Surprise! Surprise! Despite many predictions of disaster by our lordly “experts,” the data now shows no increase in Wuhan flu cases at all in Wisconsin following its decision to allow in-person voting during its primary earlier this month.
There is of course uncertainty in this conclusion, but even the “experts” agree with this conclusion.
But then, we shouldn’t be surprised. The normal gathering of people in a sane normal society does not result in wholesale deaths from these kinds of viruses. If anything, it serves to strengthen the population’s immunity to them.
We are unfortunately living in a time of mass hysteria, where such common sense facts are ignored, and panic and fear rule the day.

I’m curious what your opinion on this subject is, Mr. Zimmerman: Do you think the Coronavirus outbreak has helped or hurt President Trump’s reelection efforts?
Also, the more we are told to shelter in place (I live in Bay Area in California), while hearing stores that this virus is more and more similar to the seasonal flu, the more infuriating it becomes. Pray for our temperament in the Golden State.

I have no idea. I do believe however that the entire manufactured panic in the press and among many politicians about this virus was expressly aimed at hurting him, not protecting us from the Wuhan flu. The panic so resembles the same crap I saw with the Russian collusion hoax, with the Ukraine phone call hoax, and with any number of other media-driven attacks on Trump and his administration.
The swamp in Washington hates Trump and what he represents so much that they are willing to literally put us in another great depression, putting 25% of the population out of work, if it means their status in Washington is reconfirmed.

YES. let’s piss more money away (those sailors are almost assuredly drawing temporary duty pay as they are drawn from active duty, land based Navy hospitals plus you’ve got the operating costs of ships in full commission plus the costs of the reservists mobilized to back fill for the active duty personnel on TDY and the costs of quartering crews in hotels and paying costs for subsistence ashore)
As well as the impact on morale of huge, highly motivated crews essentially doing nothing while their family lives are disrupted.

I saw in one of these links a telephone number you can call if you suspect the neighbor you hate to be infected, or is hanging out with suspected infected people.
Get a snapshot of the neighbor who lets their dog poop on your lawn without a mask on, and those pesky neighbor kids that we’re outside playing without gloves and sanitation spray.
