised if both parties team up to block him from being the candidate. (See UPDATE at the bottom of this post.)

Both stories align. Our weak leadership — willing to appease Hamas and the Arab world — will not tolerate a change here in the United States. The next election is almost certainly going to have more vote tampering and fraud than the last, all aimed at keeping the powers-that-be in power.

They will then double-down on their weak policies of appeasement to killers, both in the Middle East and in American cities nationwide. Chaos will reign, and the dark age will descend upon us with blinding speed. The border remains open and the people now crossing it include the most people on the FBI’s terror watch list in decades, numbering in the hundreds. And the Republicans might claim they want to seal the border, but if so their effort to block Trump, the only president in the past four decades to successfully regain control of it, tells us they are also lying on this front.

Genocide is coming to America. And its arrival is getting closer and closer.

UPDATE: Though supported by a bulk of the Republican Party, Emmer dropped his bid to become speaker today when 26 Republicans said they would not vote for him. He apparently decided to forego winning the speakership by putting together a coaliation of Democrats and Republicans, something he likely could have done.

None of this changes my conclusions above. It just highlights the divided weakness of those who might possibility stand up to the organized and undivided forces that right now favor genocide and racial bigotry. The good guys can’t get together and fight the bad guys. Instead, they fight among themselves while the house burns down around them.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

“Deny your enemy their power by not caring about what they are certain that you care about.”

    TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS.

One more disturbing point about Emmer. He was employed for some years as a spokesman for the Soros funded National Popular Vote Initiative (to abolish the Electoral College). Emmer was also working chair for the 2022 RNC Reelection Fund committee, which denied funding for Trump endorsed candidates and others judges as too “MAGA”.

Just went last night to a theater showing of Dnish D’Souza’s “Police State”. A very good movie. Knew a lot of it, learned some new things too. About half filled (30) in the small theater in a multiplex. Almost everyone was well past the age of 60.

I share your sadness. All the best to you and your readers. Even in these sad times keep writing about Space. It is one of the only bright spots.

Emmer is apparently already out as Speaker nominee.

Israel should start moving in. I feel for the hostages but one MUST think of them as lost in combat already.

Israel must move into Gaza and find all the tunnels and hiding places of Hamas. Root out the evil rats and exterminate them.
They can let those who want out of Gaza as they move in and take each block. Search them all and move them all out of Israel, which includes Gaza now.

  • Cotour: I am at this moment adding an update to the post.

    Coupla Churchill anecdotes

This one is particularly appropriate to our time.

When Chamberlain returned from Munch, Churchill announced

“You had the choice between disgrace and war. You chose disgrace and will have war.”

Here’s something not widely known, When the Chamberlain government fell after the disaster in Norway and the on-going disaster in France and Low Countries, King George VI’s advisers told him “Anyone but Churchill”. He was HATED by the British establishment. So the King floated ideas like appointing the defeatist Halifax, but none passed the smell test. Finally he was told the truth, “The British people will have no one BUT Churchill.” so he capitulated.

Later he realized that he had made a brilliant choice and appointed one of the most loyal servants the Crown had ever had. They came to like and admire one another.

“King George VI was not enamored with the selection of Churchill as prime minister after Chamberlain’s resignation. Nevertheless, focused on World War II, the two men quickly developed a strong working relationship and deep respect for each other.”

MAGA Conservatives are apparently not acceptable to the mass of the Congress. And RINO Republican’s are also not acceptable to those who are more Conservative.

I say keep the Congress shut down until a more Conservative than not Republican is agreed upon.

This is our system, this is our process, no matter who thinks what.

A strong line must be drawn because in strength there is salvation and a future. And weakness can only empower our enemies who we can plainly see wish to drag us all more and more Left.

NOTE: Trust no politically empowered politician, which is not to say that there are no good men and women in politics, not at all. BUT

Trust them only by their actions and never by their words.

I trust Jim Jordan and I trust Byron Donalds by their actions.

Re the Chamberlain photo caption “…Today American politicians think they can negotiate with Hamas”: We’re past just negotiating with them and well into late-western-Roman pay-the-tribe-off practices, or alternately medieval “Danegeld”, with $100million to go directly from the U.S. to the same Gaza government that committed the attacks, all with no preconditions or quid pro quo demands whatsoever, as would be characteristic of even the most inept “negotiation”. The Foggy Bottom Boys seem to be operating on a model of “Send them a lot of money. I hope their behavior changes, at least a little bit.”

  • FM: Your point is well taken, but I think the distinction is irrelevant. Chamberlain thought that by giving Hitler stuff he would stop being a bad guy. Biden and his buddies in the State department think that by giving Hamas stuff they will stop being a bad guy.

It didn’t work the first time. It won’t work this time. And it will never work.

Give a bully what they want and all you get is more bullies.

  • Jeff Wright

    It’s a no-win scenario:
For now hostages are being released and no Israeli soldiers are dying…but people want vengeance. Roll in and it can be a quagmire.

Turning the other cheek looks weak—but this time can be used by finding ways to flood tunnels…no cell phones to record Hamas drowning. Some conservatives say Israelis aren’t allowed to buy firearms— but in such a small area you don’t want to risk arming enemies.

Each scenario is different. Time to brainstorm

  • pzatchok

Its not about vengeance at all.

Its all about the future safety of Israeli’s. Not taking the Gaza strip now just puts it off. In the mean time Hamas can rearm and use the “win” to gather more strident followers. .

The terrorists are a cancer that can NOT be ignored. They must be extracted and eliminated.
This disease has lasted far too long.

Israel gave then food water medical help and rule of their own territory. The terrorists just used those efforts to attack Israel.

The Palestinian people have had there chance to police the terrorists and they have proven they can not or do not want to. Those very same terrorists tried to take over Egypt and failed. Forcing their only boarder friend to turn against them.

    The party is over. Period.
A real solder would prefer to die now than live and force their own children to fight and die instead. If Israel stands down now they are just passing the death on to the next generation.

    Jeff Wright

In order for a “deal” to be found between the two sides they both need to give and take.

    What does Hamas actually want?
As far as I know all they want is dead Jews.. All of Israel back with all non Muslims out, if not dead. They teach their children to hate and kill big nosed Jews and their puppets the Americans.
Other than that they beg for everything they can get from idiots around the world.

They have had 30 years or more to make a better life for themselves and their people and all they talk about is killing Jews.

How long would you put up with your next door neighbor threatening you and your children? And in many cases actually fulfilling their desires of your death.
You wouldn’t put up with it America so why does Israel have to put up with it?

They are keeping hostages in tunnels…ugh….I’d like not to see any more bloodshed. Iraq was a mistake in payback for 9/11.

Perhaps this lull in fighting can allow more intelligence to be gained by the Mossad.

Tanks on the move also plays to Hamas…
Had the tanks moved on the very day of the Hamas attacks it would have been harder to spin.

I don’t know what the right answer is. America is a large country. Israel is surrounded by enemies….not everything translates well.

  • Edwdlny

What should Israel do ? Smite them, smite them into oblivion. World opinion be damned. The hostages are casualties. From the river to the sea make the land palestinian free.
Regarding Chamberlain, after the failure of his effort, he became a strong supporter of Churchill and the war. Unlike our lib simps today who ally with our enemies in perpetuity.

    Cotour:

Isn’t the most important task in the US now, also in order to prevent a world war, to oust the warmongering and revolutionary neoconservatives from power, especially from their influence on US foreign policy? These false conservatives, who can be ideologically traced back to Leon Trotsky, are the true evil force in the USA.

  • Htos1av

EVERYTHING the “class of ’68” touches, turns into a commutarded, murderous hellhole. So much for the “freedom camps” all throughout Daley’s Chicago in the late 60’s……”they bought the world a Coke and kept it company”.

  • Hamas has absolutely no reason whatever to release a ‘big number’ of hostages: the second they do, here come the Israelis. As Robert noted, the best strategy for Hamas is to out-wait the West. By prolonging the release process, they may even be able to gain concessions from Israel and the West. From Hamas’ point of view, this is the best outcome: a significant military victory, and further concessions granted from your enemy. From appearances, this is the likely outcome at this point.

I am in agreement with pzatchok: the hostages are combat casualties. I would expect they will be used as human shields during an attack. This is harsh and unfeeling, but accommodation and sympathy in the wrong quarters has gotten us here. Many have noted that decadent societies are distinguished by an ever-decreasing sense of self-preservation, and that that distancing from reality is a primary driver in societal collapse.

Israel is a small country, with a population less than several US metropolises. The 1400 Israelis killed since 7 October represent 13 thousandths of one percent of the 9.4M population. A proportional number for the US’ 331M would be over 40,000. Would you be OK with that?

The GREATEST MAN of the 20th century was

    Winston Churchill.

  • David

If Israel is indeed still holding off the ground invasion because of requests from the U.S. and others, then that’s their choice. And a wrong one. The sooner they go in and kill every single evil Hamas member involved in any way with the murders and violence that occurred the better it is going to be. Hamas must be utterly destroyed and assigned to the hell they deserve.

The U.S. and Israel should try to extract as many hostages as they can, but they’ll not get them all. That’s war. And surely the U.S. can take control of the exit point to finally allow Americans and others to leave Gaza. Why we’re waiting on Egypt to get control of that area is beyond me.

  • David

Congressman Emmer’s only sin was to accept the truth in the end regarding the 2020 election. It was not stolen or rigged. Trump lost.

But fear not all you believers in his lies. It seems most probable that regardless of how many dozens of felonies Trump is charged with, or that has already been found liable for sexual abuse, or that he has no real plan to present to the American people on how he would govern, or that he is such a coward that he will not even debate his challengers, that he is on his way back to the White House.

For the only group living more in a state of denial than Trump supporters are Democrats.
