Leftwing civility: A college professor threatened a student during in a rant in which he insulted Republicans and even Mitt Romney’s wife.
Video at the link. The threat is veiled but it there nonetheless. The whole rant itself is quite disgusting, especially for a teacher to do it in class, when he has a captive audience.
“Democrats are just goddamned liars.”
He is referring to professional Democrats, not your typical Democrat voter. To continue:
The fact that one of their more politically useful falsehoods nowadays is telling black people that their problems are caused by white racism should not require us to treat that lie any more seriously than we do any other Democrat lie.
When Democrats say we need “a conversation on race,” what they really mean is they want to have a monologue, a tedious lecture about all the evils perpetrated against black people by those evil racist Republicans. Your part of the “conversation” is, shut up.
The witch hunt continues: The Detroit City Council unanimously passed a resolution Tuesday calling for the further prosecution of George Zimmerman.
It not like these leaders in Detroit don’t have their own problems that they should be dealing with, eh?
As I said yesterday, they are thugs, jack-booted thugs. If they could arrange a kangaroo court to guarantee the conviction of those they dislike or disagree with, they would. And in fact, that is what they are trying to do right now.
Leftwing civility works its magic: The family that George Zimmerman rescued from a car crash this week is terrified they will become targets of hate mobs if they say anything positive about him.
Thugs. The left and its minions are no different than jack-booted thugs, and the aftermath of the George Zimmerman trial has proven this quite clearly. Say or do something they don’t like, no matter whether it is legal, and they will come after you with threats of violence. And their leaders in the political world, led by President Obama, will just look the other way.
Modern civility: “We have had an enormous amount of death threats.”
I think this story sums up the entire George Zimmerman case. An ordinary citizen kills a black man in self-defense — clearly proven in court — and because of this he and his family are now under constant fear for their lives.
In other words, the violent, racist thugs in this case are all on the Trayvon Martin side of the coin.
Leftwing civility: “I hope you’re raped.”
Leftwing justice: A liberal state bar spends three years destroying a lawyer’s career merely because she is conservative.

This column was published not by the right but by the very leftwing Guardian. It has been years since I’ve seen a leftwing publication willing to let these kinds of questions be asked. Could we finally be seeing a crack in the wall of silence that the left has erected since the 1990s to protect itself?

These were the same people that were lecturing the right about civility after the Tucson shootings in 2011. Now they applaud the death of a person whose main legacy is that she helped free millions from tyranny.

Note that this was not said by a conservative, but by a very liberal commentator with whom I generally disagree. He should know, however, as he was fired by a leftwing “big media institution” for not toeing the line.

Leftwing civility: A man who expressed strong agreement with many leftwing causes has been arrested at the Wisconsin state capitol with a Molotov cocktail in his backpack.
The man, Kvon R. Smith, had reportedly used Facebook to threaten to do harm at the Capitol. Law enforcement was ready for him and arrested him as he attempted to enter the building. Smith then reportedly claimed to have a Molotov cocktail in his backpack. Police evacuated portions of the capitol building and a bomb squad reportedly arrived and handled the backpack. Police did not say whether or not the backpack contained the explosive device the man allegedly claimed it did. A search of the man’s apparent Twitter account reveals deep sympathies for Palestinians, support for other liberal and far-left causes, and claims of previous felony charges. Smith has also expressed support for the newest leftist movement, which previous Occupy supporters are beginning to flock to, named “Idle No More.” Less than 24 hours before being arrested, Smith stated on Facebook: “I’m in support of the Idle No More Movement.” Two hours after writing his support for the new activist movement, Smith posted this video on what authorities verify is his Facebook showing the bottles he claims to have intended to take to the Wisconsin Capitol building.

It is the audience that counts: The attendees at a labor event laughed and applauded the president of the Chicago Teachers Union when she joked about killing the rich.
Democratic Party civility in New York:
To think there are about eight other candidates in this race that are Black and Hispanic and you decided to pick Mark Levine the only White/Jewish guy in the race to raise money for.
This story is also a nice example of modern black tolerance to Jews and whites.
Leftwing civility: Democrat Alan Grayson returns to Congress and immediately calls Republicans terrorists.
That Democratic voters were willing to re-elect this vicious hateful guy back into Congress is proof to me that these voters really have no good will, are eager to demonize the opposition, and would possibly even approve violence against that opposition to achieve their ends. (Among Grayson’s many offensive acts, he once appeared uninvited at an opponent’s rally and refused to shut up, closing the entire event down. I just can’t find the link at this moment.)
Why history professor Erik Loomis should be fired.
The man is a perfect example of leftwing civility, eagerly encouraging violence and imprisonment against anyone who simply disagrees with him about gun control. He also illustrates typical leftwing hypocrisy, as only two years ago he self-righteously accused the right of somehow causing the Tucson shooting because of what he called its “violent right-wing rhetoric” (while failing to cite even one example).

The first quote is from a college professor no less. And the death threats? If accomplished, how would they be any different from the actions of the mass murderer in Connecticut this past weekend?
